Chapter 46 Claude is captured

When Cheng Hao returned home that night, Lin Yuxun felt so distressed when he saw his appearance.

"Only those who endure the most hardships can become the best." Cheng Hao said with a smile, "I need to practice more now so that I can avoid getting injured when I compete in the future."

Lin Yuxun said, "I'll get some hot water and apply it to you."

"No, it will be fine in a while." Cheng Hao said, "I didn't do any physical training at Old George's today, so I'll have to do more training later."

For boxers, there are many difficulties to overcome, the first of which is training.

Training is really tiring. Many people want to give up during training. Even Cheng Hao wanted to give up countless times in his previous life.

He persisted mainly because he was an orphan at the time and was afraid that he would not be able to persist in training and would not be able to stay in the boxing team.

He was only fourteen or fifteen years old at the time, but he regarded the boxing team as his home and persevered.

By now, training has become a habit and a daily routine for him.

Cheng Hao insisted on training, and Lin Yuxun read a book beside him.

After reading for a while, he couldn't help but look at Cheng Hao and pay attention to Cheng Hao's situation. After he paid attention, he would read more attentively.

Cheng Hao works so hard, why wouldn't he be attentive?

Sitting like this and reading was definitely more comfortable for him than Cheng Hao's hard training.

Lin Yuxun was thinking about this when Cheng Hao said to him, "Yuxun, do me a favor."

"What help?" Lin Yu asked.

"Sit on my back!" Cheng Hao said.

Lin Yuxun opened his eyes wide and stood up suddenly, accidentally dropping the book in his hand to the ground.

"What's wrong?" Cheng Hao asked.

"It's okay." Lin Yuxun said, "I'll help you."

He sat on Cheng Hao's back.

Lin Yuxun is actually not much heavier than Danny.

Danny is a mixed-race child with a relatively large frame. Although he has been a little malnourished before, he is over 1.3 meters tall. Lin Yuxun is sixteen years old, but he has not grown much and his frame is not large, so he is about twenty pounds heavier than Danny.

Cheng Hao asked him to sit on his shoulders and started doing push-ups.

Lin Yuxun, sitting on Cheng Hao's back, didn't dare to move at all. His heart was beating very fast. He felt sorry for Cheng Hao having to undergo such training, but at the same time, he didn't want Cheng Hao to stop.

As a result, Cheng Hao suddenly fell down while doing it.

"Are you okay?" Lin Yuxun quickly climbed down and looked at Cheng Hao worriedly.

"It's okay, I'm just tired." Cheng Hao lay on the ground with his arms and legs spread out: "I need to rest for a while." In fact, he asked Lin Yuxun to sit on his back because he wanted Lin Yuxun to rest for a while.

Lin Yuxun studies too hard. He will become nearsighted if he never takes a break.

It was so comfortable lying there that Cheng Hao didn't even want to get up, but he finally got up and went to do the next exercise.

It rained that night and the temperature dropped a lot.

It actually rains frequently here, but the rain doesn't stop Cheng Hao from going out.

He put on his raincoat and rubber shoes and ran to Old George's.

Old George was quite shocked when he saw Cheng Hao: "I thought you wouldn't come today."

Yesterday, Cheng Hao was practicing dodging and was beaten quite badly, with many bruises on his body. He told Cheng Hao at that time that he could rest for two days.

"Training can't stop!" Cheng Hao said, "But today I won't just take a beating, I can also fight."

For the next half month, Cheng Hao trained with Will. He spent most of his time learning how to dodge, but he would also fight with Will.

However, Cheng Hao would not use his full strength to attack Will. He would only use his full strength when practicing attacks with sandbags or dummies.

Since Cheng Hao was going to train with Will, he didn't keep an eye on Claude all day like he did at the beginning, so Claude always went out to play alone, and he was always dirty when he came back.

But he had a lot of fun and even told Cheng Hao what they played, such as chasing pigeons and playing in an abandoned building. Not only that, according to his description, the people who played with him were all children from the neighborhood who were about seven, eight or ten years old.

