After everyone reached the top of the mountain, the house stood quietly and gradually appeared before everyone's eyes.
It is much more luxurious than people imagine.
This is not a single house, but two two-story buildings, a small bungalow, and a farmyard in the middle.
The small buildings are built with red bricks and green tiles, and the walls are painted white.
A simple wall made of bluestone lies around the building like a sleeping dragon.
In the yard, clothes were hanging on the clothesline and rice was drying on the ground.
Three chickens were pecking at rice on the ground, and a big white goose swam up from the pond behind the yard and shook its feathers.
When the little dog tied to the courtyard wall saw people coming, it stood up like a sentry and looked at the uninvited guests with its round black eyes.
After everyone entered the yard, talking and laughing, Director Tian clapped his hands again and said loudly:
"Okay, then, let's start the second task now, allocating accommodations."
Hearing what he said, everyone became a little nervous.
"As you can see, there are six bedrooms here. There's one for each of us six people."
"According to the rules and the landlord's commitment, once you occupy a room, you have full use of the room and own all the items and furniture in the room."
"After observing these rooms, please gather in the courtyard to decide which room you will be assigned."
After hearing the mission, everyone immediately perked up.
They can tell at a glance that there are good and bad rooms.
The choice of room this time will directly determine your living standards for the next period of time.
The camera also followed everyone to check the room. After checking, they gathered in the yard and everyone had a rough idea in their minds.
Of these six rooms, five have their own advantages and disadvantages, but the conditions are similar.
The only small bungalow with only two rooms is the most simple and has the worst conditions.
The other five rooms were all pretty good, but being assigned that small bungalow was terrible.
The commentators also noticed the difference in the rooms, and some complained. Director Tian immediately explained:
"The house here wasn't originally in such good condition. The landlord came back after he became successful and paid for the renovations."
"The other rooms were renovated to villa standards, except for the small bungalow, where he lived as a child and has a lot of affection for it, so it hasn't been renovated much."
"I have a suggestion," He Ling said, "Let's decide by rock-paper-scissors. That's fairer."
After this proposal was put forward, it was unanimously approved by everyone.
In the first round of rock-paper-scissors, the youngest Qin Yunshang won.
She proudly waved her little fist in the air, as if celebrating her victory.
"So, which one should I choose?"
After walking around the house, she came back to the crowd with a smile on her face, pointing at the small bungalow.
"I choose...that one!"
He Ling showed a look of surprise on her face: "Little sister Yunshang, are you sure?"
"Sure."
Soon, waves of comments floated by, all praising:
"This little sister is so sensible! I thought she was a spoiled girl."
"The road is getting wider!"
"This boy will become a great man in the future!"
Qin Yunchu secretly admired this sister in his heart.
Among everyone, her status was undoubtedly the most humble. If she occupied the best room but let Xu Xiangxiao and Jiang Xinhai stay in the worse rooms, she would definitely be criticized.
If she gave it up voluntarily, she would appear to be very generous.
This choice means you will suffer injustice for a while but be happy for a lifetime.
"Hehe, I just went to check it out. That small room has the most things in it. It must be full of treasures!" Qin Yunshang said, "It must be fun to live in there!"
He Ling smiled and said, "While we have time, let's help little sister Yun Shang clean up so that she won't feel too uncomfortable living here."
In the afternoon, after everyone settled down, they gathered in the largest living room to chat.
Qin Yunshang appeared mysteriously, threw a notebook in front of everyone, and said loudly:
"I told you there was a treasure, look!"
Everyone looked over and found that what she had thrown on the table was just a tattered notebook.
"What is this?" Qin Yunchu asked curiously.
"I found it in a drawer. I just took a quick look and it looks like the landlord's doodles."
Qin Yunchu blushed when he heard this.
Isn’t that Chen Ya’s notebook?
"Put it back. It's not good to peek at other people's things." Qin Yunchu said.
Qin Yunshang shook her head stubbornly: "No, the director said that everything in the room is personal, so this notebook is mine now!"
Jiang Xinhai said from the side: "The landlord should have cleared the area before. He didn't take the notebook away. He probably thought it didn't matter if he didn't take it away."
Qin Yunchu smiled bitterly: "You can read it yourself, but don't read it in front of the live audience!"
Qin Yunshang said, "Of course, I originally planned to use it as a pastime. I'm staying here for such a long time that I even forgot to bring a book to read."
Qin Yunchu complained in his heart: When did his sister become so fond of reading? How come she didn't know?
Qin Yunshang grabbed the notebook, flipped through two pages at random, and a piece of paper fell to the ground.
She picked it up and took a look. There were lines and musical notation on the paper, which Qin Yunshang couldn't understand.
"What is this? 'Red Bean'?"
Xu Xiangxiao looked over, and Jiang Xinhai was stunned. He stretched out his hand and said, "Let me see?"
Qin Yunshang handed the paper over. Jiang Xinhai glanced at it and immediately said affirmatively:
"This is the music score and lyrics for 'Red Bean'."
