Siva walked along the commercial street, returned to the amusement park, and entered the castle guarded by layers of guards.
Inside the castle, it was brightly lit, as if it were daytime.
It was an extremely wide avenue, with armored guards standing on both sides, whether they were sculptures or real people, it was hard to tell. At the end of the avenue was a tall staircase, and at the top of the staircase were three thrones, two at the back and one at the front.
The throne at the back was empty; only the throne at the front had a figure sitting lazily.
Shiva walked step by step until he reached the bottom of the steps. He then suddenly swung his wide cloak, revealing his well-built muscles.
He wasn't thin at all; on the contrary, he exuded strength. He didn't smile; instead, he was very serious.
Shiva knelt on one knee and bowed to the throne, "Your Highness."
The person above was Prince Amusement, who lazily propped his head up with his hand and looked at Shiva.
"Oh... Shiva, how are those navy men?"
“No one can resist His Highness’s charm,” Shiva said in a deep voice.
"That's true..."
Prince Amusement took out a mirror, ran his hand through his hair, and said to himself with delight, "Because I am so charming, no one can rival me in charm."
“That’s right, no one can rival our Prince.”
Inside the palace, two people suddenly walked in. One of them was Kaishao, whom they had seen during the day. He had taken off his cloak, revealing a black guard uniform.
The other one was wearing a white lab coat and very small round sunglasses that revealed most of his eyes. He had a wicked smile on his face, and he was unusually thin but very tall, looking like a bamboo pole.
At the bottom of the two-person staircase, he knelt down in front of Prince Amusement.
"Greetings, Your Highness."
"You've arrived..."
Prince Amusement nodded and said, "Speaking of which, have you found that little girl yet?"
Kai Shao shook his head: "We're already mobilizing manpower, but the relief area is too big, we don't know where it's hidden."
Prince Amusement said, "Hurry up. There are still two years until the World Conference. The World Government will come during this time to check whether Morgani is qualified to participate in the World Conference. Don't let that little girl ruin my plans."
Kai Shao lowered his head. "Understood."
"Dr. Arcas, how's the pill making going?" Prince Amusement looked at the third person.
Dr. Arcas bowed respectfully, a wicked smile on his face: "My esteemed master, the production process for the 'Happiness Pill' is complete, and it's ready for shipment at any time."
"What about the quality of the goods?" Prince Amusement asked.
"The Underworld raves about it; after all, it's a magical artifact for forgetting your troubles," Dr. Arcas said.
“Very good, mix it with the latest batch of grain.”
Prince Amusement stood up, reached out and grabbed at the empty space in front of him, clenching his fist. "Gentlemen, let's work together to make Morgat better!"
The three of them bowed their heads together and said in unison, "Yes."
...
The commercial street was noticeably less crowded at night than during the day.
At night, Morgat is basically closed off; the amusement park is shut down, and most shops on the commercial street are closed as well, leaving little room for the fairy tales and joy that children crave.
However, it also contains fairy tales and joy for adults.
Kuro decided to investigate. This Morgati was too strange, too 'sinful'. Not for any other reason than that the commercial street at night was full of 'sin'. As a righteous Marine, he definitely had to investigate these sins thoroughly.
He's not a saint; how could he not go and have fun at such a great place?
However, there is now an obstacle in the way.
"Where are you going?" Lida asked, her gaze scrutinizing and questioning.
"Of course we're going to investigate evil. This Morgani is so strange. As the Navy, as the embodiment of justice, we must investigate him." Kuro spoke with great righteousness.
"You're right, aren't you, Chloe?"
Chloe pushed up her glasses, turned her head away, and a rare blush appeared on her face.
“Yes, Mr. Kuro, as a member of the Navy, we must investigate evil.”
"ha?"
Lida raised an eyebrow, saying incredulously, "When did you become so diligent?"
"What are you saying? I'm a Marine, you know. You should go back to sleep. It's not suitable to take you with me at night, and you have missions to do during the day." Kuro looked at Lida.
"All right..."
Lida nodded with some doubt, then turned to leave.
"etc!"
Suddenly, Kuro spoke, "Lida, come with me."
"Huh? Are you going to take me there?" Lida turned around, puzzled.
Kuro's eyes widened. What was going on? Kuro wanted to take Lida to experience an adult fairy tale?
Although she was an adult, Kuro knew that Kuro had never treated her like one.
Immediately, Kuro looked at Kuro with the same eyes one would give trash.
"Let's put the investigation of crimes aside for now..."
Kuro turned to look in one direction, took out a cigar and lit it. "Someone I care about seems to be coming over."
...
"Ha ha..."
In a narrow alleyway of the commercial street, a little girl runs through the darkness.
Bang!
She bumped into a trash can and fell to the ground, the trash can completely covering her small, thin body.
Where did she go?!
At the alley entrance, a squad of guards rushed out, looked around, and then gave chase.
