Kuro stared intently at the man and asked suspiciously, "The Pirate King?"
"Hahaha, that title is really absurd. Do pirates even have kings?"
Roger laughed loudly, "Hey buddy, what's the Pirate King?"
"To sail around the world and find the final point of the Grand Line," Kuro said.
"Is that... the king?"
Roger seemed thoughtful, then smiled and said, "While I don't consider myself a king, I do have the idea of finding the ultimate point. You're quite interesting, buddy. Want to come along?"
As he spoke, he reached out his hand to Kuro.
Kuro pulled a cigar from his pocket, lit it, took a puff, and his expression began to calm down.
A purple cross mark appeared between his eyebrows and continued to spread around his body, like armor, with Armament Haki covering his body.
"I'm a Marine, I don't associate with pirates, not even you. No, let's put it another way..."
Kuro gripped Shusui tightly, looked up and grinned, "I don't have any good feelings towards you!"
That makes sense, considering that in his world there shouldn't be anyone stronger than those at the top, though in the past there might have been.
The young Garp, the young Sengoku, and... the Pirate King Gol D. Roger who is still alive.
He's gone back to how he used to be!
