"What do you mean, did he really escape underground?" Rod asked in surprise.
"Nothing is impossible in this copy." Qin Nuo said calmly.
He looked around and finally looked at the old woman in the wheelchair.
The old man's pupils trembled, and his lower body suddenly dripped yellow liquid. He became incontinent, but this time no one served him.
She stared at Qin Nuo with pleading eyes.
What was he begging for? Obviously, he was killing her.
"I have no obligation to kill you. Although I am saving you, it has nothing to do with me." Qin Nuo said calmly. This kind of woman was not very pleasing in his eyes.
"Where to go now?" Rod was holding the broken short-barreled shotgun, which was his last ghostly possession. He could only pick up a dinner knife on the table and use it for self-defense.
"Let's go to the next one... There's no real progress in this one." Qin Nuo sat on the chair and took off his completely dirty coat.
…
At this moment, Liekou Village was completely dark.
Yan Chen walked out from a dim corner, his skin becoming particularly rough and ugly.
The five fingers on the palm were covered in mud, with flesh and blood stuck together between the fingers, and roots protruding from the fingernails, looking as creepy as tree roots.
Seeing this, Yan Chen's face was gloomy, and a hoarse voice came out of his throat: "I need fresh sap..."
He walked toward the street.
The street lights on the roadside flickered a few times, and Yan Chen's expression changed. In the gray mist, he saw a figure.
Under the lamppost, a girl stood there, wearing a thin white dress. The night wind was cold, but she did not shiver.
She looked around with a confused look on her face.
Yan Chen's eyes lit up slightly, and he licked his lips with his tongue. A gentle smile appeared on his face, and he walked over: "Little sister, why are you here alone in the middle of the night?"
"Did you have a fight with your family, run away from home, or get lost from your family?"
The girl looked at Yan Chen, whose face was full of tenderness, blinked her eyes, and said, "I came out alone."
"Running away from home? It's cold outside and you might run into bad guys. Come to my house. My sister is at home too. You can sleep in the same bed with her and we can talk about it in the morning, how about that?" Yan Chen said with a smile, trying his best to let the girl down.
The girl blinked, seemed to be hesitant, and finally nodded: "Okay."
Yan Chen smiled even more and reached out to hold the girl's hand.
"Your hands are so cold." Yan Chen said.
"Your hands look so strange." The girl lowered her head and looked at Yan Chen's hands and said.
"Is it weird? Brother's hands have always been like this."
Yan Chen chuckled.
As he spoke, his hands changed little by little, and dense, tiny roots grew from the surface of the skin, which climbed up the girl's palm.
At this point, it was impossible to break free.
"I'm sorry, little sister, brother needs fresh sap." Yan Chen's expression became crazy, and there was a morbid greed in his eyes.
One of the tiny roots pierced the girl's skin, causing bright red blood to flow out.
Seeing this bit of crimson, Yan Chen's expression suddenly froze: "Why... your blood is red?"
"What is sap?"
The girl raised her head, her big, watery eyes filled with curiosity: "Also, why can't blood be red?"
When he heard this, Yan Chen quickly understood: "You are an outsider!"
Realizing this, Yan Chen showed a look of disgust on his face: "Damn, dirty and disgusting outsiders."
He pulled his hand back abruptly because he had just been humiliated by Qin Nuo. The gentle smile on his face disappeared and was replaced by gnashing of teeth.
"Is there a problem?" the girl asked doubtfully.
Yan Chen did not answer. His rough palm suddenly grabbed the girl's face with a strong murderous intent.
Chila!!
The sound of tearing suddenly rang out in the air.
Yan Chen's pupils shrank slightly, and his entire arm flew out.
What shocked him even more was that the girl in front of him squirmed on her back, and then two wing-like pieces of flesh grew out, with dense blood vessels and meridians all over them.
"Brother, I want to ask you some questions. What is the so-called god in this village called?"
"Do you think I'll tell you?"
Yan Chen's eyes were cold.
The girl nodded: "Okay, then I can only ask the next one."
As the voice fell, one of the flesh and blood wings was suddenly cut off, and in an instant, Yan Chen's body was torn in half.
The two halves of the body fell on both sides, but there was not a drop of blood. The split corpse turned into wood bit by bit, then rotted and merged into the soil.
Shu Yue looked at this scene, tilted her head, and had a strange expression on her face.
At this moment, Qin Nuo and Luo De were no longer in the villa and came out from the gate.
As I walked down the slope, I saw a smaller figure in the distance.
"Residents?" Rod was very sensitive. In his eyes, every resident of Liekou Village was extremely dangerous.
Qin Nuo looked at this figure and was surprised: "Shu Yue?"
Shu Yue raised her head. Her delicate face must have looked pretty when she smiled, but unfortunately she just didn't like to smile.
Seeing Qin Nuo, she was a little surprised: "Brother Qin, why are you here?"
Qin Nuo coughed twice and said, "Who has nothing better to do than to come here? I just came in accidentally."
"But you, weren't you in the apartment building? Why are you here?"
Shu Yue blinked and said innocently, "I came here because I was too bored."
