Chapter 900 Justice is inherently noble

The voice was like a thunderclap from a clear sky, a sudden surge of emotion, startling those whose minds had been altered, and they all turned to look.

That's Cass.

The bearded man, his face resolute, stared intently at the Karami and roared, "Stop joking! Your filthy thoughts are like dust on the ground; how can they compare to our justice? This is a grave insult to justice!"

Karami smiled and said, "Your will is quite strong, to be able to say such things to me. But it won't be long before you swallow these words."

Karami encountered too many people like this, but in the end, he was still tamed and assimilated by himself, becoming a good dog.

If it weren't for that Blackbeard, he would never have fled his own country and ended up here.

Once he has amassed enough power, he will seek revenge on Blackbeard!

"This kind of thinking..."

At this moment, Wilbur, standing next to Cass, gritted his teeth and said, "It's truly disgusting! The idea that nobles are born noble is just a matter of relying on the legacy of their predecessors, and then treating it as an innate law. You must know that no matter who you are, you're just a human being! Nobility is determined by people, and if it's not acknowledged by people, then so-called nobility has no meaning!"

"Page 4, Section 3 of 'Sayings of Justice'—Mr. Kuro once said that a person dies when he is killed!"

"As long as this characteristic exists, no matter what your true identity is, you are just a human being. What humans call nobility is the spiritual elevation brought about by specific deeds. If you force your abilities to make others acknowledge you, you are nothing more than a despicable creation!"

Wilbur also sensed the thoughts that Karami was transmitting through the chains, and those thoughts were utterly repulsive to him as he studied the "Sayings of Justice"!

Cass took a breath and addressed the assimilated marines and soldiers: "Gentlemen, think about our justice! If we all have this kind of thinking, then who will protect the sea? When innocent civilians are attacked by evil and feel helpless, only we, the navy, can uphold justice for them! If we even abandon this, what difference is there between us and those evil forces, and those pirates!"

"Perhaps you were after status, perhaps you were after wealth, perhaps you were after power, but you still chose to be marines instead of pirates! So, there is a place of justice in your hearts that makes you feel you should do this, instead of being as despicable as those evil ones. You already have justice in your hearts, don't forget it!!"

Mr. Kuro said, "Watch what he does, not what he says."

Cass always remembered this saying. He never cared what his subordinates' motives were, because they were all doing justice.

Fighting pirates is a way of protecting civilians, and it is also a way of upholding justice.

As soon as Cass finished speaking, a cloud of white mist appeared around him. He was hidden in the mist, his face distorted and his figure blurry.

The white mist spread rapidly, covering the navy personnel and gradually enveloping the kingdom's soldiers.

“We protect civilians, so civilians protect us! We are civilians, so civilians are us. Think about where we come from. You, me, we are all just civilians! And why can't civilians be nobles! Nobility is not determined by bloodline, but by our deeds!”

Cass drew his saber and raised it high. "We are born noble, so why should we need others to bestow nobility upon us?!"

Justice is inherently noble!

"Yes, yes..."

One of the G-3 Marines who had been assimilated stared blankly at Cass, saying in bewilderment, "I joined the Marines to fight pirates. I was prepared for that from the start. Why would I want to become a noble? I only went to sea because I couldn't stand the taxes set by the nobles..."

On his chest, the chains that should have been tamed and disappeared reappeared, gradually turning from transparent to a blurry shadow.

"How is that possible..."

Karami stared at the scene in disbelief. Those he had tamed had their thoughts changed. Once those thoughts were awakened, they could not be changed unless there was a major stimulus. Even if they were changed, they would still carry Karami's own thoughts. Such people could be easily tamed by activating his ability again.

Abilities are absolute; this is a consensus on the high seas. No matter how strong a being is, if they are hit by an ability without protection, it will take effect.

But why did his mental chains reappear?!

This means his abilities are failing.

Moreover, people hit by the ability are supposed to be unable to move, so why is Cass able to move?

This bearded man...

The ability to restrain him?!

"Don't joke around! Only you, you must die here!"

Karami gripped the numerous chains that had suddenly appeared in his hands, pulling them tightly, and shouted to the people nearby, "Attack! All of you, attack! He must die here!"

We can't let him continue!

The bewildered kingdom soldiers instinctively raised their weapons, their minds still bound by Karami's orders.

"Mind Chains: Thought Shock!!"

Karami then added fuel to the fire. Chains burst forth from the hearts of the nobles who were not yet bound, connecting to Karami's heart and then transforming into a thick chain that headed straight for Kas's heart.

His abilities are not limited to his own; he can also use the thoughts of those he has tamed to create a powerful intellectual impact.
