Seeing the figure waving in the white mist, Qin Nuo wiped the cold sweat from his face with a towel and pulled the rickshaw over.
As I got closer, I could see the guest's face clearly. He was a big man with a rough appearance, and his thin clothes were bulging due to his sturdy body.
The same thing is that their faces all have a dull look, and the gaze in their eyes is unable to focus.
Behind him, there was a larger sack, the classic green urea sack.
The scary thing was that a part of the sack was stained dark red, and blood was dripping onto the floor.
Qin Nuo put down the armrest and asked with a smile: "Guest, where are you going?"
"Shuangyang Street, Crematorium No. 30."
The sturdy man's expression changed slightly, and he turned his stiff face towards Qin Nuo and uttered these words.
"Crematorium..." Qin Nuo thought for a moment and found the departure route in his memory.
"Okay, let's go." Qin Nuo nodded slightly and wisely didn't ask any more questions.
"It's not for me." The strong man said lightly.
Qin Nuo listened to his words, then looked at the urea sacks behind him.
The burly man turned around, picked up the man in the sack, and threw him on the rickshaw. He looked at Qin Nuo indifferently: "The crematorium will close after 11 o'clock today. I hope you can get there in time."
As he spoke, he stretched out his hand, which contained two crumpled banknotes.
"Transporting the corpse... After delivering it, I have to send it to the crematorium. Can you help me deal with it? I don't have this business here." Qin Nuo glanced at the sack on the car. He didn't know if it was an illusion, but for a moment, the sack moved.
"Go to the place and put it on the ground. Someone will take care of it." The strong man said, not caring at all what Qin Nuo thought.
Qin Nuo wanted to ask something, but the strong man put down the money, turned around and left, quickly disappearing in the white mist.
Turning around and looking at the sacks on the cart, Qin Nuo was silent for a moment and murmured, "Forget it, I'm just a cart driver. I just need to take the passengers to their destination."
"Whether they are alive or dead, what does it matter to me?"
When Qin Nuo thought about it this way, he didn't care. He grabbed the handrail and told the passenger to sit tight, then pulled the rickshaw into the white fog.
Walking through the white fog, a face was whistled by the cold wind, as if a sharp blade was cutting on the face.
Qin Nuo felt the armrest in his hand shaking violently. He didn't need to look back to know that it was the sacks in the car that were moving, and the noise was very loud.
"Is he not dead, or is he pretending to be dead?" Qin Nuo was not sure and did not want to care. He stared at the front and concentrated on pulling his cart.
While pulling the cart, Qin Nuo discovered something wrong. There were not many townspeople on the street, but whenever they met one, they would subconsciously stop.
Then, he looked at me with a strange look.
Qin Nuo glanced at them and knew clearly that they were not looking at him, but the person in the sack on the rickshaw.
Even when the rickshaw went away, their eyes still followed it, watching it until it disappeared.
"Why are they all looking at the person in the sack?" Qin Nuo wondered in his heart.
Soon, we arrived at the crematorium.
Qin Nuo put down the handrail. In front of him, there was thick smoke billowing in the crematorium. The flames behind the iron gate were still dazzling even through the thick fog.
The hot air completely drove away the coldness around me.
"The crematorium is doing so well today?" Qin Nuo whispered, some terrible thoughts involuntarily emerging in his mind.
The dark smoke rolled up into the sky and filled the white fog, making the entire area gray.
Qin Nuo grabbed the sack with his right hand and threw it on the ground.
With this throw, more blood seeped out of the sack.
The sack twisted and a painful and weak sound came from inside.
It seemed as if he was struggling in his death throes, and also as if he was begging Qin Nuo to open the sack and rescue him.
Qin Nuo remained silent and did not act rashly. He stood aside, looking at the sack and then looking around.
Soon, a figure walked out of the white fog.
He was wearing crematorium work clothes and his face was wrapped in a dirty towel.
Qin Nuo watched him coming over. The man didn't say anything. He squatted down and tilted his head slightly, as if observing.
After a moment, he suddenly reached out and tore open the sack. Qin Nuo saw the person inside. His face was covered in blood. No one knew what had happened to his head, and a large piece of his skull was missing.
On the skin at the base of the neck, horrifying bloody spots were clearly visible.
These corpse spots were like leeches attached to the body, wriggling horribly, black blood flowing out, and the flesh was torn and rotting.
"The same strange disease..."
Qin Nuo's eyes flickered slightly.
As the worker watched, he grabbed the woman in the sack by the face and dragged her towards the crematorium.
The woman suddenly raised her hand slowly and grabbed the worker's hand.
A piece of cloth was torn off the worker's sleeve, revealing half of his arm.
On that arm, there were also blood-red corpse spots growing, wriggling strangely.
The woman in the sack looked at the worker with a pleading look in her eyes: "I can still go on..."
The worker paid no attention to the wrist and looked at the woman in the sack with a cold look: "You are no longer able to do it."
"I have a son who is less than three years old. He is the only one left in the family. What will happen to him if I die?" the woman asked in a hoarse and trembling voice.
"That's the rule."
"It's the rules of the town."
"I'm not just thinking about your son, but the people of this town as well."
As he spoke, the worker continued to drag the woman in the sack, took more steps, disappeared in the white mist, and walked towards the huge, scorching fire in the distance.
There is no need to say what happened to the sack woman.
A simple scene, a few simple words.
