Chapter 520: Sell or Not

Chapter 520: Sell or Not

The bodyguards filed in, and the last one pressed the switch, and the bronze door slammed shut.

They sat on the stools, took out a small piece of cloth and carefully wiped their guns, their eyes vaguely scanning the area, feeling a little curious about the unfamiliar faces that appeared here.

Xia Yan said, "Lead the way."

The woman with glasses didn't expect such an answer. She raised her eyebrows in surprise and tilted her head, saying, "Follow me."

She took Xia Yan through the pile of cars until they stood in front of a metal wall. She raised her arm and aimed it at the scanner above. After a beep, the metal split to form a two-meter-wide passage. Blue lights illuminated the skirting boards one by one, extending all the way to the front of the elevator.

The woman with glasses turned sideways, looked into Xia Yan's eyes and said, "Come in."

Xia Yan walked in. The unidentified material on either side of the passage clearly reflected her bluish outline. Then she realized something was wrong. There were countless versions of herself inside, staring at each other in the mirrors, one on each side, and the surprise spread layer by layer...

"Don't be afraid, there's nothing inside." The woman with glasses followed in and the metal door closed silently behind her.

She looked at Xia Yan with a hint of mockery and contempt in her eyes, but this emotion was quickly concealed.

She walked past Xia Yan and quickly walked to the elevator door. She pressed the button, half-shielding her eyes with her bangs, and said, "Boss Bin should be waiting for you upstairs now. Please get in the elevator."

When the elevator door opened, it emitted a relatively dazzling light, and the figure of the woman with glasses was immediately swallowed up in the light curtain, making it impossible to see the subtle changes in her face.

Xia Yan smiled, said nothing, and walked into the elevator.

There are only five scattered elevator buttons, and the floor numbers seem to have been scattered and randomly picked, with no pattern at all.

The woman with glasses pressed the 25 key.

The elevator closed, and Xia Yan and she looked at each other through the door.

Neither of them said anything. Although it was a bit childish, whoever looked away first would lose.

When the door opened again, the struggle was forced to end.

There were four people outside the door. The most conspicuous person in front was Jing Wenbin, followed by three staff members wearing white sterile suits, with only a pair of eyes visible on their bodies.

Jing Wenbin's eyes lit up, "Boss Xia, you've made me wait so long! You're finally here!"

Xia Yan's tone was gloomy: "As expected, we are a group of people. Even the way of speaking has not changed."

Jing Wenbin:?

When he was about to use his eyes to question his men in the elevator, he unexpectedly found that it was not his men. A strange look flashed in his eyes, and when he turned around, he saw Xia Yan silently observing him.

"Ahaha, come, Boss Xia, I'll take you to see the experimental subject. He's in good condition tonight, maybe he can precipitate an extra milliliter." Jing Wenbin laughed and clapped his hands, then signaled the staff to lead the way.

When Xia Yan was about to leave, he looked back and saw that the girl with glasses in the elevator had no intention of following him.

When the elevator door was about to close, she suddenly said, "Boss Bin, are you going to sell the person inside?"

The woman with glasses suddenly raised her head, but the elevator was completely closed at this moment, blocking out all the sounds outside. She clenched her fists.

Jing Wenbin kept moving forward, and after two seconds he replied, "Are you interested in her?"

Xia Yan smiled: "Of course."

"Then let me think about it. After all, she is good-looking and has a good figure. I am not tired of playing with her yet." Jing Wenbin touched his chin with his hand, his tone obscene.

It's a way of speaking that all women hate.

Xia Yan didn't agree with him and said lazily, "Try to be quick. If it takes too long, I'm afraid I won't be able to resist and come to grab it myself."

Jing Wenbin didn't say anything.

Xia Yan didn't care whether he answered or not, her attention was drawn to the laboratories on both sides.

She had seen scattered lights outside the "Big Sail", and some floors were particularly bright. If she was not mistaken, she was now on the brightest floor.

So this is a laboratory.

The entire room is divided into multiple rows of experimental areas. Each laboratory is only five square meters in size. In the center is a fixed medical bed with a wired helmet on the head of the bed.

In the lab closest to her was a naked man, standing motionless in the corner.

The recorder outside seemed dissatisfied with his current state, and his finger poked on a slightly worn button, but Xia Yan didn't hear any movement.

But the man inside kept banging his head against the wall with a very painful expression.

The recorder picked up the intercom and said something.

The man was very sensitive to the sound, and a yellow and white tail stretched out from the tip of his tailbone tremblingly.

The recorder took a pen and wrote quickly in the notebook.

Jing Wenbin walked a long way before he realized that she didn't follow him. His tone and eyes were full of teasing.

"Could it be that Boss Xia is also interested in him?"

Xia Yan chose to ignore him and kept walking forward at his own pace.

In this laboratory, there was a man with a shaved head and a white cloth covering his waist. Although his upper body was naked, his overly thin body made it difficult to tell his gender. He lay on the bed like a corpse.

There was no recorder outside the door, so she continued walking forward.

Jing Wenbin raised his hand to stop the staff and watched her reaction with interest.

There is almost a recorder outside every laboratory. The experimental subjects inside are either squatting, standing, or hiding under the bed. They all have varying degrees of physical injuries, their eyes are distracted, and they are mumbling to themselves.

The degree of liberation of experimental subjects in different research directions was also different. Xia Yan saw dozens of people tied to beds, wearing helmets, their bodies trembling and struggling as the recorder pressed the buttons.

No matter how heart-wrenchingly they shouted, their voices could not be heard outside.

The recorders turned a blind eye and approached relentlessly, recording their subtle changes in detail.

It was like a one-sided massacre with the mute button pressed.

Xia Yan stood in front of Jing Wenbin, "Where are my people? Why haven't I seen them?"

Jing Wenbin's eyes moved slowly across her face, and he was disappointed to find that this person was even more cold-blooded than he had imagined. A feeling of powerlessness came over him, and he almost immediately believed that she was invincible.

"You won't kill him, will you?" Seeing that he didn't speak for a long time, Xia Yan narrowed his eyes.

But she didn't receive any message from the system, so the mission should still be going on.

However, after she saw the miserable condition of these experimental subjects, she already had an idea of the condition of the person in charge, Chen Juqing.

If you don't run, it will only get worse.

Jing Wenbin came to his senses and put all his emotions behind him. It wasn't the end yet, was it?

He tried to smile and said, "Of course not. My staff will do everything they can to keep him alive until he is handed over to you."

Xia Yan's eyes were full of doubt.

Jing Wenbin knew that no matter how much he explained, it would be useless, so he might as well take her to see it.

The staff leading the way stopped in front of an office door and stood on both sides of the door, looking at them silently.

Jing Wenbin pushed open the door, turned around and said to Xia Yan, "Please stop. I'll enter the password and come out."

Xia Yan nodded and took a step back.

The door closed again.

The only sound in the entire laboratory was the rustling of pens on notebooks. She could even hear her own heartbeat, but there was no movement from inside the door.
