Early in the morning, when Qin Nuo woke up, it was just dawn and the clock showed half past six.
After a quick wash and leaving the living room, Qin Yushi had just gotten up and was wearing pink piggy pajamas.
She was a little surprised to see Qin Nuo: "Why are you awake so early? You look like you didn't sleep well last night?"
"Fortunately, six hours of sleep is enough for me." Qin Nuo rubbed his sore eyes.
"Then you sit for a while. I'll go out and buy some breakfast and be back soon." Qin Yushi took the basket and hurried out of the room.
The breakfast Qin Yushi bought for her was all Qin Nuo's favorite. There was also some cereal she added to the soy milk. These flavors were also known to her.
Although this was ultimately a task that was done on purpose, there was no doubt that Qin Yushi was indeed the person who knew Qin Nuo best in the real world.
"After lunch, I'll take you for a check-up. It's a simple process and you can get the physical examination report." Qin Yushi said as she tied an apron.
"How's the report over there?" Qin Nuo asked.
"The results seem to be out, I'm waiting too." Qin Yushi said.
Qin Nuo didn't ask any more questions and continued to look at the book in his hand. Qin Yushi noticed the content of the book and asked with a smile: "When did you start to like reading books like Psychological Crime?"
"I remember you used to be very disgusted with these books?"
"I don't know either. Thriller games have allowed me to discover a lot of interesting things."
"I wonder why I haven't discovered such a good book before?" Qin Nuo said as he flipped through the book in his hand.
Qin Yushi hesitated to speak and returned to the kitchen.
After lunch, Qin Yushi asked Qin Nuo to change clothes and get ready to go out. When she arrived at the closet, she found that all the clothes in it had been washed and neatly arranged.
Qin Nuo picked one at random, went downstairs and out the door. A black Highlander was already parked there. In the driver's seat was a man in a suit and sunglasses.
"Get in the car." Qin Yushi opened the car door.
"Why does this posture feel a bit like kidnapping?"
Qin Nuo got in the car, which drove away quickly. About ten minutes later, he got out of the car and found a private clinic in front of him.
It looked ordinary, with many elderly women sitting inside. Qin Nuo turned around and looked at Qin Yushi who had just gotten off the bus. "Is this the team your organization created specifically to check my health?"
Qin Yushi just nodded and walked in.
After sitting in the waiting area for a while, a middle-aged man in a white coat came out, greeted Qin Nuo with a smile, and then took him to do some normal physical examinations.
A nurse with a ponytail, looked quite young, wore a mask, and her glasses looked pretty, but seemed very cold.
He took out two tubes and said, "I need two drops of your blood."
"Why two drops of blood?"
"One drop is yours, and one drop is for your right hand."
The Blood Eye Ghost was naturally unhappy: "You want my blood? These humans seem to be treating me like a guinea pig."
But for Qin Nuo's sake, he endured it and took out a drop of dark blood from his right hand.
The nurse took the blood sample and turned away, leaving Qin Nuo to wait outside.
Qin Nuo had no intention of sitting down. The place was filled with a pungent smell of alcohol, which made him feel very uncomfortable.
Qin Yushi seemed to have something to do, so she reminded him not to wander around and to come back on time, and then went back to work.
Qin Nuo walked out of the clinic with his hands in his pockets. When he went to the supermarket to buy a bottle of mineral water, he glanced back, took the water without paying any attention and left.
A figure followed Qin Nuo stealthily, observing him secretly. As soon as Qin Nuo stopped, he hid aside in panic, looking clumsy.
Anyone who is not an idiot can find him with this tracking method.
Qin Nuo took a sip of water, put the remaining half of the mineral water on the fire hydrant, and turned into the alley.
The man hurriedly followed and turned into the alley, but found that it was a dead end and there was no one inside.
"Hey, where's that person? I clearly saw him coming in from here!"
The man scratched his head, his face full of confusion.
Qin Nuo descended from above, stood silently behind him, and asked, "Are you looking for me?"
The man was startled and just as he turned around, a fruit knife was pressed against his abdomen, which frightened him so much that his face turned pale.
"Wait, wait, brother, why did you use a knife? This must be a misunderstanding!"
A fruit knife almost scared him to death. How cowardly must this guy be?
Qin Nuo thought that if this kind of person was teleported into the horror world, he would definitely be the first to die, scared to death.
Seeing that he looked so scared that he was almost kneeling on the ground begging for mercy, he simply put away the knife and asked calmly, "Why are you following me? Which guild are you from?"
"I'd love to know which team was so stupid as to send you to follow me."
So far, the only guilds Qin Nuo could think of that behaved like this were those that coveted him.
"No, I decided to follow you myself." The man was quite handsome and well-dressed, but he looked extremely cowardly, which seriously reduced his handsomeness.
"Why?"
"You are Qin Yushi's younger brother, right?"
Qin Nuo looked puzzled: "And then?"
"It's... it's like this. Your sister and I were classmates in college, and I've always... I've had a crush on her, but I'm too timid to muster up the courage to confess. So... I thought I'd ask you to set me up, that's all."
This person is not only timid, but also starts to stutter when talking about important things, and can only finish a sentence in a halting manner.
