…
Two days passed in the blink of an eye.
It was late at night and the wind was cold.
But even colder are places like hospitals.
Doctor Wang on duty was walking in the corridor with the report form of the deceased. He frowned and felt a headache when he looked at the report information on it.
The intern nurse on the side observed the situation and said, "Director, the family members have to explain this tomorrow. What should we do now?"
"So I said I had a headache. There's no explanation at all. There's no medical or even scientific basis for it. All my physical features are normal, but I'm like a living dead person."
"What kind of thing is it to leave the patients in the horror game to the hospital? They should be handed over to those shady organizations!"
Doctor Wang shook his head, helplessly stuffed the examination report into the intern nurse's hand, put his hands in his pockets, and walked into the hall.
"Director, where are you going?" the intern nurse asked in surprise, looking at the report in her arms.
"Go squint your eyes first."
Just as Doctor Wang was speaking, he heard a clear muffled sound echoing in the corridor.
Both of them were startled.
"It seems to be coming from Ward 403, but when I came out, there was no one inside. This..." The intern nurse, who had just been on the job for less than a month, said with some fear.
"Don't scare yourself. Don't forget what your job is. You'll be dealing with corpses often in the future. How can you be so frightened by a loud noise? Do you still believe in ghosts and gods?"
When Dr. Wang saw her appearance, he became furious for no reason and scolded her.
"Director, now the horror game has appeared, it's really a ghost..." The intern nurse muttered in a low voice, feeling aggrieved.
"A horror game is still a game after all. Even if there are ghosts, they stay in that world and can't come to us!"
Dr. Wang threw his medical gloves on the table and said to her, "Come with me and take a look. Maybe some equipment has fallen off."
Although he said this, he was actually a little scared. After all, those people in that bed had all returned from that world.
The trainee nurse could only nod and follow behind him, clutching the documents in her arms tightly.
“Crack!”
With a sound, the door of the ward was slowly pushed open, and it was dark inside.
Dr. Wang wanted to turn on the light, but as luck would have it, the light bulb was broken.
"Do I have to be so unlucky?" Doctor Wang's mouth twitched and he took out a flashlight from his pocket.
He walked in front, the beam of light shone into the room, and a biting chill filled the ward.
Doctor Wang shuddered. When he shone his flashlight on the beds, they were in disarray and the patients were missing.
"The patient is missing?"
Doctor Wang was stunned and continued to look for other beds, but they were also empty.
"Xiao Chen, something seems wrong. Why don't we go out first?"
He said, but received no response.
When I turned around, Xiao Chen was gone.
A layer of cold sweat broke out on Doctor Wang's forehead. He looked at the doorway where the light was shining and ran towards it immediately.
A hand stretched out from the door and slowly closed it.
The light gradually disappeared...
"Director, the patients didn't run away. I found them for you."
Xiao Chen spoke softly, his face completely pale in the dim light.
She looked at the director with a smile, and the whites in her eyes faded and turned dark black.
Blood flowed into his eyes and out from the corners of his eyes.
Doctor Wang's mouth trembled, but he subconsciously asked in a trembling voice: "Where..."
"You'll know if you look back," Xiao Chen said with a smile. The curve of his mouth became bigger and bigger, and then it tore to the roots of his ears, and blood dyed his neck red.
A chill ran down his spine and Dr. Wang's heart was pounding. He didn't dare look back or run to the door.
But in the end, he still grabbed the flashlight with both hands and shone it behind him. As the flashlight was raised, the beam of light found figures in hospital gowns.
Then, the photo captured a number of horrific, rotten faces. They tilted their heads and looked at Dr. Wang. One of them had a sinister smile on his face.
A pair of hands wrapped around Dr. Wang's neck. Xiao Chen leaned against the doctor's face, sticky black blood dripping onto his shoulders. He smiled and said, "Director, welcome to the horror game..."
…
A minute later, Xiao Chen was walking along the cold corridor carrying a human head and placed it on the front desk.
Then he walked along a wall, picked up a scalpel and cut his wrist. A large amount of blood dripped onto the floor, flowing strangely and into the gap.
In the corridor, patients came out one by one and walked in every corner of the hospital, repeating the same operation.
Xiao Chen's lower body was completely dyed red. She looked up at the bright moon outside the window and spoke with a smile.
"The real game begins..."
