The temperature in the house dropped sharply, and a resentful ghostly aura filled the air. After the doors and windows were closed, the hall became dim and cold.
A petite black shadow appeared under the door and window. The black cat on the cabinet suddenly meowed twice, stood up and jumped into the arms of the black shadow.
The black shadow stared at Qin Nuo with resentment in his eyes.
Qin Nuo looked around and said to the middle-aged woman, "Auntie, is your daughter a little autistic?"
The middle-aged woman brewed a pot of tea, poured two cups, drank one herself, and said lightly: "My daughter doesn't like the sun."
"Or the sun will kill her."
Qin Nuo was slightly startled and asked, "Are you sick?"
He glanced at the black shadow. The reason why he couldn't see the other person clearly was that she was always covered by a layer of black air of resentment. Only her eyes could penetrate the black air.
The girl's eyes were lifeless, and when she stared at people, she looked like a dead person.
"It's a rare photodermatosis. When exposed to slightly stronger light, the skin becomes sensitive and inflamed. If left untreated for a long time, it can even cause breathing difficulties and blindness."
"So, my daughter has to use these medical devices and drugs all the time, otherwise the consequences will be disastrous."
The middle-aged woman blew on it, took a sip of tea, and put the ceramic teacup back on the table.
"This disease has caused her to become autistic. All her activities are confined to this house. She has never even stepped out of the door. She has no friends and can only express simple emotions. Her mind is as pure as a three-year-old child."
Qin Nuo looked over there again. It seemed that because of the lack of light, the ghostly aura surrounding the girl gradually dissipated, revealing a little skin on her hands and feet.
It was like skin that had been severely burned and then scabbed for a long time. Some flesh was blood-red, and just a little bit was exposed, which was enough to make people shudder, and one could imagine the whole picture from just one glimpse of its horror.
Qin Nuo's eyes twitched and he suddenly looked away. The girl's eyes fixed on him and never moved away.
The middle-aged woman took out a photo from nowhere and pushed it in front of Qin Nuo.
The above is a photo of a middle-aged woman and her daughter. The girl in the photo has two ponytails. The veins on her fair skin are visible. There is a slight smile on her little face, but her eyes lack some wisdom.
It can be seen that although their daughter's fate has suffered injustice, the mother and daughter have not given up on life, but instead treat it optimistically. This can be seen from the careful dressing of their daughter and the doting smile.
"Isn't it beautiful?" asked the middle-aged woman.
"My sister is very cute." Qin Nuo nodded.
"Then can you imagine her like this now?"
Qin Nuo was speechless.
"I dress up every day, wearing beautiful clothes and heavy makeup. It's not dirty as outsiders think, but because I want to wear it for my daughter."
"I used to be a dance teacher. My daughter was home alone and she always looked forward to me coming home dressed nicely. Only then would she smile a little."
"Although it's rare, it's enough for me. Fate is unfair, but at least it gave me a daughter I love."
The middle-aged woman said faintly, staring absentmindedly at the pale yellow tea in the cup.
Qin Nuo knew that some things could not be avoided. A tragedy could destroy a person and a family. He said directly: "Is it because of that scumbag that you have become like this..."
The middle-aged woman looked up at Qin Nuo with a frightening look in her eyes. "That day, the dance studio classes were very tight. I locked the doors and windows and asked my daughter to stay home. My daughter likes quietness very much. After I left, she would always take out her books and study word by word. She was destined not to be able to follow the pace of other children her age, but she also tried hard to keep up."
"After I left, your father, Qin Bei, was lingering outside my house. He looked very bad, but seemed quite frantic. After pacing around for a while, he pried open a window in the backyard and entered the house."
"In the hall, he searched everything he could and found some money, but that didn't satisfy him, so he went upstairs."
"My daughter was in her room. When she heard the noise, she thought I was back and ran out of the room happily. But she saw a scary-looking stranger. She was terrified and ran back to her room to hide."
"Your father heard the noise, came into the room, and found my daughter in the corner of the wardrobe."
"My daughter hid in a corner, not daring to make a sound or resist. Your father was worried about attracting the neighbors, so he tied her up and threw her on the bed. While searching, he pulled open a corner of the curtains, and the light just happened to shine on my daughter. It was noon, and the sun was blazing..."
"Your father noticed something was wrong with my daughter, but he ignored it. Even though he saw her skin was inflamed and burning, he found some machines in the cabinet, took them all, and left."
"After I finished work, I saw this scene on my mobile phone surveillance camera and rushed home as fast as I could. My daughter had fainted and her skin was burned all over her body, with her face being the worst affected."
"I tried my best to find potions, but they were all smashed by your father. The important medical equipment was also taken away by your father as valuables."
"I covered her with a black cloth and rushed her to the village hospital. On the way, she said she couldn't breathe and kept saying a lot, saying she wanted to see the beautiful clothes I wore and eat the meals I cooked. By the time we arrived at the hospital, my daughter was already dead..."
Something glistening was dripping from the corners of the middle-aged woman's eyes. Recalling these things was like a dagger piercing deep into her heart.
