Facing his daughter, the middle-aged man's eyes were full of doting. He reached out his hand, stroked her a few times, and said with a forced smile: "Don't worry, no matter what, Dad will love you."
The little girl then asked, "What about Grandpa? Mom seems to hate him..."
The middle-aged man blinked, hesitated for a moment, and changed the subject: "I'm going to brush my teeth and wash my face. I've made breakfast for you. Come downstairs and eat."
The little girl could only nod, turned off the tablet, jumped off the chair, and walked towards the corridor.
The middle-aged man glanced at Qin Nuo, and Qin Nuo turned and left without staying any longer.
Back in the room, Qin Nuo looked at the counter and thought that Shu Yue should have woken up, so he went to knock on the door.
The door opened, and Shu Yue was holding a bowl of yogurt and cereal in her hand. Judging from her energetic look, she must have slept well, at least better than Rod.
"Where did you get this breakfast?" Qin Nuo asked.
"Go downstairs and ask the landlord for it." Shu Yue said, handing it to Qin Nuo: "Do you want to try it?"
Qin Nuo waved his hand: "Eat it yourself."
Looking at the mess in the house, he asked, "Has the cleaner come yet?"
"She came, but she cleaned very badly, so I kicked her out." Shu Yue said calmly.
Qin Nuo thought to himself that this girl was really fierce and she really didn't tolerate anyone.
Shu Yue said: "I just heard you go out, where are you going?"
"Let's check some things. We may have to stay here for a few more days. The landlords in the hotel may have things we want." Qin Nuo said.
"But I have no money."
"It's okay, Rod has money."
Shu Yue smiled slightly and nodded.
Then he scooped up a spoonful and put it in his mouth, his expression slightly enjoying it, and asked again: "Brother Qin, this is really delicious, don't you want to try it?"
Qin Nuo still waved his hand, thinking that this girl's enthusiasm was good, but didn't she know the difference between men and women?
After chatting with Shu Yue for a while, Qin Nuo returned to his room. At this moment, Rod had woken up and was rubbing his eyes. Although he had slept for a while, he still looked exhausted.
Looking at his appearance, Qin Nuo couldn't help but said, "Why don't you sleep a little longer?"
"You don't have to go to work or anything, so why are you getting up so early?"
Rod touched his stomach and said, "I want to sleep too, but I'm too hungry."
Qin Nuo took out a pack of compressed biscuits from his pocket and threw it into Rod's hand: "This can fill your stomach."
"Where did you get this?" Rod quickly tore it open and couldn't wait to eat it. He choked and pounded his chest several times before he recovered.
"I got it from the front desk." Qin Nuo also tore open a package and started eating.
Rod nodded and asked vaguely, "What are you going to do today?"
"You don't have to do anything, just sleep. We'll have to stay for two more days, but it's just money..."
Rod quickly said, "I'll take care of this."
Now if he wants to leave Liekou Village alive, it all depends on Qin Nuo. He will naturally not refuse if it is within his ability.

After closing the door, Qin Nuo left the room and walked downstairs.
At this moment, it was already early morning, the hotel was all white, fog still filled the hotel, and the air was damp and cold.
In the lobby on the first floor, at the front desk, an old man was leaning on a rattan chair, resting.
Qin Nuo had just walked over when the old man suddenly said, "What are you doing down here so early? The hotel doesn't provide breakfast. If you want to go to a breakfast shop, it's a kilometer away."
Qin Nuo blinked and said, "I'm just free and can't sleep, so I came down for a walk."
“I see.”
"You went to the front desk first, teasing my granddaughter, and now you come down here again. You really look quite free."
The old man opened his eyes, stared at Qin Nuo, and said calmly.
"Did you see everything?"
"There's surveillance on the computer."
The old man sat up and looked at Qin Nuo with a half-smile: "Young man, you don't come to my little hotel just to stay here, do you?"
"What are you talking about? What else can I do in the hotel if I don't stay in a room?" Qin Nuo said with a dry laugh.
The old man habitually took out a cigarette and said slowly, "Who knows?"
Qin Nuo pondered inwardly, then changed the subject and said, "Master, you have a sharp eye after all."
"Actually, we are from out of town, but the people here don't like us, so we came to the hotel and settled down temporarily."
"What are you doing here?" It seemed that the old man had guessed something, but he still asked.
"God."
"I heard that it can do anything, and we want to meet it too." Qin Nuo licked his lips, his eyes and expression full of fanaticism.
"I heard that it can bring everything, including wealth and glory, and it can satisfy everything."
The old man's face was very calm: "Indeed, it is possible, but only within Liekou Village."
"Would you like to stay here forever, unable to go out, and enjoy everything you want?"
"I'm tired of the hustle and bustle outside. It's not impossible to be in such a paradise where no one will disturb me." Qin Nuo answered directly.
"If that's what you think, I can't say anything."
"If you want to see the gods, you need to pray. To fulfill your wish, you need to offer something of equal value. Do you have it?" asked the old man.
"I had made preparations before coming here." Qin Nuo nodded.
"Okay, come here after twelve o'clock and I will take you to see him." After a moment of silence, the old man spoke.
Qin Nuo listened, his eyes full of surprise.
