Chapter 204 Locust Army

The next morning, after Qiu Yuling and the other three children finished their breakfast, she put on overalls and trousers, and palm-sized cotton pajamas for them, and asked them to line up and follow their aunt for a walk.

The three little kids were crying out with excitement, not listening to any instructions at all. They rushed out of the gate and ran in three different directions.

Qiu Yuling's voice was hoarse from shouting, and she didn't listen at all.

She took out a whistle she had prepared in advance from her collar. When the whistle blew, the three of them looked at her in unison.

She called out again quickly, and the three little ones immediately turned on and stumbled towards their Guguda.

"Everyone, look at me and march in step!"

The three little ones rushed forward and climbed onto Guguda's legs, not caring what the "one, two, one" meant.

Qiu Yuling was not annoyed. As long as they moved, it was fine. She didn't care whether the team was together or not. She just asked, "Are they following her direction?"

The ground was frozen and no one could go to work, so everyone was idle. The neighbors who got up early poured water for washing their faces into the tree trough in front of their doors, and then stared at the daughter and triplets of Qiu Laoer's family and laughed as if they were watching a Western spectacle.

Qiu Yuling called everyone one by one with a smile and pointed out people to the three younger ones.

Unfortunately, the three little ones were all paying attention to the whistle on Guguda's neck.

He doesn't care about the idlers on the street at all.

Qiu Yuling turned on the kettle. The water temperature was just right. It contained sweet water with some ingredients added. She asked the three kids to drink it.

"All of them. Turn left. See, little sparrows, let me show you my skills."

Qiu Yuling took out a slingshot from her bag, and with a "whoosh", a miracle happened again. The little sparrow fell down with a free fall.

But the three brothers don’t want to die, they want to be able to jump on the ground.

Qiu Yuling thought about it and felt it was easy.

She took out a candy, sent Niu Dan'er away who was watching the fun, and went back to get a broken basket. She took out a handful of food from her coat pocket like a magic trick.

He set up a basket on the bare wheat field, scattered the grain, and then played games with the three children.

She kept her eyes and ears open, and when she saw prey entering the circle, she pulled the hemp rope and removed the small wooden stick supporting the basket, covering the two prey in the basket.

But the number was not right. Since ancient times, the problem is not the lack of prey but the uneven distribution of prey. The prey that was caught was not distributed. She took charge of it, moved the basket to another place, continued to spread the bait, and waited for the prey to come.

Perhaps animals also communicate with each other. This time they waited for an especially long time, and the three little ones were almost giving up. Finally, a sparrow landed, and it was particularly alert.

Qiu Yuling waited patiently until it entered the encirclement, and then with a "whoosh", she removed the support, and only then was the food and grass sufficient.

The sparrows with tied legs were distributed according to the number of soldiers.

The three little birds were tied to their legs with a long hemp rope. They fluttered around in the wheat field all morning.

Qiu Yuling leaned against a poplar tree, basking in the warm sunshine and taking a nap. She guessed that the baby was hungry, so she coaxed him back home.

He cut a piece of candy into three pieces and stuffed them into three small mouths whose throats could be seen immediately. After the fire was turned off, he quickly stripped off their overalls and trousers, gave them a clean set of clothes, washed the water in the basin until it became black, and stuffed a small wooden bowl into each of them.

The three little ones ate voraciously, especially the eldest one, who dozed off while eating.

After finally finishing the bowl, I laid it down on the kang and fell asleep in seconds!

"Her aunt still has the solution." Huang Duoer has never felt that a baby is so easy to take care of.

Qiu Yuling straightened her neck and accepted the praise from her family one by one. She had been the center of attention all morning and it was all what she deserved.

It was a rare opportunity for the adults to have a peaceful meal. Qiu Yuling adjusted her schedule and went to bed with her clothes on next to her three brothers. When she woke up, the three little ones were still asleep.

She asked her sister-in-law to stew egg custard for the three brothers just as she did yesterday. When the kids opened their eyes, they saw Guguda holding the golden and fragrant egg custard.

Another series of cooing sounds.

After eating and drinking, Qiu Yuling changed into the overalls and trousers she wore in the morning, cleaned of dirt, and continued the afternoon military training.

After a whistle, she gave orders to the three little ones, "Everyone, look at me and march in step."

Still one, two, one, and the chaotic warlord formations, three locust soldiers stumbled after the sound of whistles...

"My little sister is really resourceful!"

After hearing what her daughter-in-law said, Mother Qiu remained noncommittal. "It's not that she has any solutions. She herself is just a child. A child takes care of a child. No one will laugh no matter how she takes care of him."

If any of them went out with three beans like this, the people in the team would drown him with spit.

But without the mess of the little ones, the two of them freed up their hands to cut and sew. They planned to put the little clothes for the dolls aside, make a few more smocks and other things, and prepare spring clothes in advance. This kind of time is not always available.

After the autumn harvest, they brought the sewing machine back in the dark and placed it in their eldest son's suite. They never showed it off to anyone, planning to move in after their son's family moved in and a dormitory became available.

Now that the pieces of clothing have been cut, I turn on the sewing machine and finish the work in two seconds.

The sparrows in the morning were no longer of interest to the three brothers in the afternoon.

Because it was a rare sunny afternoon, there were many children in the wheat field, so the three brothers also joined in, following the older children and running around yelling.

Sometimes he would fall on his butt, sometimes he would fall over, but he wouldn't make a sound. He would just roll over and get up, and continue to howl and scream.

The three of them didn't understand the rules, didn't obey discipline, and only made trouble. However, due to their tyrannical power, the children in the wheat field dared not speak out.
