When the ghost fog enveloped and covered every corner of the city, all the neon lights went out in an instant. Under the silence, there was not only darkness but also horror.
When civilization invades, the original rules of checks and balances will be broken.
In the absence of rules, life becomes cheap, even worthless, and all kinds of cruel scenes are presented one by one.
Inside the city's tall buildings, a tall figure was walking around. His whole body was charred and emitting black smoke, but flames were dancing in the air.
It was moving slowly, its skin charred with dark red flesh, emitting a terrifyingly high temperature.
Wherever it passed, the green belts on the roadside withered in an instant and lost all their moisture.
It stopped and turned to look inside a house, where a TV channel was playing rock music.
The family inside is watching TV happily. It seems warm, but the style of the picture always seems scary.
The rock sound from the TV seemed to be particularly sensitive to the Burning Ghost, and its originally dull eyes became extremely violent.
"I don't want to hear that!"
The family inside heard the sound and saw the horrible burning ghost. The owner hurriedly got up and turned off the TV.
"I'll turn it off for you."
The Burning Ghost spoke in a sinister voice, and suddenly a large amount of flames emerged from the billowing black smoke that came out of its body.
As his palm swung out, the black smoke and flames all quickly rushed into the house, just like a flame meeting gas. In an instant, the whole house exploded, and countless flames rushed out, extending several meters away.
In just a second, the endless flames quickly disappeared, and the house was still in a charred mess. Among the scattered debris, several charred and bloody corpses were buried there.
There was no sound, the Burning Ghost quieted down and continued to move forward woodenly.
He kept muttering the same word: "Flies...flies..."
…
In a small alley, there was a fat-headed and big-eared ghost. It looked like a human, but its facial features were swollen and ugly due to excessive fat.
Next to it, several residents hid in the corner, shivering.
They dared not resist or escape, even though the exit was right in front of them. The scene was like pigs, cattle, and sheep in a slaughterhouse, or mice and rabbits in a laboratory.
The gnaw ghost slumped on the ground, grabbed one and put it into his mouth, and the shrill scream stopped abruptly.
The sounds of gnawing and chewing made the listeners collapse in despair. They sobbed softly and closed their eyes in despair.
Suddenly, the gnaw ghost stopped eating. From its mouth filled with minced meat and blood, it spat out two words: "I'm tired of it. I don't want to eat anymore."
As it spoke, it stood up and walked towards the outside. The remaining three people in the corner had already been paralyzed with fear.
The Gnawing Ghost walked on the street, its heavy footsteps landing on the ground, causing the surrounding cars to tremble slightly.
Suddenly, it smelled something, and its eyes became excited, staring directly at the back of the car next to it: "Half-ghost fly, I see you."
The man who was hiding behind the car and holding his breath suddenly had his pupils contracted, and then he ran to the side in panic.
The gnawing ghost was following behind slowly, each of its steps covering several meters, leaving no possibility of escape.
Finally, at a school gate, the gnawing ghost grabbed the half-ghost man with one hand. He screamed in horror and showed signs of ghostification on his body, but this little ghost power was insignificant in that hand.
The half-ghost man suddenly vomited blood and exerted force with his palm, causing his ribs to break and his organs to rupture.
"Little mouse, why don't you run away?"
The gnaw ghost smiled strangely, narrowed his eyes, then opened his mouth and put the food in his hand into his mouth bit by bit.
Wanting to finish their snacks, the gnawing ghosts slowly stood up. The taste of the half-ghost always made them salivate and lingered on the taste.
It was about to leave when suddenly the ghost fog in the school nearby was much thicker than the surrounding area, and it was impossible to see clearly with the naked eye.
The gnaw ghost narrowed his eyes, and then, he discovered something. His face trembled wildly, and his eyes became extremely bright.
"It turns out there are a few little mice hiding here."
As he spoke, a lot of saliva flowed from the corners of his mouth.
Inside the school, the ghost fog was gradually becoming thinner.
Deep in the campus, several figures slowly appeared.
A stone lion crouched beside it, looking hopeless. "I don't know why the horror zone disappeared, but even if God has mercy on me, I'm going to shut myself up in there..."
"Every day, I face either the living dead or the unliving dead, or I play games with a bunch of annoying kids. From now on, I will be disgusted by going to school!"
A blind man holding a cane said calmly, "It's strange. Although we're still a little bit short, we haven't conquered the dungeon yet."
A girl with a ponytail crossed her arms, her pretty face solemn. "That's definitely not right. The horror zone has disappeared, but why hasn't the ghostly aura in the air dissipated?"
The woman in a black robe beside him said hoarsely, "Outside..."
Just as he finished speaking, the gigantic figure of the Gnawing Ghost appeared before them. His swollen, ugly face was filled with a ravenous appetite. "What a rare treat! I stumbled upon it."
The few people looked at the gnawing ghost without any panic, but were instead overly calm.
The pale-faced man in a windbreaker asked in confusion, "Didn't the horror zone disappear? Why are there still ghosts?"
Qin Yushi narrowed her eyes and looked around.
The pitch-black sky, the ghostly aura that filled the air, and the horror that could be seen everywhere made them all vaguely aware of something.
