Night.
It's the third watch again.
Qin Nuo, who was lying on the bed, woke up again. He sat up and found that there was a large wet area on the bed sheet and a layer of sweat on his forehead.
Qin Nuo stood up and poured a few glasses of water to the side, and drank them all in one gulp.
Looking at my pale self in the mirror, I feel like I’m overdrawn and weak.
"Are you not feeling well, or is there something wrong with you?" asked the blood-eyed ghost.
"I don't know. It seems like I had another dream."
"I still feel uncomfortable and depressed, but I just can't remember it." Qin Nuo held the water cup and shook his head.
"Looking for someone to take a look?"
"Doctors? They'll just prescribe me some medicine to nourish my body and kidneys, and then tell me not to overindulge myself."
But Qin Nuo himself knew very well that it was not his physical condition that was wrong, but it was probably related to the horror world.
After a moment of silence, Qin Nuo put on a windbreaker and walked out of the room.
"Where are you going?" asked the Blood-Eyed Ghost.
"Go out for a walk and relax."
Qin Nuo said casually, took the key and walked out of the rented house.
Walking downstairs, the moonlight at night was different from the night in the horror world. The moonlight was very bright and transparent, and the street lights on the roadside drove away most of the darkness.
Qin Nuo planned to take a walk in the community, but as he walked, he drove into a convenience store in the community.
The boss on night shift was an old man who was lying on a chair, watching TV, but he was drowsy and the remote control in his hand was about to fall to the ground.
Qin Nuo walked in and the doorbell on the door frame rang, waking up the boss.
Qin Nuo ignored him and walked around the shelves, picking up some bread and a large bottle of mineral water.
When checking out, the boss looked at Qin Nuo, adjusted his glasses, and said with a smile: "Isn't this Xiao Qin? Didn't you go to school? It's vacation time, right?"
"Yeah, I came back for a walk during the holiday." Qin Nuo replied casually.
"I saw in the news a while ago that your school was shut down by the Education Bureau for some reason, and it's still closed. Is that true?" The boss asked as he helped Qin Nuo pack the goods in a bag.
"I don't know, I've already graduated."
Seeing that Qin Nuo looked absent-minded, the boss stopped talking and sat back on the sofa.
I was watching it with great interest when suddenly the Peking Opera on TV flickered a few times and the screen was filled with snow.
"I only bought this TV a few years ago. Why is it breaking down tonight? The signal is bad?" The boss muttered while patting the TV.
Qin Nuo, who was about to leave with the bag, suddenly stopped when he heard the rustling sound of snowflakes.
Looking back at the TV and the snowflakes that blurred his vision, Qin Nuo felt inexplicably familiar.
The TV flickered a few times and suddenly returned to normal, but the Peking Opera channel was gone and switched to a bloody picture.
The picture shows a bloody person walking with a pile of corpses under his feet. He is holding a head with his eyes gouged out.
He looked up at the camera, his eyes seemed to be looking at Qin Nuo.
Then, the sound of bustling activity was heard.
The bright red and black blood overflowed from the TV frame, and the smell of blood immediately filled the store.
The bloody figure walked towards the camera, stretched out a hand, and grabbed the frame. The terrifying blood tumor head pierced through the screen and peeked out...
"Xiao Qin, Xiao Qin?"
The boss's voice woke Qin Nuo up. When he came to his senses, he found that not only was there no blood on the TV, but the picture inside was also normal Peking Opera.
The boss waved his hand in front of Qin Nuo's eyes a few times and asked, "You look very bad. Do you want to call a doctor for you?"
"Another hallucination?"
Qin Nuo thought to himself, shook his head and said: "No, I was distracted just now, maybe I am sleepy, goodbye boss."
After saying that, Qin Nuo walked out of the convenience store.
The boss was a little confused. He returned to his chair and just sat down when the TV suddenly switched back to snow.
The boss stood up helplessly: "How come the snowflakes that just disappeared are appearing again now..."
…
The next morning.
While Qin Nuo was eating breakfast, Qin Yushi casually asked, "Couldn't you sleep last night? I saw you go downstairs for a walk."
Qin Nuo was not surprised that Qin Yushi found out that she was up. After all, these two days were a special period. "It's okay, just a little stuffy."
Qin Yushi didn't ask any more questions. She picked up the plate and left, saying, "When you're done eating, remember to wash the plate yourself."
It was noon. Qin Yushi looked at the time, went into the room, changed into a more comfortable set of clothes, and came out and said to Qin Nuo, "Get ready, our guests are almost here."
"The gathering place is in our house?" Qin Nuo was slightly stunned.
"Yes, to avoid unnecessary trouble. Otherwise, where do you think it is?" Qin Yushi asked.
"I thought we were going to the base of your organization, just like in the movies, hidden underground, with scientific researchers and advanced high-tech machines everywhere." Qin Nuo gestured.
"You've watched too many science fiction movies."
"And you won't like our base." Qin Yushi said.
"Why?"
"Because you have social anxiety. Do you like being stared at by hundreds of people?" Qin Yushi said with a smile, as if to say I know you too well.
Qin Nuo shrugged: "Just pretend I didn't say anything."
At this time, the doorbell rang.
Qin Nuo stood up and walked over to open the door. It was Shi Yu outside the door, wearing casual clothes.
In addition to a black leather suitcase, he was also carrying a large box of hot stinky tofu.
"Little Phantom, long time no see. This is my first time visiting your house. I didn't know what to bring, so I brought some local stinky tofu. Don't worry, there's plenty of it."
