Qin Nuo walked to the cage and reached out to hold the railing.
Xiangzhu looked at Qin Nuo who had just woken up, and said in surprise: "Why are you still here... Where did your inner demon go?"
Qin Nuo said: "I am confused too, but it is most likely gone."
Xiangzhu stood in front of Chu Yue and said, "This place is already disappearing, what else do you want to do?"
"She just wants to stay here quietly. Why do you have to force her to face things she doesn't want to see?"
Qin Nuo said: "If she really thinks so, I won't force her."
As she spoke, she fixed her gaze on Chu Yue: "Chu Yue, do you really want to stay here forever, in peace and quiet, without being disturbed by anyone?"
"If that's the case, I won't bother you anymore."
Although he said this, he knew very well that as long as Chu Yue stayed here, new inner demons would appear.
"Go ahead. I answered for my daughter. This is what she wanted," said Xiangzhu.
"Okay, but before that, can you return the severed palm to me first?" Qin Nuo asked.
The fragrant pig hesitated for a moment and pushed his hand out of the cage.
Qin Nuo picked up the broken hand, glanced at Chu Yue in the corner, stopped talking, and turned away.
But after taking only two steps, he heard Chu Yue's voice: "Do those people outside still hate me?"
Qin Nuo turned around, and Chu Yue in the corner raised her head slightly, revealing a pair of eyes.
Qin Nuo felt complicated when he heard this.
He shook his head and said seriously, "You have to believe that there are bad people in this world, but there are more good people."
"Just like when you were being bullied online, there were actually many people who believed in you and protected you, but at that time, you paid attention to those negative comments."
"If you're also running away, those who love and protect you may be disappointed and may even believe those fabricated rumors."
Qin Nuo stretched out his hand and passed through the cold railing.
"Why bother to care about what others think? There are still many people in this world who love you."
Chu Yue looked at Qin Nuo, and her gray eyes showed some luster.
She stared at the hand and slowly stood up.
"Daughter..." The fragrant pig looked at Chu Yue. It wanted to stop her, but gave up.
Step by step, like a baby who has just learned to stand, trying hard to walk.
Every step she took seemed to be subject to huge emotional changes. She looked at Qin Nuo with anxiety and fear, but also with determination.
Finally she reached out and held Qin Nuo's hand.
At the same time, the surrounding butterflies began to flutter and flew towards the path.
Chu Yue walked through the cage, looking at the souls that had broken free from the chains and were flying towards the butterfly. Even though they would realize that if they left here, they might turn into ashes, they did not hesitate at all.
Chu Yue looked at the densely packed souls, her pretty face dazed.
"Is all this caused by me..."
Qin Nuo said: "There's no need to blame yourself, that's not you."
Chu Yue lowered her head, pondered for a moment, and said, "I want to leave here and take a good look outside."
The fragrant pig came out of the cage, and after the butterfly left, the iron cage behind it gradually disappeared.
"Daughter, have you really thought it through?"
"Think it through clearly."
"I consider myself an optimistic person, but I'm actually very selfish. No matter what setbacks I encounter, I always think about myself first."
"Just like when I slit my wrists, I wanted to be free, but I never thought about how much pain my parents would feel when they saw my cold body."
"I'm free, but my parents have suffered. I'm so selfish and stupid!"
Chu Yue lowered her head, her body trembling slightly, but this time she didn't cry. She squatted down and picked up the fragrant pig.
A smile appeared on her pretty face: "Let's get out of here."
Qin Nuo wanted to walk in front, but Chu Yue took her hand and said with a smile: "Can you hold my hand forever?"
"certainly."
Qin Nuo was stunned for a moment and nodded seriously.
Inside the cold and dim blood-red prison, as it collapsed, countless wronged souls were set free, and their excited voices echoed in every corner of the prison.
To Chu Yue, these sounds were like whips covered with thorns, lashing her.
She closed her eyes and held Qin Nuo's hand tightly, but her steps no longer trembled as she followed him towards the light at the end.
The door at the end of the exit was now shining brightly and could be found in every corner.
Like moths to a flame, those wronged souls rushed in madly and without hesitation.
Qin Nuo looked at the light, but his mood became heavier and heavier.
All the wronged souls, including Chu Yue herself, don’t know what is behind that door.
They are just doors of hope that the ego believes are liberation and freedom.
"Chu Yue."
The light gate was right in front of them, Qin Nuo suddenly spoke, and the light shone on their faces.
Looking at the girl's fair, rosy cheeks, Qin Nuo said seriously, "Promise me that no matter what time, you will be your happy self."
Chu Yue smiled: "Well, I promise you."
As the sound fell, both of them stepped into the gate of light...
Qin Nuo had to close his eyes due to the strong glare in front of his eyes, but he held the other hand tightly.
After an unknown amount of time, the stinging light began to fade away.
Qin Nuo adapted and slowly opened his eyes. The first thing he did was to look at his hands. His palms were empty.
There was no one behind him.
And I appeared in the familiar corridor of the carriage.
