## Volume 4: Phoenix Crying in the Ninth Heaven
> The morning at the General's Mansion was broken by Erbao's baby-sounding alarm.
> "Oh no! The bad guys are stealing candy!"
>The entrance of the Pacifier Gold Shop was crowded with people waving "sugar tickets", and Sanbao's rainbow candy reserves were emptied overnight.
>ZeroBill’s unconscious signature was hyped by scalpers as a “bank president’s credit certificate,” leading to a bank run.
>Chenbao’s abacus deduced “virtual candy coins”, and Erbao’s pacifier became an anti-counterfeiting verifier.
"This system promulgates the 'Pacifier Liquidity Guarantee Law,'" the venomous system printed on the candy ticket. "Article 1: Zero Treasure signatures are managed as cosmic currency reserves and are prohibited from market circulation!"
---
The rocking riot of the Holy Light Chili Vine was forcibly suppressed by Chen Bao's "Absolute Silent Matrix," like a giant mute button pressed on the General's Mansion. A deliberately low-key atmosphere permeated the mansion, a sense of survival. A Luo, along with the surviving Gu insects, rebuilt their home in the ruins. Qi Bao was confined to humming "Abacus Certified Lullaby" whispered into the Silence Matrix. San Bao's production of Rainbow Candy was strictly regulated to prevent it from becoming a "stimulant." Even Ling Bao's tiny hands and feet were tightly wrapped in soft brocade, preventing any rhythmic output.
Erbao Su Heng's Pacifier Gold Shop became the only glimmer of life in this oppressive atmosphere. Under Chenbao's strict oversight, the gold shop's operations operated smoothly. Collateral entering the warehouse required an "energy compatibility assessment," and interest payments were relegated to traditional rainbow candies. Qibao's holy seal and Lingbao's "footprint" signature (certified only by the bank president, not by a perpetual number of fluctuations) ensured that every candy ticket appeared legitimate and secure. Erbao, pacifier in hand, sat behind the high counter (supported by three cushions), his face striving to maintain the dignity of a "bank president." He gazed upon the "treasures" piled in the rattan jars and the overflowing candies of rainbow candy supplied by Sanbao under the counter, feeling delighted.
However, this fragile peace was quietly broken by an undercurrent from the black market in the royal city.
**Section 1: Sugar Ticket Crisis and Bank Run**
That morning, just as the sky was getting light, the gates to the General's Mansion hadn't even opened yet, but outside, a clamor of people was already surging! A dense crowd of people, men, women, young and old, filled the street in front of the mansion, each waving candy coupons with pacifier images and the Seven Treasures Holy Light seal! The crowd was excited, and their shouts shook the sky:
"Add sugar! Add sugar! Open the door!"
"Boss! My family is waiting for the sugar to be cooked...er...eaten!"
"My candy ticket! The real thing! Stamped with the Holy Light Seal!"
"Get out of the way! I was here first! This is a super candy ticket with the 'President's autograph'!"
Several muscular men crowded in the front, brandishing several distinctly different candy tickets. Besides the usual pacifier imprints and holy light emblems, the blank spaces on the tickets boasted a few incredibly subtle "graffiti" shimmering with a faint platinum halo. Those were clearly the hand of Second Treasure Su Heng, clutching Zero Treasure Su Ling, unconsciously scratching across the candy tickets. These were meaningless, yet evocative, childish strokes!
At some point, an insider tip spread on the black market: Candy tickets bearing the "Eternal Number" autograph of His Highness Ling (Ling Bao) were the "President's Certificate of Credit" of the Naizi Gold Bank. Not only did they offer higher interest rates, they were also guaranteed priority redemption at critical moments and could even become family heirlooms! This rumor spread like wildfire, fueled by scalpers and the proliferation of forged candy tickets imitating Ling Bao's handwriting. Overnight, nearly everyone holding candy tickets flocked to the General's Mansion, demanding to exchange their "paper" for actual rainbow candy!
"Wow! Bad guys! So many bad guys! Steal Hengheng's candies!" Second child Su Heng was startled awake by the loud noise outside. He peeked through the crack in the door and saw the dark crowd and the waving candy tickets. His face turned pale and his golden pacifier fell off in fear! He scrambled to the vault and pushed open the door to see - the rainbow candy reserve jar that was piled full yesterday, after a night of crazy "pre-redemption" (the night guards redeemed the candy tickets for those who expired that day according to the rules), only a thin layer of candy was left at the bottom of the jar!
Erbao's sharp, baby-like voice, tinged with tears, instantly pierced the tranquility of the General's Mansion:
"Oh no! Brother Chenchen! Auntie A'Luo! Mother! The bad guys...the bad guys are trying to steal Tangtang! Tangtang...is gone! Wow——!"
**Section 2: Virtual Candy Coin and Pacifier Verification**
Erbao’s crying was like an alarm, instantly alarming everyone!
Su Li, Xiao Jue, and A'Luo quickly rushed to the front hall. Through the crack in the door, they saw the throng of people outside, their faces grim. Chen Bao Su Chen followed closely behind, holding an abacus. His face was calm, and the beads were already ticking rapidly, analyzing the situation.
"Bank run." Xiao Jue's voice was cold, and he saw through the essence of the matter at a glance, "Someone is spreading rumors and creating panic, intending to empty the gold bank's reserves, undermine the prestige of the general's mansion, or... take advantage of the situation to rob." His eyes were like lightning, sweeping across the men in the crowd who were shouting the loudest and waving "Zero Treasure Signature" candy tickets.
"Lingbao's signature?" Su Li looked at the candy tickets that glowed with a faint platinum halo, feeling angry and anxious. "That was something Hengheng scribbled on Lingbao while he was holding her! It's not a credit certificate at all!"
"If I explain now... I'm afraid no one will believe me." Luo looked at the enthusiastic crowd outside, her brows furrowed. "The most urgent thing is to stabilize the situation and prevent unrest!"
The crowd's patience was quickly running out, the pushing and shouting were getting louder and louder, the gate of the mansion was being banged against, and it looked like it was about to get out of control!
"Chen'er!" Su Li looked at her son holding an abacus, with hope in her eyes.
Su Chen's face was filled with a calmness beyond his years. The golden light of the abacus in his arms reached its peak, and countless beads detached from the abacus, frantically colliding, combining, and deducing in the air! Within a few breaths, a complex solution model composed of golden light symbols emerged above his head!
