She was about to leave when she noticed something.
Qin Nuo tilted his head to look, and his expression changed.
The dead white cat in the box suddenly made some movements.
But there was no breath or sign of waking up. Instead, blood flowed from the mouth, the eyes were sunken, the fur was wet, and a foul smell spread in the air.
"This cat..."
Xiaolan pinched her nose and took two steps back.
Qin Nuo asked, "Do you know this cat?"
"How could I not recognize him? He's one of our nine little friends. Back then, Lingxiang loved him the most, but later..."
"Strange, why is it here? It stinks so much, why hasn't Lingxiang thrown it away yet?"
Xiaolan couldn't stand the stench and said to Qin Nuo, "You deal with it. I'm leaving first."
Having said that, she hugged the things and left the room.
Qin Nuo stared at the cat, narrowed his eyes slightly, and put the lid of the cardboard box back on.
Then he walked over to the bed, looked at the clock on the wall, and began to lie down.
The Blood Eye Ghost was surprised: "You really are sleeping?"
"Why don't you sleep if you're tired?"
"Keep yourself alert so that you can move tonight."
After saying that, Qin Nuo really fell asleep, and soon a light snoring sound came from his nose.
The Blood Eye Ghost was speechless: "This guy is really bold."
Time slips away bit by bit.
Soon, the light outside the window gradually disappeared, and darkness swallowed the room.
After an unknown amount of time, the clock on the wall rang a few times.
Qin Nuo opened his eyes immediately.
I sat up, took a moment to relax, and looked at the clock again.
It's exactly twelve o'clock.
Qin Nuo asked the Blood Eye Ghost, "Isn't anyone coming in?"
The Blood Eye Ghost asked back, "Who do you want to come in?"
"What a coincidence! I was hoping a pretty sister would come in and coax me to sleep."
Qin Nuo stretched himself, got out of bed, and said, "It's time. Let's go out and take a look."
