Interlude: Thief Police Officer 16
"Follow my instructions," Ishii Kazuki quietly poked his head out. Takagi Shigeru parked the car in the parking lot of a nearby restaurant. Several people took turns to monitor the apartment mentioned in the text message. "Have Kenji and Matsuda arrived yet?"
The apartment is not very old, but it is not new either. It has only ten floors at its highest. It would have looked okay if there was not that skyscraper next to it that almost blocks out all the light. Some things cannot be compared. Once compared, it is sad.
"You dare to act on your own!" Matsuda Jinpei's gritted teeth voice came from the phone, "This is a bomber! Outsiders, get out of here!"
Hagiwara Kenji's words were much gentler than his childhood friend's, but the meaning was similar. "Ikki, squad leader, Takagi-kun, and Miss Erenikka, you'd better stay where you are. The professionals are on their way."
"He said so, let's just wait a little bit." The sound of drifting and sirens came from the other end of the phone. Ishii Kazuki listened to the advice and stayed in the car, while holding down the restless Erenika and Oleg. "Don't be impatient, Miss Erenika," he lowered his voice with obvious hints, "Now you just need to be patient, Pramya, I'll be back soon."
Elenika looked at him steadily, said nothing, and leaned back in the back seat to wait. From this angle, Ishii Kazuki could see her clenched fists at her sleeves and her slightly trembling body.
"Um..." Takagi Wataru, who was basically the driver, scratched his face embarrassedly, "How is the informant that Inspector Ishii found now..."
"Don't worry," Ishii Kazuki still looked heartless, his brown eyes deliberately widened, and he answered with a particularly innocent look, "I asked my acquaintance, Inspector Eguchi, to protect them both. Isn't that thoughtful?"
Takagi Wataru looked away in embarrassment.
In theory, my senior colleague from the Metropolitan Police Department who led me was a famous thief in Tokyo, and even at the top of the pyramid in the third-hand business. When catching criminals, he would directly look for information in the thieves' den, and after the crime, he would tell his colleagues about the person who provided the clues to boost their performance.
As a police officer, how should I react?
"Just bear with it." Idahang patted his shoulder, his movements full of accustomed vicissitudes, "It's useful anyway."
In the eyes of the police academy team, Ishii Kazuki is a cow cat, who is naughty, restless, courageous and active. He pretends to be pitiful when something big happens, but if you forgive him with a soft heart, he will immediately make things difficult for you. He always digs a small road next to the main road, under the euphemism of taking the unusual way. Date Ko still remembers that during his graduation internship, Ishii Kazuki complained about his seniors in the Metropolitan Police Department who relied on their seniority and had no police qualities at all. They had almost lost their vigilance, and they were about to have a quarrel. As a result, Ishii Kazuki slapped fifty or sixty wallets on the table in an instant, and the First Investigation Section was almost wiped out.
Fifty or sixty! You can steal, but how do you stuff so much on you? Date Ko swore that Ishii Kazuki did not suddenly gain 20 pounds that day, and there was no four-dimensional pocket on his stomach.
In short, the police academy team has already understood that Ishii Kazuki could do anything, so just keep calm.
"Hey, Matsuda," Ishii Kazuki began to harass the best bomb disposal expert by phone, "Hey, □□, how's your analysis going?"
"Not so fast!" Matsuda Jinpei replied unhappily, "We need to analyze the liquid composition and make the neutralizer. Besides, most of Pramya's bombs can be activated remotely. Even though you grabbed the remote control, who knows if she has any backup plans!"
Ishii Kazuki grinned, "Hey hey hey - I thought Matsuda would definitely come up with a solution. After all, you are the most dexterous one among us..."
Before he could finish his compliment, Ishii Kazuki keenly noticed the reflection of the building next to him. He squinted his eyes and caught a glimpse of gold through the window glass.
“Here I come.”
The target appeared in the sight.
