The Rebellion of Inheritance - Mason Wheatley 8
"Kelver," Mason walked over directly when he saw the red-haired man coming out, leaving a group of scientific researchers like quails, "How is the research going?"
"Mescal," Alvin said, no surprise on his face. He nodded to the person who introduced him. "The breeding of Shengmen No. 1 is very successful. Let's go to the office to check the data."
It was not until the two of them entered the office that the group outside recovered and started chatting.
"Kelver is really amazing. Mescal looks so creepy, but he is not hurt at all..."
"After all, he was recruited by Mescal. Maybe the more intimidating Mescal is, the more secure he will feel..."
"But it's true that Mescal thinks highly of Kelver. As soon as Kelver came out, Mescal's eyes were on him. God knows he ignored us for a long time."
"It's all about strength. Strength. Let's not talk about anything else. Ordinary people would have psychological problems if they stayed in Kelver's lab for half a day. Kelver even looked like he could sleep with a bug in his arms..."
"Shengmen No. 1 was purchased by Mescal..."
"Hiss, they are enough..."
.
Even in the winery, a place of rebellion and madness that ignores all social moral ethics, Mescal and Kelver are still regarded as a perfect match.
Unfortunately, the two people in the office did not have the cold and crazy conversation that others imagined. In fact, they just sat opposite each other, staring at each other silently.
How strange, Alvin thought.
How strange, Mason thought.
Theoretically, it's just two people wearing the same clothes meeting each other, and it feels the same. Not to mention Ishii Kazuki and Kirigou Nozomi, they have been traveling at different times because they are greedy for the debuff of the White Night Walk.
"Hiss," Mason realized he was pinching Alvin's face when he heard his tiny cry of pain. He let go of his hand calmly, "Pain is something that really exists independently."
"You hurt both me and Artes," Alvin said with accusation in his green eyes, "Why would you do this again when you already knew about this?"
Don't tell me you didn't record the test results of the previous vest operation. Alvin's eyes seemed to have written a line of words directly. Mason was speechless for being able to interpret his thoughts so clearly. "I remembered it, but..."
It really feels strange. Mason is rarely at a loss for words, and is almost a vest running an independent subsystem. However, when we meet, trust and relaxation still surge in my heart, and we tacitly understand each other as if we are the same person (which we are).
"Anyway," Mason stopped his divergent thoughts and forced the topic back on track, "I have hacked the surrounding surveillance, and the eavesdropping devices are no longer effective."
"The prototype has come out," Alvin understood. "Aters took the brain scan to look at it for a few days, and we barely built a model, but it will take a long time to perfect it, and it needs a lot of data support."
"Leave it to me," Mason gave a faint smile, but it was fleeting, "It's okay."
"Rum is going to make a mistake soon."
