Artificial Life 2

Artificial Life 2

The Selmes is a luxury cruise ship that was put into operation seven years ago. It has a length of 300m and a gross tonnage of 15.23 tons. It has a total of 2,000 rooms and can accommodate 3,000 crew members and passengers. The ship has an iconic lobby, 10 restaurants and a multi-functional performance hall, as well as a swimming pool, game room, entertainment room and other facilities. It is a famous luxury cruise ship.

This is a superficial introduction. However, as someone who operates on the dirty side of society, Bourbon naturally knows more than ordinary people. The cruise ship is nominally docked in a small island country in the Pacific, and everyone has their own guesses about its actual ownership. In addition, it has been operating on the high seas and people can only board the ship with an invitation letter... It is said that it is involved in multiple crimes of murder, kidnapping, human trafficking and gambling, but because of the game between various forces, the Selmes has been at large, accumulating countless blood and sins in the past seven years.

"On the Selmus?" Bourbon raised his eyebrows. He always looked cold and shrewd in the organization. "Does the organization have any connections there?"

"Don't be impatient, Bourbon," Vermouth teased and touched her hair, but from her position, the witch was also vaguely wary of the people present, "The Selmes is involved in many things, even if it is an organization, the leverage it can use there is limited," she cast her eyes on Rum, "Isn't that what I said, Rum?"

"That's right," Rum kept smiling, looking no different from an ordinary middle-aged uncle. Binga next to him crossed his arms and looked at other members of the organization without disguising his arrogance. "So, when the organization arrives there, it should follow the local customs and act according to the rules," he paused, "We want to participate in the auction."

"Auction?" Keel, who had been silent the whole time, asked in surprise, "A few of us?"

"It's tentatively decided to be Bourbon, Vermouth, and you, Gil," Rum answered kindly. He glanced at Miravo inconspicuously, "Originally, Miravo and Binga were going to go too—"

"I refused," Christina's voice was gentle but unyielding. Binga, who had been standing upright beside Rum, heard this voice and felt as if he was pricked by something. He frowned and showed a disgusted expression on his face, especially after Christina showed him a friendly smile. He took two steps back with a bigger reaction. "The sea breeze is not good for a lady's skin," she fiddled with the ends of her hair, exuding a nonchalant temperament. "And I haven't seen my dear for a long time," she sighed sadly, the emotions in her blue eyes were obscure, "It's a little... a little unbearable..."

"I understand," Amuro Toru quickly took over the conversation to prevent a dull silence. Everyone knew what Miravo's intolerance meant. She vented her emotions regardless of whether the person was a colleague or not. Looking at Binga's reaction, it was clear that she had already started a round of games. When Gin was here, Binga had been eager to challenge him. After Gin's accident, Miravo was on the rise again. The ambitious Binga must have wanted to strike first, and ended up delivering it to Miravo. Gin's iron-clad thinking was understandable, but Miravo was really unpredictable. "Then how much autonomy do we have regarding the auction?"

Rum's remaining eye gave them a meaningful look before he slowly spoke, "regardless of the cost." The determination in his tone made people feel depressed. If they didn't get it through the normal auction, then the only option left was... "The organization only needs results."
