Chapter 430: A dull plot, outside the window late at night!

Qin Nuo was stunned for a moment, then turned around and saw his mother standing at the door, looking blankly ahead, and asked.

"No, I picked up a book recently and was so engrossed in it that I started talking to myself." Qin Nuo responded calmly.

"Aren't you feeling unwell? Go and have some rest," said the mother.

Qin Nuo nodded in response.

"Also, your father's room has been cleaned, right? I've always told you to."

"some."

"Then why is it that when I enter the room, I smell a musty odor and feel dust everywhere I touch?"

"Mom is just blind, not stupid." The mother sighed, her haggard face full of helplessness.

Qin Nuo opened his mouth, not knowing how to answer.

"Mom keeps saying this for your own good, and for a reason. Just do as she says, and you won't go wrong."

Li Sha's mother spoke hoarsely and turned away.

"There seems to be something wrong with Lisha's mother. She looks like she's possessed by a demon." said the Blood-Eyed Ghost.

Qin Nuo said: "Even a fool can see this."

"It's possible that Li Sha's father died and his ghost returned, causing Li Sha's mother to become what she is now."

Since this is a horror world and ghosts are frequent visitors, this speculation is the most reasonable one.

Qin Nuo came out of the firewood room. Because of his mother's words, he went to take a look at Li Sha's father's room.

As expected, the room had not been cleaned at all. The bed, desk, and some folded fine silk fabrics were all covered with dust.

There was wood powder blown under the bed board, and the bedposts had basically been hollowed out by termites. It was unknown how long it had been since they had been cleaned.

Obviously, Li Sha didn't take his mother's words to heart at all.

Qin Nuo put his hands in his pockets and walked around the room for a while. Seeing nothing worth noting, he left the room.

"The standard for Quande Town is to survive for ten days, but it seems there is no danger at the moment."

"Perhaps the danger refers to that so-called disease?"

"But so far, I haven't felt any discomfort in Li Sha's body. Where does the illness come from?"

"The dungeon also mentioned that every character in Quande Town will get sick. Could it be an infectious disease?"

When he returned to his room, Qin Nuo was thinking while casually flipping through Li Sha's things.

The decorations were very simple, but when I opened a drawer, I found a lot of papers. They were not love letters, but all had crooked handwriting. Looking at the repetitive strokes, I could imagine how difficult it was for Li Sha to practice these words.

"Li Sha's father was a tailor. Logically, it's unlikely that he would have prevented his son from attending private school or learning to read. It's likely that he passed away too early, and the multiple blows he suffered led to the current situation."

Qin Nuo murmured, picked up the stack of fonts, and flipped through them page by page. He didn't find anything he needed. When he put the paper down, he found a brand new pen underneath.

When I opened it, I saw plenty of ink and pens. It looked like no one had ever written on it. The drawings on the paper were all made with crude pencils.

Obviously, this pen is very precious to Li Sha.

Qin Nuo picked up the pen and held it against the sunlight coming in from the window. Under the light, he murmured, "This precious thing must have been left by my father, or it might be a token of love from someone."

"There must be a reason why Li Sha works so hard on calligraphy."

Pursing his lips, Qin Nuo put the pen back and leaned back in his chair. Suddenly, he thought of something and quickly opened the game panel.

He remembered that the login tool could display teammates matched in the same dungeon. Although he didn't know the game ID, he could know the number of people.

I was so focused on Li Sha that I almost forgot about this!

I opened the panel and saw two status progress bars on the teammate matching progress panel.

"I've been matched with two teammates!"

Qin Nuo's eyes couldn't help but light up.

Qin Yushi, Shi Yu, Shan Yue, and that shadow, but I don’t know which two of them they are?

Qin Yushi, Qin Nuo naturally thought of it.

Shi Yu has good abilities, but he loves to act too much. When he gets crazy, he even acts like a show-off to his teammates. I don't have much hope for him.

Shanyue looks a little clumsy, but that's okay.

That shadow looks calm and collected, he should be a good teammate.

The headache is that Quande Town is so big, there should be nearly a thousand NPCs in the game, but there are only 25 players. It is not easy to meet teammates.

But before entering the dungeon, Qin Yushi told him that as long as he was close to his matched teammates within a hundred meters, the status bar would react, which would test his sense of smell.

So far, there is no movement in both progress bars.

The blood-eyed ghost said, "You seem very bored."

"A little bit, because until now, I don't know what I should do."

Qin Nuo spoke lightly and tried to put his hands in his pockets, but found that there were no pockets at all, only patches of different colors.

"Maybe tonight will be interesting?" said the Blood-Eyed Ghost.

"I think so too." Qin Nuo smiled slightly.

Based on the previous copies, the horror world is always much more interesting at night.

Near dusk, Qin Nuo came back from outside. He walked around to get familiar with the place.

The houses of Li Sha's neighbors on both sides were abandoned. For some reason, when the neighbors saw him, they would call him "Li Sha". It was not because he was very popular, but more like a joke.

The yellow dog in the alley was walking around with its tail wagging, neighbors were greeting each other in a friendly manner, and a child selling newspapers was running in the alley shouting. In short, there were no signs of anything scary.

Those who are not aware of the situation would think that they have entered a Republic of China copy where the plot develops normally.
