The wind cannon, carrying ice shards, blasted the Earth Bear away. The Earth Bear's massive body cracked the road, its power astonishing.
Ning Yanlan, driving the tractor, cutely stuck out her tongue, then proudly gave a thumbs up.
Jiang Yuan's heart raced for a moment, not because of the danger just now, but because of Ning Yanlan.
With a deafening clang, the sound of metal clashing against metal was deafening. Jiang Yuan looked up and saw that the Blood-bellied Eagle in the sky had begun to swoop down to catch its prey. And it was obvious who the prey was: him and Ning Yanlan.
The driver's cab jolted, and Ning Yanlan almost crashed the car onto the side of the road, but she eventually managed to veer back to a straight line.
"Monsters are blocking the road ahead!"
Not only were there blood-bellied eagles in the sky, but even at the end of the road, there were layers upon layers of monsters blocking the way.
"Be careful!" Ning Yanlan's eyes were filled with anxiety.
Jiang Yuan turned around and saw a pair of giant claws grabbing at his chest. It was a third-tier lord monster!
"First-tier Berserk!"
"Combat mode activated!"
Jiang Yuan didn't activate Bloodlust, but the five points of strength he gained had already pushed his power to twenty-five. With the added boost from his weapon, he was capable of fighting.
The giant claw descended, and Jiang Yuan's folding iron sword slashed down in response.

One of the Bloodbelly Eagle's claws was severed, while Jiang Yuan grabbed the other. The powerful impact shattered the windshield into pieces.
With a loud rumble, the entire vehicle floated for a second. Ning Yanlan said with lingering fear, "Let it go, the load isn't enough to keep us going fast!"
Without sufficient load, maximum friction cannot be provided, and the vehicle speed is much slower.
"No need, I'll just make it unable to fly!" Jiang Yuan leaped ruthlessly, his iron-bladed sword striking the Blood-bellied Eagle's wing, which was larger than a person. With a crash, the entire wing fell off, and Jiang Yuan and the Blood-bellied Eagle crashed onto the roof of the car.
"Jiang Yuan!"
Ning Yanlan screamed in fright, but the next second a face appeared on the roof of the driver's cab.
"Beautiful lady, are you worried about me?" Jiang Yuan teased.
"Who's worried about you!" Ning Yanlan said with a laugh, but her heart, which had been hanging in suspense, was finally at ease.
"Look!" Jiang Yuan tossed something into the cockpit. "A Tier 3 Silver Core! Aren't I awesome!"
Ning Yanlan put the core into her storage ring. "Stop grinning. Look ahead, that's the most dangerous part!"
Many monsters gathered there, and there were many more along the roadside, but this was the last checkpoint. Once they were passed, they would be directly entering the human-controlled area.
The south gate was heavily fortified with firepower. Few monsters below the sixth rank could ignore such powerful firepower, indicating that the monsters were prepared and knew to ambush humans within a specific range.
"The car can't stop. If it stops, we'll be facing a swarm of monsters!" Jiang Yuan said solemnly.
"Come down quickly, it's dangerous up there!" Ning Yanlan urged.
Jiang Yuan flipped into the driver's seat, still fifty meters away from the monster pile.
"Jiang Yuan!" Ning Yanlan raised her right hand. "If I survive, I'd like to invite you to my house!"
Before Jiang Yuan could even agree, a massive energy shockwave reverberated through the entire cockpit, shattering the seats and sending debris flying. This was the very shot Ning Yanlan had fired.
Although it's called a Gale Cannon, the wind cannons it fires are as hard as ice, which is the result of Ning Yanlan's own spiritual energy.
The blasting cannon landed in the monster horde, blasting a gap in the solid monster wall, through which the two men's tractor drove.
Before they could even feel happy, all the monsters that were only affected but not seriously injured pounced on them, and the tractor, which had been driving with ease, suddenly became overwhelmed.
"Damn it!" Ning Yanlan greatly underestimated the monster's strength. If this monster swarmed in, it would stop even a train, let alone a tractor.
Fireball!
The icy fireballs pounded against the monster beside her, but Ning Yanlan refused to give up; she wanted to live.
Jiang Yuan wouldn't give up either, but the tractor was completely immobilized, and those agile monsters had already started climbing through the windows, trying to get into the driver's cab.

"Are you an idiot! Jump down now!" Jiang Yuan cursed angrily, while simultaneously slashing at the monster that was frantically rushing towards him.
Ning Yanlan gritted her teeth, then rolled off the car.
Without a word, the two began to run wildly, one after the other.
"Don't stop attacking, attack while running!" Jiang Yuan shouted, waving his knife.
"Gale Cannon!" Ning Yanlan wanted to run, but each burst of spiritual energy would cause her to pause for a moment, which was beyond her control.
A powerful force swept through, sending a group of monsters flying backward.
"Ah!" Ning Yanlan screamed, "Jiang Yuan, save me!"
Jiang Yuan stopped and looked back. He saw that the Earth Bear, which had been blasted away earlier, had returned and was about to smash Ning Yanlan's head with a single blow.
"Depend on!"
With a curse, Jiang Yuanfei lunged forward. His heart told him that it was best to run away, but his subconscious made him take the action to protect Ning Yanlan.
