"No one has entered the room!"
Beside the bed, Qin Nuo was holding the phone. When he heard the manager's words on the other end of the phone, his expression remained normal, without much change.
"Is that so? Then maybe I was wrong."
"The manager called me, he shouldn't just be asking me how my stay is, right?" Qin Nuo asked back.
"In a few minutes, the maintenance worker will come up and fix the air conditioner problem. Just open the door."
"Okay, I understand." Qin Nuo nodded. In the movie, the maintenance worker did come to the door, and the door opened by the protagonist for him was actually his last chance to escape, but unfortunately he missed it.
On the other end of the phone, the manager listened to Qin Nuo's words and seemed to sense something was wrong. He reluctantly reminded him of the last two sentences: "Guest, you seem to be stuck in a quagmire. Many things are no longer important. You only have one life."
"You know what I mean."
Qin Nuo did not answer directly, but said with a smile: "Thank you, if there is nothing else, then it's fine, Manager."
After saying that, Qin Nuo hung up the phone.
Sitting on the chair, Yun looked at Qin Nuo and asked, "What's the matter?"
"I'm just asking if you're comfortable living here." Qin Nuo shrugged, appearing unconcerned.
The three heard it but didn't pay much attention to it, their minds were focused on their own troubles.
The time on the wall passed by little by little, and the sound of the second hand ticking was torturous to listen to.
The time now is three o'clock in the morning.
It would take about three hours to complete the mission, and only half of the time had passed.
Hotels are for staying in, not sleeping. In such a large room, there is nothing to kill time.
Inside the room, the four of them were just sitting there doing nothing.
On one side of the bed, Zixu took out another bag of coffee powder, soaked it with boiling water, and drank it in the hope of refreshing himself, but it was of no use and he was still drowsy.
He slapped himself hard twice and stood up: "I can't stand it anymore. I'm going to get some fresh air."
He opened a window on one side and took a few deep breaths to relieve his sleepiness.
Yun was sitting there, nothing special, just putting her keypad phone aside, her eyes fixed on the phone, her expression changing from time to time, as if she was thinking about something.
On the other side, a nervous man was sitting on a swivel chair, half asleep and half awake, holding the doll in his right hand, separated by a partition.
I don’t know if it was an illusion, but the doll’s head tilted sideways, staring through the partition at the nervous person who was holding his head up and feeling sleepy.
The silent and boring atmosphere made the four people in the room feel sleepy, even in such a scary and dangerous room.
Qin Nuo waited for the repairman to come, but there was no knock on the door.
“Bang, bang, bang!”
Just as he was thinking, there was a knock on the door. Qin Nuo looked at the other three people, stood up and walked over to open the door.
Outside the door stood a black man carrying a toolbox.
When he saw Qin Nuo, his eyes were filled with fear.
Qin Nuo was very calm: "You are here to repair the air conditioner, right? Come in."
As he said that, he made way.
The black man shook his head: "I will never enter this room."
Qin Nuo said calmly: "Then why did you come up again?"
"I'm just here for show. Compared to this job, I care more about my life."
"Sir, please don't make things difficult for me." said the black man.
Qin Nuo had anticipated this outcome, as this plot also appeared in the movie. He pointed to the three people in the hall and asked, "Can you see? My three friends can't sleep because the air conditioner is broken and it's too hot."
Hearing this, the black man broke out in a cold sweat. He looked at Qin Nuo nervously and spoke word by word, "Guest, I can't see the friend you mentioned."
"There's no one in your living room."
Qin Nuo smiled slightly, a smile that was a little strange and a bit eerie and scary: "Maybe you are dazzled. Come in and finish your work. There is nothing to be afraid of."
As Qin Nuo spoke, all the light bulbs in the room suddenly went out, and the room became dark again.
At the same time, a shrill scream came from the room.
Qin Nuo's expression changed, and when he looked back, he saw a pair of bloodshot eyes flashing inside.
The repairman, Brother Hei, screamed and ran away, with the toolbox in his hand scattered all over the floor.
The door was right in front of me. The light in the corridor and the gloomy darkness of the room formed a sharp contrast, which filled me with a sense of security.
It was as if as long as he stepped out of the corridor, he would be completely free from all the gloom and horror in the room...
In silence, Qin Nuo reached out and decisively closed the door.
He turned around, turned on the small flashlight he found in the closet, and shone it into the hall.
The shrill screams continued, but soon became quieter. Qin Nuo walked over and moved the flashlight in his hand.
In the limited beam of light, a small figure flashed by.
A sinister laugh sounded in his ears. Qin Nuo realized the danger and leaned forward suddenly, feeling a sharp pain in his back.
Qin Nuo fell to the ground, swung the bone-breaking hammer in his hand and smashed it backwards. It seemed that he hit something and heard a muffled groan.
At this time, the lights came on again.
The room became brightly lit. Qin Nuo touched his back and found that his palms were covered in blood.
Looking in the mirror, I saw that the back of my shirt was torn and there was a deep cut.
He stood up and looked up at the situation in the room.
The nervous man had already hidden in the corner of the bathroom with a very ugly expression. The palm of one of his hands was missing and blood was spurting out.
