Ruan Tian was stunned for a moment, then quickly realized what was happening.
“I don’t know why,” Ruan Tian raised her hand and scratched her neck, “Madam’s special ability doesn’t seem to work on me.”
As she spoke, a scene of herself and her wife gazing at each other flashed through her mind.
The lady's white eyes almost popped out, but Ruan Tian looked at the lady with an innocent expression, as if nothing had happened.

This time it was Bai Chulan's turn to be surprised. He subconsciously raised his hand and grabbed the iron railing.
"Really? You're not kidding?"

"What are you thinking about?" He didn't care about the dirt on the ground and sat down against the iron fence.
"I'll cook you something delicious!"
Hearing this, he didn't refuse. A little tired, he closed his eyes and said thank you.
"Thank you for your help."
The people in the base are too reliant on Bai Chulan's abilities.

Ruan Tian wasn't a quiet person; she chattered away with Bai Chulan the whole time.
But he didn't find it annoying; he just listened very attentively, occasionally smiling and nodding to offer a few comments.
Ruan Tian: "Bai Chulan, let me tell you, ghosts pass by here at night!"
"Wow," Bai Chulan played along, pretending to be startled.
But Ruan Tian quickly changed the subject, saying:
"And another thing, I've trained a suicide rat team, and the rats are incredibly obedient to me!"
Bai Chulan chuckled softly, finding release from the pent-up emotions he had been suppressing these past few days with Ruan Tian.
He experienced for the first time what "healing" meant.
When I'm with Ruan Tian, it feels like I don't need to think about anything; I just need to clear my mind and listen to her talk quietly.
After finishing the meal, Bai Chulan's fatigue was relieved.
He suddenly turned around, his long, slender, pale fingers grabbing Ruan Tian's wrist, and blurted out a bombshell:
"Ruan Tian, let's elope."
