Cass narrowed his eyes, glanced at the Douglas Navy Squadron behind him, then turned back and said, "I see. So, like my subordinates, they lack the existence of a 'heart'?"
"yes!"
Adela gripped her greatsword, crouching like a wild beast. "Though I am superior to you, I also want to know what it feels like to be 'complete'. You inferior humans can be 'complete,' so why can't I, who am superior to you, be complete?"
A dark aura surrounded him.
Adela's eyes glowed with a black light, and embers as black as ink ignited around him.
"Killing you will teach me what it means to be a complete human being!"
Adela leaped up suddenly, gripped her greatsword, and slashed down at the white mist barrier.
BOOM!!!
As the greatsword slashed down, white mist billowed outwards.
"Give yourself to me!!" Adela roared, her eyes contorted with rage.
Cass stared at Adela in the sky, then suddenly closed his eyes and tears streamed down his face. "I could feel it. When you clashed with my 'justice,' I could feel that you were expecting something? Expecting to become a 'complete person.' That wasn't greed, it was just your expectation. How pathetic, how pitiful. What kind of experiences have turned you into this?"
He suddenly opened his eyes, and the white mist spread outwards, wrapping around Adela's body.
"I will not kill incomplete people, because they are also incomplete 'evil'. If you want to kill me, then become a complete person and have a clash between good and evil with me! As the embodiment of justice, I will never lose!"
