Chapter 82: You can touch me, but you can’t touch my child!

The carriage was already harnessed, and Jiang Jin walked around the horse several times with a look of surprise on her face.

"What do you think? Is it a spirit? Or is it another race disguised as a horse?" Jiang Jin was still discussing this with little Lucas.

Lucas tilted his head and stared at the stiff horse, then nodded in approval, "It's become a spirit!"

Jiang Jin stretched out a finger and gently placed it above the horse's eyes. She didn't know whether her golden finger would work on animals, so she simply gave it a try. There seemed to be no reaction. Jiang Jin didn't believe it, so she stretched out a palm and placed it on the horse's face. With a ding sound, a character panel appeared in front of Jiang Jin.

Character Name: Li Mi

Character race: Herbivorous

Character: gluttonous and lazy

Character status: Panic, fear

Character Favorability: -100

Character Abilities: None

Character health: 60

Character introduction: A brown pony named Chestnut, who eats a lot but doesn't run fast.

Jiang Jin's gaze stopped at the character introductions and she couldn't help but smile, causing Lucas to look up at her curiously, "Jiang Jiang, what are you laughing at?"

"Is this horse funny?" Seeing that Jiang Jin didn't answer, Lucas' words came out like a string of cannonballs.

After Lucas finished speaking, Li Mi's body trembled again. It found that the terrifying feeling suddenly appeared behind it again! It looked around with wide eyes, as if it had discovered a new world, and its big eyes were firmly locked on Lucas.

Realizing that he was being stared at by a horse, Lucas hugged Jiang Jin's thigh and took advantage of the gap when Jiang Jin was checking the character list and didn't see him to give Li Mi a grin, revealing a small baby tooth.

Li Mi discovered that when Lucas stared at him with a frown, a feeling of terror lingered!

It turned out that the source of all this was Lucas. Li Mi's two front hooves kept stepping on the mud on the ground. He felt uncomfortable all over when he thought that he was scared by a child.

The more he thought about it, the angrier he got. Li Mi exhaled heavily through his nostrils. He was so angry that he roared and kicked his horse's hooves forward! The direction was exactly towards Lucas!

If it were Jiang Jin, she would have immediately moved away if she was frightened by the horse.

If Lucas was the one who was about to be frightened, Jiang Jin didn't have to think twice. She instinctively took out her wand from the warehouse, moved her lips slightly, and uttered a series of spells.

Just when Li Mi's front hooves were about to step on Lucas's round little face, a ray of light flew out from the top of Jiang Jin's wand and instantly struck Li Mi's front hooves!

Everything happened so fast.

Li Mi's hoof fell too quickly, and Jiang Jin's magic also came too quickly. In just a blink of an eye, Jiang Jin hugged Lucas's body and cast a shield behind him to protect herself and Lucas.

But Li Mi was not so lucky. It was just a horse and had no intelligence at all. It didn't know how to dodge, so Jiang Jin's magic cut half of its front hoof off and it screamed in pain.

Horse blood splattered all over the ground, and Lucas didn't see anything. This was because Jiang Jin first covered his eyes with her palms, and then simply pulled up her scarf to cover Lucas' eyes. She secretly didn't want the young Lucas to see such a bloody scene.

Just in case, Jiang Jin picked up Lucas and turned him around, saying, "Be good, baby, don't turn around. I'll take you out after I finish this."

Lucas held the scarf with his little hands, revealing only his chubby little mouth and cute little nose. He nodded obediently, not to mention how adorable he was!

The smell of blood filled the air. Although Lucas didn't know what the scene behind him looked like, he had a vague image in his mind based on the smell. He pouted, not knowing why Jiang Jin asked him to turn his back.

"I clearly saw it all in my mind, Jiang Jiang is so stupid." Lucas thought silently in his heart, but he didn't dare to say it out loud.

On the other side, Jiang Jin squatted down and looked at Li Mi, whose favorability towards her had almost dropped to -500, and sighed helplessly.

"Huff, huff." Li Mi was panting heavily. Most of its front hoof was cut off, and blood was still flowing. It looked particularly bloody and terrifying.

"Tell me, if you don't want to come out then just speak up. You came out voluntarily, but you're still doing little things behind my back."

"Do I look so easy to bully? You, a horse, are specifically targeting my cub?"

The more Jiang Jin thought about it, the angrier she became. Fortunately, she stopped him in time. She had worked so hard to raise her little cub to this age and had spent so many magic gems. Not to mention being stepped on by this horse, even if Lucas was just pretending to cry, Jiang Jin would be heartbroken.

Li Mi couldn't understand any of this. He lay on the ground pitifully, breathing weakly.

After all, it was the only horse in the City Lord's Mansion. If it died, Jiang Jin would probably have to travel on foot in the future. Thinking of this, even if Jiang Jin was angry, she had to save Li Mi.

For the sake of her future travel, Jiang Jin took out her magic wand and cast a healing spell on Li Mi. She took out needle and thread from the warehouse, sewed the horseshoe that was cut in half together, and cast another healing spell.

Logically speaking, Li Mi's front hoof would need four treatments to heal completely, but Jiang Jin deliberately did not let Li Mi's front hoof heal completely.

After she had done all this and made sure that the front hooves were intact, she put away her wand, untied the shackles on Li Mi, and drove it back to the stable.

"If this happens again, I'll cut off all four of your hooves and turn you into a legless horse."

Jiang Jin squatted in front of Li Mi, smiled and reached out to touch its mane. That fake smile made Li Mi shiver again.

Waves of pain from his front hooves told Li Mi that this seemingly frail and easily frightened woman was the real terrifying one!

Li Mi curled up into a ball and didn't dare to make any noise, for fear that Jiang Jin would hit him again!

Before coming out, Jiang Jin cast a cleansing spell on herself, instantly removing the smell of blood and horse. She lifted her skirt to pick up Lucas, and found that little Lucas was still standing there obediently, covering his eyes with a scarf, and not moving.

"Lucas is so good. Here's a reward for you." Jiang Jin rubbed Lucas's little head and stuffed a small magic gem into his mouth for him to eat like candy.

Lucas subconsciously puffed out his small chest, happily circled around Jiang Jin twice, and said in a baby voice, "Jiang Jiang, be good too. I'll give you a hug as a reward."

As he spoke, Lucas stretched out his chubby little hands and hugged Jiang Jin's calf, then let go in an instant. He nodded with satisfaction, licked the magic gem in his mouth with his tongue, and ran forward happily.
