◎The Unrequited Lover—Luo Ying◎
What makes LM68 special is the discovery of a vast number of enormous humanoid corpses, more than all other planets combined. Furthermore, the planet is dotted with massive megalithic palaces, matching the size of these corpses, clearly the former residences of these so-called "gods."
"Could this be their headquarters?" Lan Hua followed Regas to the ruins of a palace.
The humanoid corpses here had long been moved to the capital planet by the researchers, and only the ruined stone exterior of the palace remained; everything that could be moved inside had been taken away. Then, he remembered that the temple of the greedy prophet from before seemed very similar in style to these palaces, only the prophet's temple, which appeared grand and imposing to ordinary people, looked miniature and tiny compared to these palaces. “It was Loying who sensed it,” Regas explained.

Luo Ying's eyes were emerald green, and although his hair was black, it was slightly wavy, making him appear to have little to do with Chinese ancestry. However, Lan Hua believed what Regas said. Regas might hide things from him, but he wouldn't lie to him.
But that's not why Regas had to bring Luo Ying along. Regas continued, "His ancient Chinese bloodline comes from the Heavenly God Chong."
As a descendant of the ancient Chinese people, Lan Hua naturally knew about the importance of the Heavenly God. “‘God’ is a being in this universe, and a ‘high-power’ being at that, but the energy of this universe is almost exhausted. Without energy, ‘God’ will die.” Regas raised a mocking smile, “Just like humans are running out of oxygen.”
In their universe, there are no high-powered beings like "gods," and their abundant energy makes them highly coveted. However, due to the protection of the laws, "gods" cannot directly descend.
“So, they used some methods to suggest that an advance force came to our universe hundreds of millions of years ago,” Regas said. “The war between humans and gods is far more extensive than recorded.
