"Cough cough!"
Like the beginning of chaos, Jiang Yuan's consciousness struggled out of the chaos, and when the first ray of light completely awakened his consciousness, he opened his eyes.
Where is this?
When Jiang Yuan opened his eyes, he saw blue sky and white clouds, as well as a golden gate in the sky.
"Liu Zhaodi!" Jiang Yuan turned to the side and saw Liu Zhaodi sleeping on the vines next to him, her makeup smudged and her face full of fatigue.
Seeing Liu Zhaodi put Jiang Yuan at ease; it was probably this woman who had turned back to save him.
Just as he was about to draw his conclusion, a gentle "hmm" sounded in his ear, followed by a wet tongue licking his face.
"Damn it!" Jiang Yuan was so startled that he sat up abruptly, but the sudden movement tore open his still-healing wound, and the pain intensified.
After a brief moment of shock, he had already clearly seen the creature making the "hmm" sound.

Yes, it's that giant panda I've seen a few times!
"Jiang Yuan, you're finally awake! You know, I was scared to death when I found you!" Liu Zhaodi woke up, but the first thing she did was burst into tears and throw herself into his arms.

"Lost?" Jiang Yuan's facial muscles twitched. This was no joke; that was a divine weapon. Even though it was damaged now, it was still a divine weapon.
"Yes, it's your fault for trying to kick me out. If you had kept me, I might have been able to help you clean up the mess!" Liu Zhaodi wiped away the tears from the corners of her eyes.
"No, I have to go back and find the God-Slaying Spear!" Jiang Yuan struggled to get up, but every movement involved his bones and muscles, and the tearing sensation throughout his body made him gasp in pain.
"You idiot, I've put your things away for you!" Liu Zhaodi said, pressing Jiang Yuan down with a pained expression.
"Really?" Jiang Yuan asked skeptically.
"Here you go!" Liu Zhaodi shoved a bunch of things into his arms angrily, then said sullenly, "I was worried about you all day, and you didn't ask a single question. The first thing you did when you woke up was look for your own things!"
Jiang Yuan pretended not to hear, and only felt relieved after seeing that the God-Slaying Spear and the core that had been exposed were still there.
"Wait a minute, where's my beast source?" Jiang Yuan turned his gaze to the panda beside him, his intuition telling him that this little cutie was very likely the culprit.
But when the gaze swept over the panda, FAST (Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope) provided the answer.
“Earth’s native creature – Giant Panda, Body Tempering Realm – Seventh Rank, Spirit Awakening: 82/100 (Beast Source can be activated).”
"Zhao Di, did you save me?" Jiang Yuan had some guesses in his mind, but he still wanted to ask Liu Zhao Di first.
Liu Zhaodi pouted, then said guiltily, "I didn't intentionally put the soul mark on you. I was just worried something might happen to you, so I did it!"
Upon hearing this, Jiang Yuan gave a wry smile and quickly explained, "I'm not pursuing this, but if you really did save me, then I should definitely thank you!"
"How can I thank you? Will you repay me with your body?" Liu Zhaodi asked expectantly.
Jiang Yuan: "..."
Seeing Jiang Yuan's expression, Liu Zhaodi knew the result without even guessing. She said bitterly, "I knew you had no gratitude whatsoever!"
"Is it really true?" Jiang Yuan asked, glancing at the half-grown panda beside him. The silly creature was still chewing on animal food.
“Last night I led Team One and Team Two to a safe area and rushed back. Following the soul energy imprint, I found you by the lake! When I found you, this giant panda was guarding you, and it was even stealing the red stones from your body!” Liu Zhaodi pointed to the crumbs at the corner of the giant panda’s mouth.
The giant panda seemed to understand, wiping its mouth with its chubby paw before turning its back to the two of them, not letting them see its eating.
"Could this thing have saved me?"
Jiang Yuan vaguely remembered that the ghost bass had rushed ashore due to its violent struggle, and that he had felt like he was being licked by a dog while he was unconscious. Now that he thought about it, it shouldn't have been a dog licking him, but rather the giant panda in front of him.
"What's wrong? Are you still feeling unwell?" Liu Zhaodi jumped down from the vines and came to Jiang Yuan's side to ask with concern.
"It's nothing!" Jiang Yuan shook his head.
"You said you were fine, but I was scared half to death when I found you last night! You had so many wounds, and they were all fatal. I was really afraid you didn't make it!" Liu Zhaodi said, still shaken.
Jiang Yuan glanced around and realized that he had not only changed his clothes, but also had bandages all over his body.
"Did you do this?" Jiang Yuan raised his hand, revealing several layers of bandages on his hand. Besides his hand, there were bandages all over other parts of his body, including his abdomen, waist, and shoulders.
"Um!"
Liu Zhaodi nodded guiltily and whispered, "You were badly injured yesterday, and I felt bad for you, so I just treated your wounds a little!"
"You changed my clothes too?" Jiang Yuan chuckled. If it were a simple procedure, there wouldn't have been any complicated procedures. He was almost wrapped up like a mummy.
