Qin Nuo's expression changed, and he naturally took a step back. He took out the bone-crushing hammer without leaving a trace, hid it behind his back, and smiled slightly. "So you are Xiaolong's parents. Your child is doing well in school. If you have anything to ask me, you don't have to block the toilet door. How about we go to my office to talk?"
Yesterday, a human bone nail cracked Tang Xiaolong's forehead. No need to ask, it must be the other party's parents who came to settle the score.
The two men didn't speak. Their two dead faces stared at Qin Nuo, and the spreading corpse spots gave people a feeling of suffocation and death.
They took a step forward and forced Qin Nuo into the bathroom.
"We came all the way to school to apologize to you."
Qin Nuo was stunned for a moment, thinking he had misheard: "Apologize... for what?"
"Our child has a naughty and ignorant temper. We are sorry for offending you and causing you trouble. You were right to educate him. We hope to receive your forgiveness."
The two men had cold faces, but their tone was full of apology, and they even had a faint fear of Qin Nuo.
Qin Nuo had not expected this plot. He had already prepared to swing the bone-breaking hammer, but this sudden apology caught him off guard.
"Aren't you angry that your child has become like that?" Qin Nuo asked. The injuries caused by the bone-breaking hammer are permanent and cannot be healed.
"He deserves it. If you still can't accept our apology, we are willing to bear your anger on behalf of the child." The two said, their swollen faces moving slightly.
Although he was doubtful, Qin Nuo still replied: "No need, as long as the child knows his mistakes and corrects them, it's fine. I'm not a narrow-minded person. Let's leave it at that."
When the couple heard this, the traces of movement on their pale faces became even more pronounced, as if expressing gratitude.
"Then I won't bother you anymore, Mr. Liang."
The two men bowed slightly and nodded, then walked out of the bathroom. When Qin Nuo came out, they had disappeared.
"How could a parent not feel heartbroken when their child was injured? These two must be very angry, but they seem to be very afraid of me, afraid of retaliation, so they went to my house to apologize."
Qin Nuo was of course very clear that the one who was afraid was not him, but Liang Zisu.
What did Liang Zisu do to make them so wary?
Qin Nuo was puzzled and returned to his office. Sitting at his desk, he obtained a list of students from the previous sixth grade class one from the school information.
Qin Nuo likes to remember some simple but key things in his mind, and A Tu's name on the performance list last night was one of them.
He scanned the computer screen, looking at the list of Class One, Grade Six, for nearly half an hour, until his eyes were a little sore. Finally, he found the names of those little kids from a student list from ten years ago.
"Ten years ago, they were students from the 11th acting class. Their appearance and height haven't changed. They disappear during the day and only come out at night. Although they are imprisoned by a curse, there is no painful punishment. What is the purpose of the person who cast the curse?"
While Qin Nuo was thinking, he printed out a copy of the information of these little kids and put it in his textbook.
"Except for the child named Yanan, we have information about the other kids. Let's go back to the performance room tonight and learn more about the child named Yanan."
When work becomes boring, time will pass relatively quickly. Qin Nuo spent his time in the teaching building in a daze, and in the blink of an eye it was time to go home from school in the afternoon.
Qin Nuo took the information about Ah Tu and the other kids and returned to his dormitory. It was getting dark, and the light outside the balcony was dim and hazy.
Qin Nuo planned to go to the cafeteria to finish his meal first, but just as he was about to leave, he saw Teacher Liu coming back with a big bag of fresh meat and vegetables.
"Xiao Liang, are you going to the cafeteria? There's no need to be so troublesome. Just go to the teacher's room to eat and try the teacher's cooking." Teacher Liu seemed very enthusiastic, or it could be said that Liang Zisu was his most proud student. He opened the door and invited Qin Nuo in.
Qin Nuo glanced at the dimness in the room and subconsciously refused: "No, it's too much trouble for the teacher. I'll just go to the cafeteria and have a couple of bites."
"You promised to be diligent before, but now you don't want to anymore. Do you think the teacher's house is dirty?"
Teacher Liu's face was like a piece of necrotic bark. There was no smile on his face, and he looked indescribably terrifying.
"Don't you still want to take care of my granddaughter? Why can't you help the teacher with such a small favor?"
He stood there holding the bag, his body hunched over and looking frail, but the ghostly aura he emitted made the door frame on one side fall off layer by layer as if it had been gnawed by termites.
"Teacher, I just don't want to cause any trouble. How can I mind it being dirty?"
"If you don't mind the trouble, then come and try your cooking skills, teacher." Qin Nuo said with a smile.
Hearing this, Teacher Liu's expression relaxed a little, and he opened the door and walked in.
Qin Nuo followed behind, not knowing whether Teacher Liu had good eyesight or was afraid of light. The light from the bulb in the room was pitifully dim, and could only vaguely illuminate the furniture in the room, while some corners were completely dark.
"Just sit down and take a moment. The teacher will be done soon." Teacher Liu poured a cup of hot water and placed it in front of Qin Nuo. Then she tied her scarf around her neck and carried the bag of fresh flesh and blood into the kitchen.
Qin Nuo didn't pick up the disposable cup. Instead, he looked around. The room felt very damp, with a faint musty smell. There was also a strange stench in the air.
On one wall, there are several photo frames containing photos of Teacher Liu and her family. Although they are called family, they are actually only photos of her and her granddaughter. The girl's parents are missing and Teacher Liu has never mentioned them.
What's strange is that Teacher Liu's face is clearly visible in the photo frame, but his granddaughter's face is blurry, as if it were covered with a layer of mosaic.
