Yul tilted his head; he had already raised the surrounding barriers, which would automatically block out B City from view.
He explained the reason to Ruan Tian, then scanned her from head to toe before slowly asking:
Why are you so nervous?
Ruan Tian's heart skipped a beat. She didn't want to tell Yu'er the real reason, but only whispered:
"No, do I really look that nervous?"
Yu Er nodded, walked over to Ruan Tian, and looked out the window at the red moon with her.
The red moon outside was huge, but the bigger and redder it was, the more pain Ruan Tian felt in her heart.
If I can find a good spot and let the little white thing keep breathing fire, wouldn't I be invincible?
Ruan Tian couldn't help but sigh, which was noticed by You Er, who had been watching her closely.
"Why are you sighing here? What are you thinking?"
Yu Er pondered for three seconds, then looked at Ruan Tian with an indescribable expression.
It was as if it was silently questioning Ruan Tian, asking how she could have such a strange hobby.
"Hey! What are you thinking!"
Ruan Tian quickly explained for herself:
"I was just looking at the red moon, I had no other intentions!"
But how could Yu'er believe what Ruan Tian said? He continued to stare at Ruan Tian, his beautiful eyes filled with questioning.
"Are you hiding something from me? Just tell me directly, there's no need to keep it a secret."
Ruan Tian thought for a moment, realizing she couldn't hide it any longer, and finally, as You Er had suggested, she spoke her mind:
"Actually, my food cart can be upgraded. It requires crystal cores to upgrade, so every Red Moon is a good time to upgrade."
After saying that, Ruan Tian quickly added an explanation:
"I didn't mean anything by it! I just said it casually, please don't overthink it!"
Yu Er understood what Ruan Tian meant. He lowered his head and thought for a moment, then suddenly reached out and grabbed Ruan Tian's wrist.
"Eh!!"
Ruan Tian was stunned for a moment. You Er pulled Ruan Tian and led her to the underground location.
"Yure, where are you taking me?!"
Yul said, "You'll see when you come with me."
Ruan Tian stopped talking and obediently followed behind You Er. The two of them passed through a hidden door and came down to the underground.
"Wow! I never imagined there was a place like this here!"
Ruan Tian really didn't expect that the seemingly ordinary TV tower actually concealed a huge laboratory underground.
The basement was deserted. Ruan Tian looked around the entrance and was awestruck by the laboratory.
But Yul had no liking for this laboratory.
His gaze was cold, and even his voice carried a hint of chill.
"Welcome to the place where I was born."
