"Bolo bolo bolo!"
At G-3 Fortress, the Den Den Mushi in Kuro's office suddenly rang.
At this moment, Kuro had his feet propped up on the table and was leaning back in his chair, pretending to be asleep.
Hearing the Den Den Mushi ring, he slightly opened his eyes, a hint of impatience flashing in them. "Lida."
"You're so close, why am I always the one who picks you up?"
Lida muttered something, stood up and jumped onto the desk, her small body sitting cross-legged. She picked up the microphone, "Moshi moshi, this is Fort G-3."
"Lieutenant General!"
A serious voice rang out from the other end, saying, "This is Branch G-314. We have something extremely important to report!"
Lida handed over the microphone. "Hello, Kuro, it's for you."
“I can hear you, let him speak.” Kuro didn’t move.
The Den Den Mushi made an exaggerated expression, its mouth opening and closing so wide it almost spat out saliva, and said, "A group of half-fishmen have captured Avalo Pizarro, the captain of the fourth ship of the Blackbeard Pirates, and are now towing their ship here!"
Wow!
Upon hearing this, Kuro sat up abruptly, snatched the microphone from Lida's hand, and exclaimed with wide eyes, "Who?! Abbas Pizarro?! That bastard Teach's henchman?! What happened? How were you caught? Isn't Teach in the old rear of the New World?!"
"Yes! The half-fish leader who defeated Pizarro is named Joe Rudolph. He said he wanted to make this guy a Shichibukai, and that he had contacted you, so..."
"Wait! I'm coming right away!"
Kuro slammed the receiver onto the Den Den Mushi, stood there stunned for a moment, and then blurted out a curse, "Fuck!!"
"Hmm? Kuro? What are your thoughts this time?" Lida asked, tilting her head.
This phrase in his 'native language' has been translated into various meanings, and every time Kuro says it, it has many interpretations.
He said the same thing when he saw Shirahoshi last time.
"No, this is pure fucking."
Kuro said, "That bastard Teach's subordinate has been arrested. This is going to be big!"
Clow didn't really want to provoke the Four Emperors of the New World; he'd rather let them fight amongst themselves and observe how things unfolded.
But who would have thought something like this would happen?
“Joe Rudolph…that’s the half-fish man from earlier. He seemed pretty strong.” Lida thought for a moment and said, “What should we do, Kuro? Should we make him release him?”
"Are you kidding me? If we abandon the Navy, where will we put our face? Where will I put mine?!" Kuro said angrily.
Abaro Pizarro, the Evil King, is one of the world's most dangerous criminals. His history was erased by the World Government. He was once a ferocious king, and various rumors suggest that he is a dangerous figure. He was also one of the companions Blackbeard chose when he entered the Sixth Floor. He is a giant pirate who emerged from the battles of the criminals on the Sixth Floor.
Now, he's been caught.
Regardless of whether Teach comes to the rescue or not, Kuro cannot gamble.
Honestly, I don't think Teach would. He and Whitebeard are the two extremes. Whitebeard would have turned the whole crew to save any of his sons, no matter who they were.
Blackbeard's attitude was, "If you become strong, we'll be your partners; if you're killed, it only proves you weren't strong enough."
He was a person who believed in "only the strong should be promoted".
But what if that happens? It would be foolish to leave the decision to a pirate, so Kuro was very decisive.
Call for reinforcements!!
"Kro, Kro!"
Kuro opened the window and shouted outside, "Bring me the permanent pointer of Branch G-314!"
As he spoke, he activated the Den Den Mushi on his wrist, dialed a number, and the Den Den Mushi on his wrist answered after a ring.
"This is Admiral Kizaru's office..."
"This is Kuro, give the phone to the old man!"
"Yes, Vice Admiral Kuro!!" a voice shouted from the other end. Soon, the Den Den Mushi's expression changed to Kizaru's lewd look.
"Oh~ Kuro..."
"Grandpa, I need your help!" Kuro interrupted Kizaru before he could finish speaking, "A group of half-fishmen have captured Pizarro, the fourth captain of Blackbeard's crew. I'm going there to take him over. He's at the G-314 branch. Grandpa, you should hurry up too. I'm afraid that bastard Teach will snatch him away halfway!"
"Blackbeard? That's terrifying~" Den Den Mushi pouted and said, "Are you going to start another 'Marineford War' because you're in conflict with one of the Four Emperors?"
"The person has been arrested, we can't release them! That's it, I'll wait for you there!"
Kuro hung up the phone and dialed again.
"Brother Yixiao..."
Besides Kizaru, Kuro also shouted and laughed. He was currently "recuperating" at headquarters, and upon hearing Kuro's request, he naturally agreed readily.
In addition, all the lieutenant generals remaining at headquarters were summoned by Kuro.
At this moment, Kuro entered with the permanent pointer and handed it to Kuro.
He opened the window, floated out, and turned back to say, "I'll go first. You guys get the Golden Lion out here. Also, notify all the G-3 naval vessels on patrol to come back. And also notify Cass and Wilbur to take the ship to the G-314 branch. Get Pizarro out before Teach arrives!"
With that, Kuro charged forward at high speed, creating a cloud of air around him as he flew in the direction of the permanent pointer.
"Hey, aren't you taking me with you, Kuro!"
Lida shouted from the window, but she could no longer see Kuro's back. She could only stomp her feet in frustration.
Headquarters.
"Have you captured Pizarro?"
Inside the Marshal's office, Sakazuki paused slightly, listening to Kizaru's words, "Why didn't you report to me?"
"Well, who knows? Maybe he has his own reasons," Kizaru shrugged.
Sakazuki nodded: "An internal operation? If I were to make the decision, it would be an open operation by the Navy, which might leak information. Capturing Pizarro could lure Blackbeard. You, Fujitora, and that kid Kuro, if things go well, might be able to severely damage Blackbeard! This is an act of justice. Borsalino, you go ahead. I've given my permission. Let Fujitora take ten warships over."
"Oh~ then I'll be going now. That kid sounded really anxious." Kizaru said, then turned into a ball of yellow light and disappeared.
Seeing Kizaru leave, Sakazuki clenched his fist, a smear of red showing through his glove, and a smile curled at the corner of his mouth.
He understood what Kuro meant; this was not only a secret operation by the Navy, but also something to be kept secret from the World Government.
Otherwise, given his personality, he might not have started a war so quickly after the World Conference ended.
But he couldn't wait!
What Sakazuki wants is complete justice, the end of this Great Pirate Era, not its resurgence.
One Yonko isn't enough, so let's add another Yonko to properly intimidate these pirates.
Kuro probably thought the same as him, which is why he didn't inform him.
"I'm not going to lose to a young navy man..." Sakazuki murmured.
It's okay, he understands, he understands everything.
