Chapter 914 seems a bit off.

Inside the Golden Lion, the bloodstains on the deck had been wiped clean, and Pizarro's body had been thrown into the sea.

The entire fleet is now moving towards headquarters.

In the top-floor office, Cass and Wilbur came together to apologize to Kuro.

“Mr. Kuro.”

The two bowed their heads before Kuro. Wilbur spoke first, saying, "I have come to apologize for our failure in handling the matter last time. We did not take the mission seriously, which led to such a terrible incident!"

"Ah... well, everyone makes mistakes. The world's will doesn't revolve around us, especially since it's right around the time of the opening. Just take care of it." Kuro sat in the main seat, waved his hand, and didn't seem to care at all.

Once the problem is solved, he really doesn't care much.

That ability, however, is quite interesting; it can assimilate thoughts and then tame them, but it seems...

Kuro glanced at Cass; mental abilities would be a complete waste against this guy.

"What about those who were kidnapped? Are they alright?" Kuro asked.

“No one was injured, and following the incident, they expressed their support for David’s ideals,” Cass said.

After that ability was backfired on by Cass, those nobles were also influenced by Cass's ideology and have become exceptionally righteous, which has given David a foundation to do his things.

Previously, the approach was to follow the bottom line and abandon the top line; now, the top and bottom are of one mind, especially now that the top may understand this even better than the bottom.

Then things will be much easier.

But Kuro was unaware of this.

He nodded: "If everything's alright, then this matter is settled. By the way, how many people came to the opening ceremony? It sounded like a grand event."

That half of the Guran Tezoro was handed over long ago and converted into a sightseeing boat; I heard it gets quite a lot of visitors.

“Mr. Kuro, if we count the kings, a total of fifty-three kings have come, fifteen of whom David met at the World Conference,” Wilbur said honestly.

"There are quite a lot of people here. Well then, the tourism industry can be considered up and running."

Kuro nodded and said, "After you arrive at headquarters, rest for a bit and then continue your escort mission. Although it would be good if the matter were resolved, it's best if nothing happens on this sightseeing route. You know, an absolutely safe environment is one of our major selling points."

“Yes!” Cass and Wilbur stood up and answered loudly.

Caston paused for a moment, then said, "Mr. Kuro, David has a question to ask you about Dressrosa."

"Huh? I'm just a navy man, I can't possibly control a king. It's really inappropriate for him to 'ask for instructions' from me. He's the king, he has to make his own decisions. Let's not talk about this anymore, lest outsiders hear and think I have some strange ambitions."

Kuro waved his hand, leaned back, and said to the two of them, "Alright, go out."

"yes!"

Cass and Wilbur gave a naval salute and then left together.

Kuro curled his lip. A king who spends all his time hanging around here is one thing, but now he has to make all the decisions for him. What's going on?

Although David himself established his throne, it was essentially a power granted by the World Government and had little to do with him.

He and David were just business partners.

After leaving, Cass frowned and said to Wilbur, "Did Mr. Kuro grant David the authority to make the decision?"

“That’s how it should be.” Wilbur nodded. “After all, Mr. Kuro has always been like this. Everything is under his control. He won’t say anything, he’ll just tell us what to do. Mr. Kuro’s words also mean that we, the Navy, shouldn’t openly interfere in the Kingdom’s affairs, as it would have a negative impact on us. We are, after all, the Navy, and we must fulfill our responsibilities. If we get too involved, outsiders will notice Mr. Kuro’s ambition—no, it shouldn’t be called ambition, it should be called a righteous aspiration.”

“That makes sense.” Cass sighed. “The road to justice is long and arduous…”

Then he firmly stated, "As long as we steadfastly walk this path, eventually someone will walk this path!"

The two disappeared down the corridor as they talked.

Behind them, Kizaru stroked his chin, his sunglasses gleaming strangely, and pouted, saying, "Dressrosa, huh? How terrifying..."

The tone of his voice was full of meaning.

Two days later, the warship arrived at headquarters, where the naval personnel were invited to attend a meeting.

Kuro originally wanted to leave directly, but he had no choice and was forcibly dragged to the meeting.

"This incident..."

Inside the conference room, numerous vice admirals were gathered. Kuro sat in the first position on the right, below him were Gion and Kakei. Sakazuki sat at the head of the table, flanked by Kizaru and Issho on either side.

"Blackbeard is going to invade Alabasta, which is a challenge for us. This time, we are ordered to stop Blackbeard. The Navy is to launch a full-scale operation and head to Alabasta."

Sakazuki surveyed the area, then looked at Kuro and said, "Kuro, you're going."

Kuro raised an eyebrow. He wasn't against it; he was willing to fight Teach if there were enough people.

"Well, Sakazuki, let Kuro do something else this time."

Suddenly, Kizaru spoke up: "He is still in charge of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. G-3 is on the front line. Now, our spies in Wano Country have sent word that Big Mom has arrived in Wano Country. In any case, we need to be prepared on the front line."

Sakazuki thought for a moment and nodded, saying, "That makes sense. Kuro, you can stay in G-3."

Um?
