The sudden sound outside the door was the sound of the TV in the living room being suddenly turned on.
Qin Nuo paused as he reached for the handle.
The Blood Eye Ghost reminded: "I am aware of its presence, and it must have noticed it too."
"Don't panic, that half-ghost is even weaker than the masked ghost."
Qin Nuo said, "I understand. I'm just worried about Tang Ming's safety."
After a moment of silence, Qin Nuo decisively opened the door and walked out.
In the living room, the TV was playing an advertisement. Tang Ming was sitting on the sofa. Although his eyes were fixed on the TV, his expression seemed unnatural.
"Old Tang, I came as soon as I heard the call."
"The door access control downstairs was broken, so I had to climb up from the big banyan tree in the backyard."
Tang Ming twitched his lips and said, "It's okay. The access control is always broken. You'll get used to it."
"What do you want to talk to me about? Why are you so anxious? Can't you tell me on the phone?" Qin Nuo said while paying attention to his surroundings.
"Come and sit down first, I...I'll tell you slowly." Tang Ming's mouth corners became unsteady. Although he was smiling, layers of cold sweat seeped out of his forehead.
In this situation, anyone who is not a fool can see that something is wrong.
Qin Nuo did not find any trace of the other person in the living room.
Tang Ming repeated it again and asked Qin Nuo to come over and sit down.
At the same time, his eyes kept moving downwards.
Qin Nuo glanced at Tang Ming's feet. There was no space under the sofa and the coffee table was clearly visible. Why did Tang Ming keep pointing at his feet?
"Okay, why don't you seem quite right today? Are you feeling unwell? Do you want me to take you to see a doctor?"
Qin Nuo said as he walked over.
The moment he sat down, Qin Nuo suddenly realized something was wrong.
The sunlight coming in from the balcony was not sufficient, but Tang Ming's shadow was very clear as he sat on the sofa.
Is the shadow fake?
The other party also noticed Qin Nuo's abnormal behavior at that moment.
The shadow at Tang Ming's feet suddenly jumped up and turned into two spikes, stabbing towards Qin Nuo's forehead and heart respectively.
Qin Nuo's reaction was not slow either, or rather, it was because he had been keeping his body tense and his nerves alert. When the stab came, he dodged sideways and quickly created distance.
"Lao Qin, behind!" Tang Ming shouted.
Qin Nuo turned around, and another shadow on the ground wrapped around him like a python, and the thorns pressed against his throat.
"Your reaction is not slow."
A voice was heard, and a man slowly walked out of the bedroom.
This person was none other than Ye Ming, who had given them tutoring lessons!
Ye Ming stared at Qin Nuo closely, as if he were prey caught in a net, with a sick smile on his face. "Or rather, this isn't a human reaction. It's because of the ghost inside you."
Qin Nuo looked at Ye Ming without much surprise. He was among the targets of his suspicion. When he contradicted him in the classroom, the latter's eyes made him feel a little strange.
"Isn't this Teacher Ye Ming? It's been a long time since we last met. What's going on? Is this a magic trick?"
With his throat pressed against him, Qin Nuo asked without changing his expression.
"Wouldn't I be able to detect the little tricks you two are playing?"
Ye Ming sneered, staring at Qin Nuo with naked eyes: "It took me a lot of effort to find you. Those students in front of me were all killed by you."
"This is my first time being forced into a horror game, and I ended up making a contract with a ghost. Are you lucky, or just unlucky?"
Qin Nuo swallowed and said, "Teacher Ye, is there any misunderstanding here? Maybe we can sit down and talk about it. There's no need to be so impulsive, right?"
Ye Ming smiled coldly: "You can continue to play dumb, but when I tear you apart, the ghost inside you will split apart on its own."
Tang Ming's face was pale, and his voice was trembling: "Murder is against the law. Teacher Ye, you are also a police officer, right? Don't be impulsive!"
"It seems you haven't figured out the world now."
"Ever since the horror game appeared, the dark side of this world has been completely exposed. Many orders have been broken. Many people fight for the horror game every day, and countless people die."
"This cannot be stopped at all. The only thing they can do is cover up this dark side and deceive other innocent people, like you."
"I will kill you now, leaving not a hair behind. No one will be able to investigate me."
"The students in front of you are good examples."
Tang Ming was dumbfounded. He looked at Qin Nuo, his eyes instantly reddened with guilt. "Old Qin, I was afraid of death and dragged you into this. I thought he just wanted something, so he let us go..."
Qin Nuo ignored Tang Ming and suddenly asked, "Does anyone else know about this besides you?"
Ye Ming laughed sarcastically: "There's only one piece of prey, how could I be so stupid as to share it with others?"
"So, you're the only one who knows I'm half-ghost."
Qin Nuo nodded in realization. Unlike Tang Ming's nearly collapsed expression, a hint of a smile appeared on the corner of his mouth. "I'm afraid you alone can't handle me, Teacher Ye."
Ye Ming adjusted his glasses.
"I am a cautious person. I will make sufficient calculations before taking action."
"As a student who was forced into a horror game, the fact that you were able to form a contract with a ghost is probably just a lucky coincidence."
"You're an eighteen-year-old student with no experience in killing people, and I already have the names of no fewer than twenty people in my possession. I've also sensed the demon inside you before, but it's injured and no longer a threat."
"What's more, your body is now entangled by my shadow. If I move a finger, your throat will be pierced."
