"Run!"
After being untied, both groups of people fled quickly, disappearing from sight in no time.
"Are you alright?" Liu Zhaodi composed herself and continued walking forward with a smile.
"I was just joking with you, I didn't mean to scold you!" Jiang Yuan's heart softened when he saw Liu Zhaodi, who never lost her temper, and he began to explain what had happened earlier to her.
"Have you ever insulted me?" Liu Zhaodi asked with a smile, waving her hand dismissively. "Tch, I didn't take it to heart at all!"
"Really!" Jiang Yuan raised his face and stared at Liu Zhaodi.
Feeling embarrassed by her gaze, Liu Zhaodi blushed and quickly walked forward, saying as she went, "If I lied, you wouldn't comfort me! I might as well not have said anything!"
"I won't offer any consolation! But I can share some of the rewards from the secret realm and the spoils from this battle with you!" Jiang Yuan laughed and chased after him.
"Don't you know you shouldn't flaunt your wealth? Come home with me first, we'll talk about the spoils later!" Liu Zhaodi regained her previous enthusiasm after sensing that Jiang Yuan's tone had softened.
"Liu Zhaodi, are you particularly outgoing and friendly?"
Jiang Yuan, who was being pestered by Liu Zhaodi, asked a soul-searching question.
"I'm not being overly familiar with you. You promised to come home with me for dinner, and now you're just fulfilling your promise!" Liu Zhaodi said, blinking her eyes and acting cute.
"There's no need to do it so early!"
Liu Zhaodi glanced at the time and had a sudden inspiration, saying, "It's not early, it's already 3 pm. We still have some time to go change your clothes!"
"Didn't you say it was a family dinner? It shouldn't be a problem to dress casually, right?" Jiang Yuan asked in surprise.
“Yes, it’s a family dinner, but we still need to be mindful of our image! Otherwise, all those three Divine Bloodstones I spent would be wasted!” Liu Zhaodi nodded repeatedly.
