Chapter 439 Mirror fragments, Aunt Xuan’s child!

The old man's destination was a courtyard house that had been abandoned for who knows how long.

When the rickshaw stopped, the old man pinched a crumpled banknote and stuffed it into Qin Nuo's hand.

Then he got out of the car holding a box and walked towards the courtyard.

Qin Nuo watched the figure disappear, turned his head to look at the stains on the car bag, and shook his head helplessly.

"Ding! Congratulations to the player for completing the dungeon mission and obtaining a bottle of good medicine. The additional score will be calculated after the dungeon is completed!"

"We've got the main clue: a broken mirror. Late at night, if you place it on a table in the moonlight, it seems to reflect a mysterious image."

Qin Nuo listened to the voice and raised his eyebrows.

The main clue is there, a piece of mirror fragment?

According to the game announcement, it can only be used in the middle of the night. What does the mysterious mirror mean?

Time will give the answer. Qin Nuo didn't think too much about it, nor did he stay for long. He pulled the rickshaw and went back home.

When I got home, it was noon.

Inside the courtyard, my mother was sitting there.

There was some noise coming from inside the house. It should be Aunt Xuan preparing lunch.

"Are you back?" When the mother heard the voice, a smile appeared on her weathered face.

"I'm back. It's quite cold today and there are not many people on the street. I only sent three passengers away." Qin Nuo pushed the rickshaw aside, washed it with a towel, and hung it on the firewood rack.

"I told you last night that the weather will be cold, so you must remember to wear more clothes and don't catch a cold."

Qin Nuo nodded, and seeing Aunt Xuan busy in the kitchen, he lowered his voice and said to his mother, "Mom, the first customer I invited is Uncle Zhang."

"But he doesn't look very happy."

As he spoke, he paid attention to his mother's expression.

My mother listened, blinked, and asked, "Did you talk about Aunt Xuan?"

"We chatted a bit."

Hearing this, the mother was silent for a moment, then reached out to the cup beside her, took a sip, and then said, "Son, today is a special day. When we eat later, you have to see me pick up my chopsticks before you can move."

"What day?" Qin Nuo asked puzzledly.

"You're still young, there's no need to ask."

The mother said this lightly, stood up, and walked into the house with her crutches.

Soon, Aunt Xuan's voice came from the kitchen: "The food is almost ready, Xiao Li, go wash your hands and get ready to eat."

Qin Nuo responded and came out after washing his hands. There were already several dishes on the table. They were all very common dishes and there was not much oil in them.

Aunt Xuan was still looking at the food in the pot, and she said with a smile, "I picked a big winter melon over there, but I couldn't finish it, so I cut half of it and brought it to you. It's very sweet."

"You guys eat first, mine will be ready soon."

My mother said, "Aunt Xuan, we've already ordered this. Why don't you just leave some for us to eat together?"

"I'm not a polite person, but the children at home are still waiting, so I have to hurry back." Aunt Xuan said with a smile.

The mother responded but did not raise her hand to pick up the chopsticks.

Seeing this, Qin Nuo did not pick up the chopsticks, although the glutton in his stomach was already protesting violently.

Aunt Xuan brought the dishes up and saw that the food was untouched. She asked, "Why aren't you eating?"

My mother said, "Aunt Xuan, you have taken care of me for so many years. Whether it is out of Li Quan's kindness or for some other reason, it is enough. I am very grateful to you. When the tailor shop was still there, I regarded you as a family member."

"Today, can you come back later and have a meal with your family?"

Aunt Xuan smoothed her silver hair and said with a smile, "There's nothing to thank me for. If it weren't for Quanzi giving me a job, my child might have died..."

After hearing this, the mother pondered for a long moment before speaking softly.

"Aunt Xuan, your child is dead."

Qin Nuo's expression changed slightly, and his eyes fell on Aunt Xuan's face.

Aunt Xuan's face stiffened for a moment, then she smiled: "Yes, if you hadn't mentioned it, I would have forgotten. I don't know how many times it has happened."

"My child is dead. He was less than a year old when he died."

Aunt Xuan spoke softly, looking up outside the house with a dazed look on her face.

"Aunt Xuan, don't think about the past. Let's sit down and eat together," said my mother.

Aunt Xuan shook her head, glanced at the time on the pendulum clock, and said, "There will be a chance later. I'll pack up and go back."

"Eat now, or the food will get cold."

The mother raised her head slightly and looked at Aunt Xuan: "Aunt Xuan, the child is innocent, it was just an accident, why do you want to involve him?"

Aunt Xuan smiled and said, "Sister Ling, what do you mean by that?"

"Xuan Ying, leave here and don't come again, otherwise..."

"otherwise?"

Aunt Xuan's smile widened: "What would happen otherwise?"

The mother's face lost all traces of smile, as if frost covered her cheeks. She simply said, "I will risk my life for my child."

Bang!!

As soon as the words fell, a terrifying force fell on the mother, and then she flew out and hit the table over there.

"Child...your child is still here, where is my child?"

Aunt Xuan's eyes were cloudy and she muttered.

His face was wriggling, and corpse spots appeared on it. The flesh on his face seemed to have had all its blood sucked out and was rapidly withering.

"mother!"

Qin Nuo stood up suddenly and looked at his mother lying on the ground.

Aunt Xuan suddenly raised her hand and dropped it on Qin Nuo. A cold light flashed, and the latter reacted quickly and took half a step back, but the clothes on his body were cut open.