Cheng Hao knew that Claude was not the kind of person who would bully others easily, and a group of children would not do anything to him, so he left him alone - children always need friends.

Today, Claude went out again. Before leaving, he took the initiative to find Arabella and said, "Arabella, pocket money."

Old George and Arabella still had quite a bit of money, and they were generous with their spending. When Claude asked for it, Arabella gave him a dollar as usual. After he left happily, Arabella gave Cheng Hao another dollar: "This is your pocket money."

"I don't need it." Cheng Hao smiled. He lived and ate at Old George's place, and Old George even hired him a training partner. It was already a great benefit, so there was no way he would ask for more money.

"You're really not like a child," said Arabella.

Old George nodded in agreement.

He had met many boxers before, and many of them would find ways to slack off during training, except Cheng Hao, who never slacked off.

Apart from the fact that he had to go home every night, there was nothing wrong with him. He was so self-disciplined that he didn't look like a young man.

Claude used to go out and come back at dinner time, but today he didn't come back.

Cheng Hao suddenly felt a little uneasy.

Claude has mental problems. Could he have been bullied outside?

Cheng Hao was worried, and so were Old George and Arabella. Just then, a police car roared in and stopped at Old George's door. Someone shouted, "Old George! Is Old George here?"

"What happened?" Old George asked. Cheng Hao followed him out and then they saw Seth.

Seth had looked wild when he was fighting in the bar, but now in his uniform, he looked quite gentle. He looked at Old George and said, "Old George, Claude is at the police station."

Claude was arrested for beating up a group of kids.

Cheng Hao, Old George and Arabella went to the police station together. On the way, they learned some things from Seth.

The matter was quite simple. Claude beat up a group of children while playing and broke two of them's heads. The children's parents called the police and now Claude has been arrested.

"He was too powerful. We couldn't control him at all. We had to shoot him and then caught him," said Seth.

Cheng Hao was shocked when he heard this: "Shoot?"

"Don't worry, we didn't hit him. We just scared him," Seth said. "After we fired the shot, he was terrified and couldn't stop shaking."

Cheng Hao felt complicated for a moment: "Claude must have been bullied by those kids, that's why he hit them."

Claude actually has a good personality and usually doesn't fight with others - but if he really wants to fight, with his strength, he can beat up a large number of adults.

Moreover, he spoke with fondness for his friends.

"It's up to others to believe it," Seth said.

You really have to make others believe it.

When Cheng Hao arrived at the police station, he found that the people beaten by Claude were a group of children. The oldest of these children was only about ten years old, and they were crying.

"The two most seriously ill children have been sent to the hospital," Seth said. As soon as he finished speaking, the children's parents gathered around him.

"It was your son who broke my son's head?"

"Damn it, he should be shot!"

"A grown man actually hits a child!"

These people had already visited Claude and knew that he was a black man. Perhaps because of this, none of them bothered Cheng Hao, but instead they all went after Old George.

Cheng Hao stood in front of Old George and said, "Everyone, stop for a moment. We need to find out what's going on!"

"What do you need to know? He hit the kid!"

"The child is still in the hospital!"

"He's a villain!"

These people cursed Claude while their eyes wandered to Old George.

Cheng Hao was fine, he was wearing old training clothes, and they were dirty because he rolled around during training. He looked like a poor guy at first glance, but old George was different.

Old George was dressed very nicely and wore a watch that looked expensive.

Cheng Hao felt that when these parents rushed towards Old George, they almost wanted to snatch the watch from his hand.

Fortunately, the police stopped them.

"Mr. Policeman, we want to see Claude!" Cheng Hao said.

The police agreed.

Claude was locked in a small room without windows. As soon as Cheng Hao entered, he saw Claude huddled in the corner crying. He squatted there, looking extremely pitiful.

"Claude." Cheng Hao called out.

"Cheng!" Claude raised his head and suddenly burst into tears: "Cheng, my glasses, my glasses are broken."
