A foul stench filled my nose, and a terrifying ghost face was right in front of me. The wrinkles on its face were like cracked cement, and strange flames were dancing in its dark eye sockets.
The picture is beautiful.
Qin Nuo remained unmoved and continued to sleep soundly, with hot air coming out of his nose accompanied by a slight snoring sound.
Because of the stench, Qin Nuo, who was sleeping soundly, seemed uncomfortable and turned his body with his back to her.
The old woman paused, leaned back, and stared at the body that had fallen to the ground.
Immediately afterwards, there was a sound of flesh being pierced, and a sharp iron hook pierced the corpse.
The old woman carried the iron bucket in one hand and dragged the corpse in the other, walked away on the sidewalk, and returned to the front of the carriage.
Qin Nuo opened his eyes slightly, pondered for a moment, closed his eyes, and continued to catch up on his sleep.
…
No words were spoken that night.
When a whistling sound came from the train, Qin Nuo opened his eyes in the last carriage and found that the sky outside the window was gradually getting brighter, and the white fog was even thicker. It was a vast expanse of white, and only the vague outline of the city could be barely seen.
Lonely and mysterious.
Qin Nuo woke up, but did not raise his head easily. He used his peripheral vision to pay attention to the movements of the other passengers.
Those players behaved in the same way as Qin Nuo. In fact, most of the players stayed up all night. Pretending to be asleep was extremely tormenting to them, and time passed as slowly as a snail.
In such a horrible environment, only a freak like Qin Nuo could sleep comfortably.
Qin Nuo leaned back in his chair, squinted his eyes, and tried to get a wider view.
When the dim light shone into the car, the dirty environment appeared before our eyes again.
Soon, there were several knocks on iron buckets in front of the carriage, followed by the old man's voice: "Passengers, you should get up. The train will keep running. You can't let your seats rust?"
He stood in the sidewalk with his hands behind his back. Compared with the old woman, his face was much more normal. Under his old appearance, he still had a kind smile.
After hearing this, some passengers tried to open their eyes.
Some of them were possessed by acting spirits, stretching and yawning, with expressions of enjoyment and contentment.
The old man looked at them, grinning with a mouth that didn't have many teeth. "It looks like you slept very comfortably last night. I thought some noise last night must have woken you up."
One player hesitated for a moment, then forced a smile and said, "That's good. You're thoughtful."
"As I should. I'm really responsible for taking care of the passengers in this carriage. If you're satisfied, I can rest assured."
The old man took out his pipe, took a puff, and said with a faint smile.
Seeing that the old man was easy to talk to, the other players relaxed a little and tried to discuss some topics with him.
The sound of chatting coming from the front seat eased the atmosphere in the car that had been tense all night.
Some passengers were moving around in their seats and communicating with their neighbors. The old man saw all of this and did not see any abnormal behavior.
Fang Ye, who was sitting in the front seat, turned around and glanced at Qin Nuo: "I heard you snoring last night. At first I thought you were pretending to be asleep, but you didn't stop snoring the entire night."
Qin Nuo shrugged: "I really fell asleep."
Fang Ye was speechless again: "You are quite generous."
"The old man wants us to sleep, so sleep must be safe. Instead of the torture of pretending to be asleep, it's better to have a good sleep."
Qin Nuo said with a smile, and then asked: "You didn't sleep all night, did you?"
Fang Ye's expression was as if he had eaten a durian. He said, "First of all, I need to have your mentality to be able to sleep well."
A player watching Qin Nuo and the other two talking, also thinking of joining in the conversation, glanced at the front and whispered, "Daytime doesn't seem as scary as night. That old man seems easier to talk to. Maybe we can ask him for directions to the next car?"
Fang Ye glanced at him and ignored him.
Qin Nuo said, "Never trust the ghosts in horror games. Their faces change faster than the weather."
"There was no outbreak simply because no one broke the rules of the game."
"As for how to get to the next car, it all depends on the old couple. In due time, I think they will tell us how to go through that door."
Qin Nuo stared at the bloody iron door at the end of the carriage and said calmly.
"As soon as you opened your mouth, I knew you were an old player, Master. Are you interested in forming a team?" After hearing Qin Nuo's thorough analysis, the player immediately thought of trying to win him over.
Fang Ye blocked him with one hand and looked at him indifferently: "He has teamed up with me."
Seeing Fang Ye's unyielding demeanor, the player continued with a cheeky smile, "Adding one more person won't hurt. As the saying goes, there's always a teacher among three people!"
Fang Ye: "Are you talking about you? You can only act as a burden. What you should do now is to sit back and shut up."
The man wanted to say something but stopped himself, but seeing Fang Ye's murderous aura, he still shuddered.
In front of the carriage, more and more players tried to talk to the old man.
The tone is as flattering as it can be, and the attitude seems even more humble.
The players are not stupid, so they naturally familiarize themselves with the rules before entering the dungeon.
In this carriage, the old couple naturally acted as carriage captains, and building good relationships would basically bring more benefits than disadvantages.
"Old man, I want to ask if we can go to the next car?"
Amidst the noise, a sudden voice was heard, and everyone else fell silent in an instant.
In the end, all the players wanted to ask this, but they didn’t have the courage, and were all waiting for this sentence.
