Squeak—Squeak
As Jiang Yuan was pondering how to hunt more monsters, he suddenly felt his body moving forward uncontrollably.
"The road ahead has collapsed!"
It turned out that Ning Yanlan had grabbed the brakes, and there was a three- or four-meter-wide depression not far in front of the motorcycle.
"Jiang Yuan, take your hand away!" Ning Yanlan turned off the car key.

"A mutated monster has appeared!" Jiang Yuan was about to stop when a huge lizard crawled out of the roadside ditch in the distance.
The lizard was quite large, only slightly smaller than a crocodile, with its long, thin tongue flicking in and out of its mouth, making it look extremely eerie.
Ning Yanlan instinctively reached for her gun, but remembering that she had already run out of bullets, she could only silently put it away. "Jiang Yuan, what do we do! I'm out of bullets!"

He changed the direction of his downward slashing Tang sword and dodged it precisely. But at that moment, the giant grass lizard's one-meter-long tail swept across.
A muffled thud came from Jiang Yuan's chest, and he was swept two meters away. The giant grass lizard, not one to back down, spat out another mouthful of venom.
"Spirit Shield!" Ning Yanlan only knew one move, but fortunately, this move blocked the venom.
As Jiang Yuan watched the dark green venom spray onto the light shield with a hissing, corrosive sound, his initial contempt vanished. He realized that this was the apocalypse, not an amusement park, and that the slightest mistake could cost him his life.
"Still looking? Run!" Ning Yanlan pulled Jiang Yuan back as they faced the giant grass lizard.
Jiang Yuan felt his internal organs moving as he stood up, activating his battle stance, and his power began to slowly increase.
"Thank you!" Jiang Yuan said, enduring the pain. The sweep had almost made him faint.
"Forget it!" Ning Yanlan pulled a short dagger from the side of her boot. Although she remained calm, her eyes held a desperate glint. "I don't know if I'll win or not, but I'll probably die before you! Consider it repayment for saving my life!"
After saying that, Ning Yanlan charged towards the giant grass lizard with her short dagger.
In her eyes, ordinary people would be rendered almost powerless after being swept away like that.
