Chapter 441: Light and Shadow Attack, Hero in Town!

Horrible wounds tore their bodies apart, the black sickle was pulled out, and two shadows fell to the ground. After struggling for a moment, they died.

The black sickle drilled back into the flesh of his right hand, and the Blood Eye Ghost said, "You said it too late. It's too late to retract it."

On the ground, black liquid covered the bodies of the light and shadow. Qin Nuo wanted to go over to check, but the two light and shadows suddenly disappeared out of thin air in front of him.

It turned into a pile of scattered light and dissipated on the ground.

Qin Nuo squatted down, looked for a moment, and shook his head helplessly: "The light and shadow might be an important clue, what a pity..."

The Blood Eye Ghost said, "It's none of my business. You know I'm decisive and quick in my work."

"Who asked you to make me serious?"

Qin Nuo said nothing. He stood up and looked at the light and shadow disappearing in the yard. He took out the mirror fragment from his clothes and said, "However, the mirror can still be used. There should be more than just these few lights and shadows..."

"How did these monsters appear? They appeared out of thin air and took out weapons out of thin air?" The Blood-Eyed Ghost asked in confusion.

"They're called monsters... but I think they're pretty much the same as us."

Qin Nuo muttered, the emotions in their eyes were no different from those of humans.

"The light and shadow are related to the main plot, and the main plot involves a strange disease. At least I have a clear direction now..."

At this moment, he was holding the broken mirror in his hand, but what was reflected inside was half of his face, and it had returned to normal.

Outside the window, the moonlight disappeared little by little, and the bright moon in the night sky was covered by dark clouds.

"It seems that this is the only time period."

Qin Nuo muttered, collected the broken mirror fragments, turned around and looked at the damaged door and window, his shoulders hunched over. "Our poor family has been hit even harder overnight."

After simply cleaning up the mess in the house and making sure that the house was quiet, Qin Nuo's nerves gradually calmed down from the excitement, and sleepiness soon came over his body and mind.

Qin Nuo yawned, closed the half-broken door, returned to the bed, lay down, and soon fell asleep.

Seeing this, the Blood Eye Ghost couldn't help but say, "You really can fight, eat, and sleep all at the same time. I admire you for that."

By the time the air turned damp and cold, it was already 6:30 in the morning.

Outside the broken window, the sky changed from gray to white.

Qin Nuo sat up, not because he woke up naturally, but because his chest gradually felt stuffy and he had difficulty breathing.

But it was not as bad as yesterday morning because the medicine was taken at three o'clock in the morning.

After adjusting his body, Qin Nuo got out of bed and looked at the damaged parts of the room. He scratched his head and muttered, "Since my mother can't see me, it doesn't matter what the room looks like."

Qin Nuo buttoned up his shirt and just opened the door when his mother outside placed a bowl of steaming porridge on the table.

She turned her head to face Qin Nuo and smiled slightly, "Awake?"

Qin Nuo nodded and hummed, noticing that his mother's soles were stepping on the fragments left over from last night's fight.

Qin Nuo sat down at the table calmly. Just as he took a sip of porridge, his mother suddenly said, "I heard everything that happened last night."

“Ahem…”

Qin Nuo choked twice, looked at his mother's calm expression, and said, "I really closed the door."

"It can't be locked up... Are you hurt?" asked the mother.

"No."

"How are they?" asked the mother again. She obviously knew something about the three lights and shadows.

Qin Nuo was silent, hesitated for a moment, and finally answered truthfully with two words: "Kill..."

Hearing these two words, the mother's face showed no blame, no worry, and certainly no fear. Instead, a rare smile appeared on her weathered face: "My son... has finally grown up."

Qin Nuo was somewhat surprised by this answer.

Is this... a normal mother's answer?

"Mom, you seem to know what they are?" Qin Nuo asked tentatively.

The mother held the cane in both hands, and her tone changed noticeably: "You just need to know that you killed them. Don't blame yourself, don't be afraid."

"You are a hero, a hero of the entire Quande Town. Those are monsters that eat and kill people."

"If it weren't for you last night, I would probably have been torn to pieces and brutally killed by them!" said the mother quietly.

"Where do they come from? Why do they kill people?" Qin Nuo suddenly realized that perhaps he could get a lot of useful information from Li Sha's mother.

"No one knows where they come from. They have appeared before, speaking their own language and are full of malice towards us. When they appear, they kill us."

"For this reason, the townspeople had no choice but to take up arms and resist."

"We kill them not just for the sake of killing, but to protect this town and the people around us."

Qin Nuo listened, his eyes narrowing continuously.

Just as he was about to ask something else, his mother suddenly looked up and said to Qin Nuo, "Your father can't come back because of these monsters!"
