Jiang Xinhai lazily looked at the draft paper with the song "Red Bean" written on it in his hand, and hummed a few lines softly.
With her voice and the beautiful melody of the song, everyone present listened with bated breath, afraid of disturbing her.
The comments were full of praise, and the Xinhai Party overwhelmingly filled the screen:
"My Xin Hai's voice is like it was kissed by God!"
"Who is God? You are not allowed to kiss her! You are not allowed to kiss her! Only I can kiss Xinhai! Wuuuuuuu Xinhai, please take me away!"
“Why does this song make me want to cry?”
"It sounds nice, but the boy who loved listening to me sing 'Red Bean' will no longer look at me with starry eyes."
"My mom loved this song the most. Every day when she picked me up from school, she would hum it. When I heard Xinhai humming it, I felt like I was back in those days... She's been gone for two years. I miss her so much."
"When I first heard this song when I was young, I loved it and downloaded it. Now I've been a fan of Xinhai for ten years."
Jiang Xinhai hummed for a while, then lazily put down the paper in his hand and said:
"It seems that the landlord here is a fan of Xin Hai."
Qin Yunchu looked at the ceiling.
Jiang Xinhai didn't seem to know that this was Chen Ya's house.
She decided to keep it a secret.
He Ling smiled and replied to Jiang Xinhai, "Maybe he's a fan of Zhichi!"
Wang Feng was trying to hold back his laughter. Jiang Xinhai was about to get angry when he suddenly saw Xu Xiangxiao and pointed at her and said:
"What is Xiang Xiao doing?"
Everyone looked at Xu Xiangxiao and saw her stuffing oranges into her mouth.
Looking at the table again, I found that all the oranges in the fruit bowl had been eaten.
The table in front of her was covered with orange peels.
Everyone finally couldn't hold it in anymore and burst into laughter.
Xu Xiangxiao looked up in surprise and looked at them in confusion, wondering why they suddenly laughed.
At this moment, there was a commotion outside the door. He Ling ran outside to see, only to find a rural aunt feeding ducks there.
After seeing He Ling, the aunt was a little panicked and said hurriedly: "Oh, sorry, I'll leave right away."
He Ling looked at the ducks and asked, "Auntie, are these chicks and ducklings all yours?"
Auntie said apologetically, "I'm sorry, I didn't take the animals away. I'm sorry to have disturbed you."
He Ling's face turned red when she heard this. They were just playing in the house and there was nothing serious to talk about.
This aunt is busy making a living, and she is doing her real work.
"Auntie, is this your house?"
"It belongs to my son. I lived here, but when I heard you were coming, I moved down the mountain overnight."
He Ling felt distressed and walked over to pull her aunt and said:
"I'm sorry to disturb your peace and quiet. Come sit inside and rest for a while."
Auntie wiped the sweat off her face and said, "No, I have something else to do."
"Come in and have a cup of tea first, and we'll help you later."
He helped the aunt into the room, introduced her to the people in the house, and learned that the landlady's surname was Xu.
Aunt Xu sat down, gulped down a cup of tea, and said:
"My son said yesterday that he wanted to rent out the house, so I moved my things out overnight as he asked. I was exhausted all night."
Everyone looked at each other, and He Ling asked, "Weren't they notified and prepared in advance?"
"Oh, my son is always making one thing after another," Aunt Xu said. "Last night he suddenly told me that someone important was coming to visit and asked me to help him move his things."
Except for Qin Yunchu, everyone else had some thoughts in their minds after hearing what Aunt Xu said.
They thought that Aunt Xu might want to express her appreciation for the guests.
But from what I heard, I just felt that Aunt Xu's son was a bit snobbish.
The guests were embarrassed to say anything to each other, but the comments were all very unpleasant:
"Auntie's face is purple from exhaustion. Why doesn't her son go and help her? He just orders his old mother around."
"Celebrities think they're big shots, and they order their own mothers around. People like that, haha..."
"Can you please tell me who this person is? I want to find out more about him and avoid him when making friends with him in the future."
…
He Ling also guessed that the atmosphere of the barrage would not be good, and quickly made up for it:
"Actually, Auntie, there's no need to rush. We're just visiting your home, and we're afraid of disturbing your life!"
Aunt Xu smiled and waved her hand, saying, "No, my son is a capable man, so I just listen to him."
He Ling asked curiously, "What does your son do for a living?"
Aunt Xu paused and said, "I'm not sure. Before he was fifteen, he was always sitting at home writing and drawing, and he never let me know what he was doing."
"What about after fifteen?"
"After he turned fifteen, he suddenly said he wanted to go out, and then he left home for many years," said Aunt Xu.
He Ling asked in surprise, "Didn't he finish high school?"
"He dropped out of junior high school," Aunt Xu said. "He said what he learned in school was boring and a waste of his time."
When these words were spoken, the barrage of comments completely exploded.
"How could he not go to junior high school? This must be a script written by the program team. Do you know about the nine-year compulsory education?"
"You above don't understand reality. There are so many rural students who don't attend junior high school and skip classes every day. How can we control them?"
"No wonder he's such a snob. People who haven't read much are like that."
He Ling said a little embarrassedly: "Then, where is the child's father?"
"The child's father died a long time ago. I raised him alone. He is my only child."
