"Run!!"
The townspeople, their faces filled with terror, scattered and fled.
But despite its large size, this monster is quite fast. Its long beak, which is like an iron hook, has reached the top of a building and can easily rub a hole in it.
Everyone was fleeing, but in front of Kuro, the mayor who had just displayed incredible speed was now trembling again.
"grandfather!"
The little girl was trying her best to support her grandfather, slowly moving him to one side.
Where's my Peter that you just saw?!
Why don't you come out here!
Are the navy even less popular than monsters?!
"Gah!"
The strange bird also spotted the two people and pounced on them with its beak open.
Their body proportions are contrasting.
It's like the difference between an eagle and an earthworm.
It's too big!
The little girl turned her face to look at the strange bird that was rushing towards her, her face turned deathly pale, and she was so frightened that she could not move.
"She-Ra!"
Among those who were fleeing, one of them turned around, looked back, and screamed in surprise.
"How can it be repaired!"
He fired a shot at the strange bird.
Bang!
The lead bullet flew and struck the strange bird, sending up a spark.
It couldn't break through the metal outer layer's defense at all.
The man gritted his teeth, wanting to rush forward, but was held back by another person.
"Run! That's Sila, we can't do anything about it."
"But She-Ra and the mayor..."
"Your going won't do any good. It's all that navy's fault. If it weren't for him, we wouldn't have left the house. Sira wouldn't have been able to see anyone. At most, he would have just destroyed a few buildings."
"Damn it!!!"
The man's expression changed several times, but he eventually gave up his plan to rush over and was pulled away to run away with someone.
The strange bird was getting closer; the little girl could even see the cold glint in its beak, its sharp teeth that were as tall as her, and the foul stench emanating from them.
It’s over!
The little girl closed her eyes.
boom!!!
The strange bird crashed into the ground, its long beak burrowing completely into the earth. The shockwave shattered the surrounding land, creating a large crater.
"She-Ra!"
Among the crowd, some people knelt down and wept bitterly.
"Damn it, of all times! The Navy, everything is about the Navy!"
The burly man who had previously threatened Kuro with a gun knelt on the ground, his face contorted with rage as he pounded the ground.
Just then, Kuro's voice rang out: "Well, it's not too late to blame me after you've escaped."
The burly man looked up and saw Kuro standing in front of him, his hands holding the old man in one hand and the little girl in the other.
"She-Ra!" The burly man's eyes widened, revealing joy. "Th-thank you!"
Kuro put the two of them down, and Shiri finally came to her senses and said to Kuro, "Thank you, big brother."
Kuro clicked his tongue, turned to look at the monster whose head was stuck in the ground, and asked, "What is this?"
"Sila, the strange bird Sila."
Shiri glanced at the strange bird with fear and said, "This monster has been on our island for a long time. Every time it appears, there are always casualties. We have no way to deal with it. We can only roughly estimate when it appears and then hide in our homes. This bird won't go berserk if it can't see life."
What's wrong?
Tender green shoots?
Do you want to mess with everyone you see?
Kuro smirked. The new world was indeed strange.
"Isn't this Whitebeard's territory? That old man should be very responsible for the people in his territory, right? Why isn't anyone helping?" Kuro asked.
“Brother Marco comes every year around this time, but Sila is too strong. Brother Marco can only force it back, he can’t kill it,” Shire answered honestly.
Kuro looked at the metallic lumps on the monster's body and exclaimed in surprise, "Oh? Even Marco couldn't take it down? He's the strongest person besides that old man of yours, isn't he?"
Shiri continued, "In the past, Marco would arrive a few days in advance to set up camp, but..."
"Alright, Sheri, stop talking, they saved you!" The burly man interrupted Sheri.
Kuro gave him a meaningful look.
He knew what was going to happen next.
During this time, Whitebeard's forces had already gathered and were sailing towards headquarters.
There's no energy left to manage this side.
But it was their navy that caused Whitebeard's forces to gather.
"Speaking of which, can't that old guy come in person? He can't take him down either?" Kuro asked.
"Navy, watch your words!"
The burly man retorted, "Even though you saved Shire and the mayor, you can't say that Dad is the strongest... Anyway, Dad is the strongest, how could he possibly lose to this strange bird! Dad has come a few times, but each time it seems like this strange bird knows in advance; as long as Dad is there, it won't come down, and Dad's abilities..."
Whitebeard's abilities would make it easy for him to bring down the strange birds in the sky, but the island would probably be gone too.
Kuro looked at the strange bird and thought, "It won't really fight head-on; it's intelligent."
"Gah!"
At this moment, the strange bird pulled its head out of the ground, looked around at the people who had scattered and fled, and seemed to be thinking of a solution.
Then, he spread his wings, and suddenly some sharp spikes grew from the wings made of metal lumps.
Seeing this, Kuro was startled, "No way..."
Before the burly man beside him could react, he said to Kuro, "Anyway, you should run first. Sira is very strange. Once it sees a life, it will keep chasing it until the life is dead, unless you can force it to retreat."
