Chapter 67 Letting Go

Calling it a prison isn't quite accurate, as the rooms weren't bad and were kept very clean. However, for those locked up inside and unable to get out, it was indeed undoubtedly a "prison."

As expected of a princess's residence, it has a lot of rooms. Even with so many men captured, they still managed to ensure that each man had his own private room.

But will these people get used to such humiliation of being manipulated just because they have comfortable rooms and live a life of luxury?

Shen Xingmian felt that most people would be very resistant.

After all, living comfortably and happily is what most people pursue. Without freedom and suffering humiliation, how can one be happy?

Then she witnessed the diversity of species.

When the guards at the gate saw that the princess was about to go in, they immediately made way for her. After they went in, they gathered everyone together and said that they would give them some compensation and let them leave.

Most people had calm expressions on their faces, without a trace of disbelief, which was completely different from what Shen Xingmian had imagined.

If you observe carefully, you will find that these people do react, but their emotions are carefully hidden.

They were afraid that the princess had come up with some new way to torment them, and that once they happily accepted it, new tortures would be waiting for them.

I'm really scared.

The eldest princess had used similar methods before; she always enjoyed torturing their bodies as well as their minds.

If anyone shows signs of happiness, or if she notices anything amiss, they will become her next target for torment.

In short, it's extremely perverted.

Several people rushed over and knelt down beside Shen Yun, pleading and crying:

"Your Highness, I don't want to leave. I truly love you, unlike those other people. If I leave this princess's residence and never see you again, how can I live? Waaah!"

After saying that, she started sobbing.

Another person nodded and said, "That's right, we all truly love Your Highness, please don't send us away!"

Shen Yunting didn't know what the eldest princess would feel if she were here, but she herself was not in a good mood.

Hmm, my feet are itching a bit. I want to kick those two far away.

Shen Xingmian could see her mother's restraint and knew that she was suppressing the urge to beat someone. She wanted to step forward to help, but before she could make a move, the boy who had just been rescued stepped forward and separated the two people from Shen Yunting.

"Her Highness has made her decision, and there is no room for discussion. Now, hurry back, take your usual rewards, and leave immediately."

If anyone is still there after a cup of tea, don't blame me for being impolite!

His face was cold, and his expression and voice were fierce, especially with the "Princess" standing behind him, giving off a feeling of someone who is using someone else's power to intimidate others.

Those people knew that he and the eldest princess were usually at odds, but now he was able to speak on her behalf, which meant that they must have reached some kind of agreement that he couldn't tell them. Maybe he had gained her exclusive favor.

That's probably true!

They immediately scattered and went to collect their belongings.

Seeing that they finally moved, the boy breathed a sigh of relief. He had spent a considerable amount of time with these people and knew that most of them, like himself, were forced to stay here.

Having the opportunity to help them is a way of doing something that pleases them.

Shen Xingmian stepped forward and handed him a purse containing several heavy silver ingots. Even if he wasn't extravagant, it would be enough for him to live on for several years.

"Big brother, take these and leave quickly. We have things to do, so let's leave this place alone."

The boy was about to refuse, but seeing that they really didn't want these things and were in a hurry to leave, he quickly bowed.

"Thank you both for your kindness. Sun Xiyao will always remember this great kindness and will definitely be a good person in the future."

As she walked away, Shen Xingmian turned back and waved to him, smiling as she said, "Big brother, you've always been a very good person, extremely good. Just be the person you want to be. I wish you all the best in the future!"

After saying that, she pulled her mother away quickly.

After showing their tokens to the guards at the gate and confirming that they were allowed to leave, the two headed straight for the storeroom.

This time, there was no obstruction, and we arrived at the warehouse door smoothly.

After dismissing the guards, Shen Xingmian first threw the princess into the storeroom, then stuffed her mother into her spatial storage. Once inside the storeroom, she quickly released her mother and put the princess back in.

After doing all that, she almost wanted to give herself a thumbs up.

It's so smooth!

The CPU hasn't burned out yet, which shows she's very intelligent, hehe.

Sure enough, just as they had predicted, in just a few days, the warehouse was filled with half more treasures.

Needless to say, gold and silver are readily available, along with jade, coral, fabrics, and famous paintings—virtually everything imaginable.

Well, standing at the pinnacle of power is indeed quite exhilarating.

Shen Xingmian once again thoroughly enjoyed himself.

The space was about to be filled, so she could only move things around as she went, packing them tightly to make room for more.

We still have to go to the palace; we can't leave without it.

When they left the princess's residence, the men who had been trapped there for so long had already left, and even the few who had said they "couldn't leave Her Highness the princess" had disappeared.

That's good too; at least their efforts weren't in vain.

The mother and daughter smiled at each other and headed towards the palace again, arriving in the afternoon.

Unfortunately, we wasted quite a bit of time at the princess's residence.

Fortunately, the harvest was not small.
