Chapter 94 Physical sleep is not a bad thing!

No name...

Qin Nuo was confused by this answer.

It's amnesia.

Or did her parents not give her a name?

Qin Nuo thought for a moment and said, "How about I give you a name, Meng?"

"Dream..." The little girl blinked, not feeling any dislike, nor much like.

"Come on, take me to that room and I'll help you get the music box back." Qin Nuo stood up and said.

When she heard the music box, Meng smiled and walked ahead with her bare feet.

Qin Nuo followed behind, and the child yawned: "Not at all, this is what you call fun?"

"Don't be anxious, why don't you play a game first?" Qin Nuo thought of a way to make the child shut up.

"Why didn't I think of that?" The child took out the game console, sat on Qin Nuo's shoulder and started playing the game. The bright light from the screen shone on his little face, making him look even more terrifying.

Meng took Qin Nuo to the first floor. There was a room door at the back of the innermost corridor.

Meng grabbed Qin Nuo's hand, not daring to go closer, and pointed to the door of the room: "It's inside, the old lady is very fierce, you'd better be careful."

"Why should I be so mean to you? What did you do wrong?" Qin Nuo asked.

Meng shook her head and said, "My brothers stole my music box. I tried to get it back, but the old lady whipped me away."

Qin Nuo thought for a moment, took the child down, put him on the floor, and pointed at Meng: "Brother, I'll give you a task. Help me keep an eye on my sister and don't let her run around, okay?"

Meng is an important character in the main storyline, and Qin Nuo doesn't want to lose her.

The child looked at Meng and said, "I want benefits."

Qin Nuo was speechless, thinking that this kid was smarter than adults.

After thinking for a while, he suddenly asked, "Do you like rainbow candy?"

The little ghost's eyes suddenly lit up: "You have it?"

"More than that, a big can. Watch out, sister, you'll be full." Qin Nuo said, thinking that this candy was really tempting. No matter how mature a child was, they would have no resistance to it.

"Deal, don't lie to me, or I'll beat you up." The child waved his little fist. He was not joking, he could really beat someone up.

Qin Nuo nodded, gave a few more instructions, and then said nothing more. He walked towards the room over there with the oil lamp in hand.

As soon as Qin Nuo left, the child continued playing games.

Meng stood there, looking at Qin Nuo's receding back, then looking at the child, not knowing what to do.

She walked over barefoot and quietly stood behind the child, staring at the game screen with a pair of glass-like eyes...

Crunch.

The door was not locked and was pushed open little by little.

Qin Nuo poked his head in and looked inside the house.

The room was dim. An old-fashioned light bulb hung on the wall, flickering and dimming.

"Is anyone there?" Qin Nuo called softly, closed the door gently and walked in.

In the living room, an old lady was sitting on the sofa, knitting clothes with her hands, and small belly bands were hanging on the side.

A wooden music box is placed on the table, the gears are turning, and the ethereal and pleasant music lingers in the ears.

No need to ask, this must be the music box of dreams.

The old woman didn't move, her head tilted to one side, and she had only knitted half of her bellyband.

Seeing this scene, Qin Nuo hesitated for a moment, walked over lightly, and reached out to the music box.

Although this possibility is not great, maybe it can really be stolen?

However, this hope of luck was eventually shattered.

"Young man, you have to knock on the door before you come in. Didn't your parents teach you that?"

A hoarse voice was heard, and Qin Nuo withdrew his hand awkwardly. On the sofa, the old man woke up at some point and continued to knit his bellyband.

"Well, I saw you were asleep, sorry to disturb you." Qin Nuo said.

"Do you want this music box?" asked the old lady.

"My sister said she lost something here." Qin Nuo touched his nose and said.

"The music box is not hers. Tell that girl to stop thinking about it." The old lady said expressionlessly.

Qin Nuo was speechless. He was already so old, yet he was still acting like a scoundrel with a little girl.

After a moment of contemplation, he said, "Grandma, how about I exchange your music box for a new one? Yours is old and the sound has changed."

"Nothing else, just this. It helps me put my grandchildren to bed."

Grandma didn't even look at Qin Nuo, and her tone gradually became impatient.

She suddenly stopped sewing, looked at Qin Nuo with empty eyes, and said in a bad tone: "You should go."

"If you disturb my grandchildren, I will make you into a toy for my beloved grandchildren to play with."

"Bang!!"

As he was speaking, the innermost door was suddenly slammed open, and a large amount of ghost energy poured into the living room.

Qin Nuo didn't see any ghost, but he saw dense small footprints on the wall, moving irregularly.

There were footprints on the table, TV, and sofa, and things were flying everywhere they passed, and the sound of breaking things was endless. In an instant, the living room became a mess.

"My dear grandchildren, can you all go back to bed?" the old lady shouted around, turning up the volume of the music box.

There were indeed fewer footprints.

But there are still some naughty ones who are still sneaking around.

Finally, grandma stood up herself and threw the two remaining naughty grandchildren back into the room.

Qin Nuo looked at this scene and thought to himself, how could this old lady, a lonely widower, have so many grandchildren?

The old woman held the music box, her face as dry as tree bark gloomy. "Why is this thing not working anymore?"

As he spoke, the strength of his palm increased, intending to crush the music box.

Seeing this, Qin Nuo quickly said, "Wait!"
