"Your Observation Haki has been developed to this extent, that's really impressive..."
Before the glutinous rice strips even got close, a faint sound could be heard coming from inside.
The stick that had struck Kuro's body slowly stretched open, or rather, it hadn't actually hit him at all.
Katakuri could sense that the sticks were stopped by an inexplicable force when they were within inches of Kuro's body, and that force was pulling his sticks away little by little.
As the mochi strips retreated, Kuro appeared unharmed in Katakuri's field of vision. One of his fingers was slowly moving downwards, and it seemed that this was why the mochi strips retreated because of his movement.
Is it a factor of ability...?
Katakuri squinted instinctively.
Kuro looked down at him and laughed, "You 'saw' it, didn't you? This is what's happening now."
Kuro, though not of the Observation Haki type, probably understands it to some extent. He must have seen this scene before taking action.
But it's always just a little bit off...
Is the pressure not strong enough?
Katakuri said, "So you managed to stop it with your ability, then..."
He stopped pressing his hands on the ground and stood up. The sticky rice strips that had been extending out lost their momentum and began to move downwards.
Kuro ignored it, letting the sticky rice strips fall to the ground and sink into it.
"call..."
Katakuri exhaled and extended his fist, which began to glow with a white light.
"Then let's get something more exciting! Unrivaled Donuts!!"
Kuro Kanji: "You're someone who makes rice cakes, and you're making donuts? That doesn't look right."
"None of your business, just take it!"
Katakuri raised his fist, a sinister smile creeping across his face: "My moves are not easy to defend against!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Kuro paused for a moment, then instinctively slashed around with his sword.
Nearby, a white, round, glutinous rice ball appeared. As Katakuri threw a punch, a huge, imposing fist flew out from within the white circle, swiftly attacking Kuro.
"Super Strength Rice Cake!"
when!!
The fist collided with Shusui's black blade, producing a loud bang. But just as the blade struck, Katakuri laughed and said, "You think I 'can't' see?"
Almost the instant Kuro made his move, another white circle appeared around him, from which a huge arm extended and punched Kuro.
He saw it!
I knew it!
So we took action!
Bang!
The fist slammed into Kuro's body with a dull thud.
Kuro's body remained completely still, but upon closer inspection, it was discovered that the fist was still a little short of Kuro's body.
A layer of phantom material reappeared, like a tortoise shell, blocking the fist.
"That's great, foresight... although it's not omnipotent, it can still provide a lot of convenient things," Kuro said with a hint of envy.
He found that he envied quite a few things. One moment he envied Logia-type abilities, the next he envied Conqueror's Haki, and now he envied Observation Haki, which allowed him to foresee the future.
Seriously, I want everything good.
Just as the phantom blocked the attack, Katakuri, as if he had anticipated it, swung his fist again. Several more rounded circles appeared in front of Kuro, and fists emerged from within the circles, smashing directly at him.
"I can see!"
He used 'precognition' throughout, so he knew what Kuro would do.
"Can you really see everything?"
Kuro ignored the circles, his body blurred into afterimages, and his voice appeared behind Katakuri.
As soon as Kuro disappeared, Katakuri ducked and kicked backward, feeling his leg strike something hard. Then, his body split in half, and a black light slashed through the gap he had just opened.
Then, the ground surged, and the glutinous rice ball formed a spike and rushed backward. Another circle appeared beside it. Kuro dodged to the side of the circle as the glutinous rice ball thrust forward, and the circle flew out and punched him.
Whoosh!
But his punch still missed.
"It really is..."
"Clap your hands and make glutinous rice balls!"
Kuro appeared directly above Katakuri. Before he could finish speaking, two round circles appeared on either side of him, from which two large, jet-black hands covered in Armament Haki extended and slapped directly at Katakuri.
"Gan Li Nuo Tuan!"
Just as those hands slammed down, Katakuri created another circle in the air. This time, instead of extending his hands, the round circle was covered with Haki, and spikes formed around it. All the spikes, imbued with Haki, shot towards one direction.
At that moment, Kuro had just appeared there when he was met with a barrage of spikes.
Ta-da!
Numerous spikes struck the Xuanwu shield protecting Kuro, causing the tortoise shell phantom to ripple.
"Tsk!"
Katakuri clicked his tongue and temporarily stopped.
He saw it, but he couldn't do anything about Kuro's speed or his power, which was enough to withstand any of his attacks.
No matter how he anticipated Kuro's location or launched his attack in advance, he still couldn't do anything about this guy.
But this is only natural. He is an admiral who killed his mother and Kaido, so he cannot be compared to other beings on the sea.
Kuro watched the mochi-like spikes disappear, shook his head, landed on the ground, and asked Katakuri with a smile, "Have you had enough?"
"not yet!"
Katakuri gritted his teeth and stretched his arms out to the left and right, creating a large number of mochi circles that filled the sky above Clow and Katakuri.
Kuro looked up and exclaimed in realization, "A wide-range attack, combined with your precognition, can hit the enemy with precision. That's impressive."
"Do I need to say thank you for your praise?" Katakuri said coldly.
"No need for that. I'm just giving you a little recognition. After all, you're going to be one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. You can't do it without some strength, and this strength is enough."
Kuro shook his head, a slight smile playing on his lips: "I've always been curious, can Observation Haki, which allows you to foresee my attacks, really dodge them? Why don't you try it? You can see them, but can your body react in that way? Or, can these attacks from above really stop my attacks?"
He slowly sheathed the Autumn Water, took a step forward, and assumed the Iai stance. "Give it a try. If you can dodge my attack, I won't make things difficult for you. You don't have to become a Shichibukai, or you can name your own conditions for becoming a Shichibukai. I won't have the Navy watching you."
Katakuri's pupils contracted, and he roared, "I'm not your testing ground, Kuro! I am Katakuri, the current captain of the Big Mom Pirates!!"
Within the circle, numerous fists emerged, all aimed at Kuro.
Kuro chuckled softly and said calmly, "Secret Technique, One Slash to Cleave - Desperate White Tiger Strike."
A gust of wind swept by, carrying Kuro's figure away in an instant. The next moment, the breeze brushed against Katakuri.
