The sound of flowing water woke Jiang Yuan from his sleep. He found himself lying in a bathtub, while Ning Yanlan was lying on the edge of the tub, adding water to it spoonful by spoonful.
"Yanlan, where is this? How did I get here?" Jiang Yuan scratched his head, trying hard to remember. He only remembered that he wanted to spread his divine wings to take Ning Yanlan back, but after failing once, he didn't know why he fainted.
Ning Yanlan stopped what she was doing, looked up and smiled charmingly, then kissed Jiang Yuan without asking for his opinion.
Although Jiang Yuan's mind went blank, he felt that this was Ning Yanlan's biggest initiative. But what happened next surprised him even more. He saw Ning Yanlan step over the bathtub and slowly slide into the water, kissing him while taking off her clothes.
"Could this be a dream?" Jiang Yuan was very skeptical about the reality of the matter.
"Dream on!" Ning Yanlan gasped, slurping a mouthful of saliva as she asked, "If this is a dream, what will you do to me next?"
"Of course, that goes without saying..."
Jiang Yuan had just wrapped his arms around Ning Yanlan's waist when a sharp pain immediately struck him, jolting him out of his dazed state.
"This is not a dream!" Jiang Yuan exclaimed in surprise, but his movements were restricted by Ning Yanlan.
"You're clearly not good enough to fight, yet you're still acting tough. Why aren't you showing off in front of me now that you're seriously injured? Show me your manly prowess!" Ning Yanlan's fair arm was placed in front of her smooth, creamy body, her tone and eyes filled with provocation.
"Wait, what's with this water?" Jiang Yuan finally realized why he was lying in the bathtub—it was filled with a tub full of the "Fountain of Life"!
“That’s right, it’s all from the fountain of life, undiluted!” Ning Yanlan said with a charming smile, her body partially obscuring the source of the drink, making Jiang Yuan feel like he couldn’t resist.
"We should have added some water, otherwise it would have been a waste!" Jiang Yuan was truly powerless; otherwise, one of them would have had to carry his back out today.
"Don't worry, this amount of injury is just right. Did you really think we wouldn't treat these hidden injuries?" Ning Yanlan's tone was somewhat reproachful.
"Yanlan, what happened to those Holy Spirits?" Jiang Yuan asked, puzzled.
