Zixu fell to the ground, blood splattering on the ground.
Zixu gritted his teeth and tried to get up, staring at the time on the wall clock.
Five fifty-seven minutes.
"There are only three minutes left..."
"Hold on, I still have a chance to win this movie."
Zixu spoke hoarsely. Although his body didn't feel anything, a strong sense of danger spread throughout his body.
He stared straight ahead, his eyes fixed on the ticking second hand, which seemed so slow to him at that moment.
Zixu was in a trance, with a strange feeling spreading in his heart. He could feel his own beating heart.
Again and again, slower and slower...
Like an old, worn-out machine, it eventually stopped working.
In the room, Qin Nuo looked calmly at Zixu, whose head had fallen to the floor and whose mouth was full of blood. He slowly stood up, walked to the bed, and picked up his black suit jacket.
At this time, the clock hand on the wall finally jumped to the position they wanted.
The six bells rang and it was six in the morning.
game over.
"Ding! Congratulations to player Phantom for completing the horror movie dungeon "1408 Phantom Room." The player has accumulated one level of dungeon rewards."
"Next, players can choose to exit the dungeon and claim the first level of rewards, or continue the dungeon and enter the second horror movie theater."
"Note: If players fail a mission in a subsequent instance, their accumulated horror movie rewards will be forfeited. Please choose carefully!"
The game information panel appears before your eyes.
Qin Nuo listened to the game prompts and chose to continue the game without hesitation. He didn't know what the additional reward was, but it wasn't what he wanted.
To get the reward he wanted, he had to complete two more horror movie theaters.
"In 1408: The Phantom Room, I was confused by the game prompts and even the missions from the beginning. Anyone who has seen the movie will think that the biggest threat is an illusion, and the actual threat is the player."
"In this movie, the biggest change to the order is the use of illusions to lure players into killing each other."
Qin Nuo pinched his brows and said helplessly: "Knowing about movies doesn't give you any advantages. Order is the final word."
At this moment, it was still bright outside the window, and the diffuse white mist was already very obvious.
Ignoring the three tragically dead bodies in the room, Qin Nuo walked to the door, picked up the handbag, hung the umbrella on his arm, and reached out to turn the door handle.
With two clicks, the door slowly opened.
In the corridor, the red carpet was as clean as ever, without even a trace of muddy footprints.
After gently closing the door, Qin Nuo finally left room 1408.
"It's been a restless night."
Qin Nuo murmured, feeling more than just a little bit of emotion.
The elevator door opened, and Qin Nuo looked at the man lying in the elevator with a strange expression.
Isn't this the man we met in the corridor last night before entering room 1408, and whose terrifying elements interfered with each other?
The man was lying in the elevator. He had no injuries on his body, but his eyes were rolled back and he had completely fainted.
"Brother, it's dawn."
Qin Nuo kicked it with his foot, but there was no response.
Ignoring him, Qin Nuo pressed his own floor button.
There were only a few people in the lobby of the Dolphin Hotel in the early morning.
The blonde lady at the front desk was still sitting there.
When hotel manager Nick Fury saw Qin Nuo, his dark face changed: "You...you really stayed in room 1408 for a whole night?"
"Yes."
"For decades, no living resident has left that room. We have even called the police and are preparing to dispose of your body." The receptionist covered her mouth with her hand, her face full of surprise.
"Not really, but..."
Qin Nuo shrugged, then looked at the manager Nick Fury and asked, "I guess I wasn't the only guest in room 1408 last night, right?"
Nick Fury looked puzzled and said, "Guest, I don't quite understand what you mean, but last night, there were indeed three guests who checked into rooms on the 14th floor, but not room 1408."
Qin Nuo didn't ask any more questions, but smiled slightly: "Is that so? I understand."
Although the mission was completed, he was still in the plot of this horror movie. Some sensitive language might irritate the NPCs, and he didn't want to touch these minefields.
The receptionist stood up and said, "Sir, your check-out procedures have been completed."
After saying thank you, Qin Nuo took the receipt and deposit, said goodbye to the two of them, and then walked towards the gate.
Nick Fury looked at Qin Nuo and actually asked, "Sir, so... have you found inspiration for your novel?"
After pausing for a moment, Qin Nuo held his forehead and pretended to have a headache, saying, "I have inspiration, but my body is not, especially my kidneys."
After saying this, Qin Nuo pushed the door open and walked out.
…
Outside the Dolphin Hotel, white mist filled the air, cool air blew, and people came and went.
Office workers holding newspapers and bread hurried to catch the tram. Inside the coffee shop, customers leisurely stirred their coffee. There were homeless people in black trench coats and slovenly clothes. The overseas city appearance made Qin Nuo feel a little uncomfortable.
Qin Nuo threw the newspaper in his hand into the trash can on the side, turned up his collar and walked to the side.
"Mission accomplished, but I wonder when the plot of this movie will end?"
Qin Nuo murmured, he wanted to see how big the city was.
Did they really build a city just for the scene of a horror movie?
