In the cold corridor, Lao Mu put his hand on the door handle, hesitating inside.
His face was calm, and he was thinking calmly about countermeasures in his heart.
Kong Yu's voice continued to be heard from the intercom, and Qin Nuo's voice seemed to be heard next to him.
"Which room are you in? I'm on the third floor now and I forgot which room it is." Lao Mu continued to ask, his eyes flickering slightly.
"Room 316, you haven't arrived yet?"
After hearing what was said, Lao Mu decisively turned off the microphone and took his hand away from the door handle.
Then, he walked to one side of the corridor.
The audience in the live broadcast room asked a series of question marks.
Lao Mu ignored it. He knew that the live broadcast room was also fake, both in terms of the number of viewers and the barrage of comments.
There was some movement in the corridor.
Then, two beams of light shone over. Lao Mu put one hand behind his back and asked, "Who?"
"Lao Mu, why are you here?"
The two people in front were Shanhe and Xiaocheng. When they saw Lao Mu, there was a hint of surprise on their faces.
Lao Mu didn't rush to say anything, but asked: "Tell me your game ID."
Although Xiaocheng and the other person were confused, they still told each other their game IDs.
Only then did Lao Mu take out his hands from behind his back and explain simply, "There was something wrong with my microphone. A ghost impersonated your voice and lured me here."
"Can you do this?" Shanhe's pretty face changed slightly.
"In the movie Gonjiam, it is indeed possible." Xiaocheng recalled the plot.
"Look at the time. The movie is already halfway through. If we don't find the target, we'll be dead soon." Lao Mu said. He got involved partly because he couldn't wait any longer. He needed to take his destiny into his own hands.
"This is what we found." Shanhe handed over a sketch.
In the portrait, a little girl in red is sitting in the middle, surrounded by patients in striped hospital gowns. They sit there obediently, like little children.
The little girl in red seemed to be talking about something, and everyone was very interested and listened very carefully...
"It's of no practical use. We don't care what the relationship is between the little girl in red and the mental hospital. We just need to take her away from here." Old Mu shook his head and said.
"If you look closely, they seem to be staying in the same room in the portrait. The girl is sitting on the bed, and the others are sitting on chairs or on the floor. This means that this is her room," Xiaocheng said.
Old Mu's eyes moved, and he looked at the door of the room, his eyes lit up: "Room 306."
"Let's go and take a look."
"I wonder what happened to that player named Phantom?" Xiaocheng asked.
"It's his first time participating in a level 7 dungeon. He has a bad character. I guess he's dead. Let's just wait and see his fate." Lao Mu said calmly. In his eyes, Qin Nuo was labeled a burden the moment he showed up as a newcomer.
The other two listened, shrugged their shoulders, and had no intention of contacting Qin Nuo to meet up. They went to room 306 first.
…
And the other side.
Qin Nuo and Kong Yu were already standing in front of Ward 306. They shone their flashlights on the door number and nodded, "This is it."
Kong Yu was confused: "Why don't we go and join the others?"
"It's a mess now, what's the point of reuniting?"
"Besides, how can you be sure that the person who meets up with us is the real person?" Qin Nuo looked at Kong Yu and said with a smile.
This made Kong Yu think about it with great fear. His heart skipped a beat and he said, "Can you please not say it so horribly?"
"So what are we doing here?"
"Come here to have fun!"
After Qin Nuo finished speaking, he kicked the door open fiercely, and the rotten door opened with a bang.
The flashlight shone in and the two men came in cautiously. To their surprise, this ward was a single room. Many things were old and dilapidated, but still neatly arranged. The potted plants were placed on the bay window, although they had withered for a long time. Several dolls were placed on the bed, intact, but due to age, they had faded severely.
Old, but neat.
"It looks like a girl's room..." Kong Yu looked around and muttered.
"It's the little girl's room I'm looking for."
Qin Nuo said, putting the flashlight and camera aside and starting to search.
Kong Yu looked at him and couldn't help but say, "Sixth Son, are you really being polite?"
Qin Nuo ignored him and rummaged through the personal belongings in the drawer without any scruples.
Some personal belongings caught Qin Nuo's attention, causing his eyes to change slightly.
At this moment, some noises suddenly came from the bathroom.
Kong Yu's face changed and he became nervous. He quickly pulled out a shovel he had picked up from his back, holding a sanitary napkin in his other hand.
I gently kicked the bathroom door open with my foot. The bathroom inside was empty. I could clearly hear the sound of water, but the bathtub and washbasin inside had long withered and were even overgrown with weeds.
When Kong Yu was confused, a voice came from behind.
"Are you new patients?"
Kong Yu turned around suddenly and was about to throw the sanitary napkin in his hand away, but when he saw that it was a little girl about ten years old, he stopped in time.
The girl was wearing a bright red dress and had her hair tied up in a princess style. Her hair was already sparse and lacked combing, making her look more like a kitten with its fur standing on end.
The girl in red was looking at Qin Nuo and the other man with a confused look.
Before Kong Yu could speak, Qin Nuo said, "We arrived today, and the dean asked us to walk around and get familiar with the environment."
"We were both diagnosed with mental illness the day before yesterday and were sent to a mental hospital together."
