Chapter 1 Entering the Apocalypse

Wang Bin quickened his pace, deliberately heading towards some secluded places.

But he discovered that the person behind him was faster than him and more familiar with the surroundings, and no matter how he tried to escape, he couldn't shake them off.

Wang Bin knew that if things continued like this, he would not be able to escape the other party's pursuit, and the only way was to find a way to get rid of them.

After glancing around, Wang Bin chose a five-story building and went inside. Fortunately, there were no zombies inside.

Wang Bin chose a room, then took an entrenching tool and hid in the shadows, preparing to attack the person who was following him.

But he waited for a long time and the person did not come in. Just when he was getting a little restless, he noticed that half a head was peeking at him from above the window.

"ah!"

Wang Bin was startled and involuntarily shouted.

The girl had already determined from her observation that Wang Bin was a novice. Now that she had been discovered, she stopped hiding, climbed over the window, broke in, and came up to him with a gleaming dagger.

"You, you stay away!"

Wang Bin kept retreating while wielding his entrenching tool.

The girl, with a cold expression, slowly approached Wang Bin, eventually cornering him.

Now that they were standing so close, Wang Bin could finally see the girl's face clearly. Although her face was covered in dust, she would definitely be a beauty once she washed it clean.

Her attire was somewhat like that of a bandit in a martial arts film; her clothes were dirty and tattered, and she had strips of cloth wrapped around her hands.

"Leave your backpack if you want to live!"

Once the girl realized that Wang Bin couldn't escape, she finally spoke.

Hearing the girl's words, Wang Bin felt a pang of regret. Why didn't he hide his backpack before coming out? Wasn't this just inviting someone to rob him?

It's too late for regrets now; the question is what to do next.

Judging from the woman's demeanor, she seemed to be a formidable opponent, and his chances of winning in a direct confrontation were slim. But if he gave her the backpack, how would he get through the next seven days?

Wang Bin gritted his teeth and decided to take a gamble, even if he couldn't win, he would force his way out.

Wang Bin swung his entrenching tool at the girl, but she was incredibly agile and easily dodged his attack. He was then kicked in the abdomen and screamed as he sat down on the ground.
