Chapter 35: Grabbing a Handful of Sunlight [Part 2]

"What should we name the little one?" Jiang Jin put the little one on the bed and walked back and forth in the bedroom several times with her hands behind her back.

According to the rules of Jiang Jin's family, they usually give children a nickname that is easy to raise first, and then give them a full name that implies a good future.

As a person who is bad at naming, Jiang Jin was troubled by how to name something and what name to choose.

The little guy sat obediently on the bed, with the sunlight from the window shining right on him.

The pure golden fluffy hair is particularly dazzling under the light, and the golden pupils seem to be shining with stars, clear and pure.

He looked up at the dust floating in the sunlight, giggled, and stretched out his white and fleshy little hands to grab it. Although he didn't catch anything, he was having a lot of fun.

"It's such a great loss that such a beautiful scene can't be recorded with a camera." Jiang Jin sat next to the little guy, feeling a little regretful.

The little guy clenched his fist and gestured to Jiang Jin. Jiang Jin didn't react for a moment until the little guy's chubby little fingers blossomed. Then she reacted.

"Zizi, are you grabbing a handful of sunshine for me?" Jiang Jin was a little surprised.

The little guy nodded, babbled twice, and climbed into Jiang Jin's arms.

He smelled like sunshine, comfortable and warm. For some reason, a word suddenly emerged in Jiang Jin's mind: Lucas.

Lucas means sunshine, light, and brightness in Greek.

"Lucas." Jiang Jin chewed and analyzed these three words over and over again. The more she read them, the more she felt that this was the best choice for the little guy's name!

But she also wanted the little one to have the same surname as her, preferably Jiang.

This was a dilemma. Jiang Jin was thinking hard about how to make a decision, while the little guy rolled around in Jiang Jin's arms, unable to sit still, and crawled to the side with his butt sticking out, completely unaware that Jiang Jin was about to decide on a name for him.

Soon, Jiang Jin came up with two names, Lucas and Jiang Zhou.

It was really hard to choose between the two names, so Jiang Jin decided to leave it all to fate. She wrote the two names on two separate pieces of paper, crumpled them into a ball, and placed it in front of the little guy, "Come on, choose one."

Whatever name you choose determines your name!

Jiang Jin secretly hoped that the little guy could catch Jiang Zhou's name, so she was a little nervous.

The little guy lay in front of the two pieces of paper, stretched out his hand and paused on the slightly larger piece of paper for a second. Jiang Jin held his breath, but who knew that he would retract his hand and put it into his mouth.

"You can't suck your fingers." Jiang Jin went forward with a headache and grabbed his hand.

"Ugh!" the little guy protested!

His eyes rolled around and fell on the paper in front of him. Suddenly, he grabbed a ball of paper with lightning speed.

The knot has appeared! Jiang Jin was about to take it, but saw the little guy opened his mouth wide and stuffed the paper ball into his mouth!

In a flash, Jiang Jin was nervously trying to take out the paper ball, but unexpectedly, the little guy chewed it for only three seconds and swallowed it.

Yes, he swallowed it!

At the same time, a bright white light suddenly appeared on the little guy's body and disappeared in a flash. Jiang Jin even thought that she was hallucinating.

"Are you okay, baby? Does your stomach feel uncomfortable?" Jiang Jin touched his round belly anxiously.

The little guy quickly spread out his hands and legs, lay down and let Jiang Jin touch him, and even showed a flattering expression, wanting Jiang Jin to touch him for a while longer.

"Hey, little guy, you're getting too far." Jiang Jin was at a loss whether to laugh or cry. She grabbed his two round legs, lifted up his butt and spanked him twice.

The little guy screamed and twisted his body, trying to escape from Jiang Jin's "clutches", but was spanked twice on the buttocks, so he could only lie still with his mouth flat.

Since the little guy had already chosen a name, Jiang Jin could only accept her fate. She opened the ball of paper next to her that had not been attacked by the little guy's mouth, and clearly saw the words "Jiang Zhou" on it.

Then it was Lucas that he swallowed.

"Then, from now on, you are Lucas." Jiang Jin rubbed his fluffy short hair, not realizing that when she called out the name Lucas, her body also emitted a faint white light that disappeared in an instant.

The little guy seemed to understand. He let out a cry, crawled to Jiang Jin's side, and rubbed his head against Jiang Jin's arm affectionately.

He is even more spoiled than Jiang Jin. He always acts like a spoiled brat and asks for a hug. But Jiang Jin just loves it and likes him very much.

Jiang Jin carried him downstairs and happened to meet the residents of Alicante who came to exchange food. They had cast off the dullness of the previous few days and were all smiling.

"How was your harvest today?" someone asked loudly.

"Not bad! The bag of beans won't get away!" Someone replied loudly with a hearty laugh.

Everyone was laughing, making noise, and excitedly lining up to get their food number tags.

The banquet hall suddenly turned into a large barter market. It was so noisy that it was not acceptable. Jiang Jin looked at the maids and servants who were busy arranging the distribution of food and felt a headache.

Whenever the situation is chaotic, it is easy for more people to take advantage of the situation.

Just then, Jiang Jin was standing at the stairs on the second floor when she saw someone who had exchanged a bag of beans but was pretending that he didn't get it.

"You just didn't give it to her! I gave her all my stuff, why don't you give me beans?" The man shouted, "People in the city can't go back on their word!"

The two maids turned pale and trembled after being yelled at by him. One of them went blank and subconsciously wanted to give him another bag of beans.

Seeing that he could get one more bag of beans, a smug smile appeared on the man's face. He stretched out his hand, and at the moment when he was about to take it, his hand was suddenly severely burned by the bag of beans as if it had been electrocuted.

"It hurts!" he yelled, reaching out to grab it again without giving up.

The bag of beans suddenly flew upwards, attracting everyone's attention.

As the bean slowly rose and finally fell into Jiang Jin's hands, everyone exclaimed when they saw the glowing magic wand in Jiang Jin's hand.

"Lord Chenglu!" The maid shouted as if she saw a savior.

In a flash, the residents of Alicante knelt on the ground.

"It's Cheng Li, my God of Light. Cheng Li is really a magician." Someone whispered.

After suffering a loss at the hands of Min Ba, Jiang Jin deeply understood her own weak constitution. If she wanted to show off, it would be better for her to stand in a favorable position to avoid being pinned down in a few seconds.

"I can vouch for the integrity of the Chengfu government." Jiang Jin tossed the beans in her hand upwards and then lightly grasped them in her palm. She calmly glanced at the man with a dark and pale face and curled her lips. "Whether you keep your word, I guess only the God of Light knows."

"Are you sure you didn't receive your share of food?"
