Symbiosis 23

Symbiosis 23

Ichinose Saku slid down with his back to the moon.

He tried hard to control his uncontrollable left leg and the urge to look down. After seeing his biological father finally touch the bottle of wine that he had added ingredients to through the glass door, the boy originally planned to continue staying on the balcony. However, the weather was as bad as his original family. The piercing pain in his left leg that was broken under the stool raised by his biological father a few days ago made him unable to feel at ease even if he fainted. Ichinose Saku simply gritted his teeth and climbed up the water pipe with the anger of leaving this home even if he died.

But the height of the seven-story building and the cold water pipes still made him suffer. Ichinose Saku was soon blown away by the wind. It was not comfortable outdoors in Hokkaido in November, let alone for a 9-year-old injured boy. No matter how Ichinose Saku cursed his parents in his heart, he slipped when he was on the first or second floor and fell directly into the snow.

Thief God——

The sound of Ichinose Saku's cough was lighter than the wind. The boy chose to crawl in the dark. When he couldn't stand up, he didn't stand up. He just used his hands to start wriggling on the snow. His thin clothes could not block the biting cold wind. His consciousness began to gradually blur. His body felt unusually warm due to hypothermia, and the cursing in his heart became incoherent.

Tsk...it was my birthday four days ago, and that guy lied to me and said that as long as I was good, my mom would come back to be with me...Goodbye, my mom can only be with me when she comes back. He thought my birthday wish was for my mom to come back, but actually it was to kill that guy. White mist came out of Ichinose Saku's mouth, and the strength of his fingers' struggle began to weaken. The traces on the snow were covered by new snow again. The boy lay down in a place where the moonlight could not reach, and he seemed to hear the sound of someone running in his ears.

Don't come back...Mom...Escape, you have to live well...

"Bang——" "Hiss...what..."

Ichinose Saku felt something hit his waist, and the force briefly brought him back to consciousness. The boy subconsciously looked up, and right in front of him was a black metal object that he had only seen on TV shows, and a man who was trying to get up - probably because he was half buried in the snow, the stranger didn't see it and tripped.

Just as Ichinose Saku's sluggish thinking was still trying to come to a conclusion, the stranger opposite him reacted first, "No! Don't move!" The boy fell into a warm embrace, which made him sigh with satisfaction. The man seemed to be trying to cover him with his coat. Ichinose Saku keenly smelled a faint smell of rust on the clothes, which made him feel a strange sense of dislocation. What did this man who even threatened with a strong appearance but was actually weak do? "And don't yell! Come with me! Got it!"

Ichinose Saku opened his mouth slightly, but his hoarse throat made it impossible for him to make any sound. He simply used weakness to show his cooperation and let the man take him to a nearby car. The long-lost warmth reawakened the pain, and the boy's left leg was still protesting against its own distortion.

“What the hell is going on…” The forehead of the man sitting in the driver’s seat was covered in sweat. Ichinose Saku had to try very hard to hear his panicked mumblings, “Why…why did someone die…was anyone seen when I was running? I can’t take responsibility for human lives…” His eyes met with the boy in the passenger seat, “And someone actually saw me. What should I do…wait! Why are you injured like this!”

You ask God.

Ichinose Saku rolled his eyes and simply did something he had always wanted to do but had not been able to do before.

I feel dizzy.
